Wonderful food and for the crowd it came surprisingly fast. Prices are commensurate with food and atmosphere. The people are friendly and work very hard. I don't understand why there would be a long waiting list with 12 vacant tables and between 5 and 7 servers behind the counter looking at the empty tables and talking. read more

This was our first visit to The Big Biscuit and it was a wonderful experience. Our day started with my grandma's funeral, so I needed a comfort Burger and a cup of coffee. This place hit the spot! They welcomed us in pretty fast, everybody was warm and welcoming with huge smiles. Very family friendly! The food was amazing, and hot. My burger was huge and mouth watering! My husband picked up take out for Mother's Day--and I must say that they cooked the best French toast (second to my own), eggs, bacon, and potatoes that I have ever had. This food was sooo good! If I get a choice in breakfast, this is probably where I'm picking. This location usually has little to no wait and we have never waited a crazy amount of time for our meal. Their sticky biscuits are sweet bites from Heaven. I haven't eaten anything here I didn't like! I love love love their biscuits and gravy but all of their bowls are delicious too! The Bonut is delicious! We went for breakfast and ordered a bonut to share. It is a biscuit dipped in french toast batter and deep fried then covered in powdered sugar. It was delicious. Overall I would recommend as a go to breakfast spot. We had regular eggs Benedict, Country Eggs Benedict and Jim's Breakfast. The only negative was the grits were a little thin. read more

It was my first time ever going. I booked a table on Yelp. I am so glad I did reading the video saying there was going to be a small weight. So I get to the restaurant check-in and go sit in my car. Not even 5 seconds as soon as my butt hit the seat. I got a text saying my table was ready. the restaurant was PACKED, I would've had to have waited for a table. Will be worth the wait! The waitress I had Ruby, she was amazing! She knew the menu so well. And I got the French toast with bananas and chocolat chips. a quarter biscuit and a sticky bun to go.That sticky bun held up so good several hours after. you just heat up, and it's so good. I love the food it was so good. I do plan on the back and trying much more of the menu that sounded and looked so good. It was clean, friendly, nice. I love it! Highly recommend!! I will say it isn't cheap it is pricy if you bring a party or go big like I did and gFrench Toastot a bill for $30. However, it is so worth it!!! The food was great, staff was average. Lots of empty tables with just as many waiters/waitresses just standing around. Seemed like mostly younger kids, with little experience. I would go back for the food, in hopes the staff has improved. read more

Food was okay, service was hmmmm.... I have never heard you can only put in 6 orders at a time. Food took quite awhile to receive for simple orders. Manager understood the food was taking to long to come out and comped some of our bill. read more

Good food, fast service! Portions are big, especially the kids plates. Coffee comes in a personal-sized pitcher. The food is pretty straight forward as my scrambled eggs were definitely cooked too quickly and the potatoes appeared to be deep fried, pre frozen. There is seating outside, too. The manager was active on the floor and even asked us if we had been greeted. The five stars are for the portions, the pleasantry with which we were treated and it being so efficient to get in and out with our child. read more

Absolutely great food and service. The biscuits are fluffy and yummy with a wonderful sausage gravy. I had the Mayberry, a cheddar and sausage omelette served with breakfast potatoes and a biscuit w gravy. Big omelette couldn't finish everything do taking a biscuit home. Tried the Bug Biscuit in Raymore for the first time last Saturday. Big Biscuits, Big Portions, Big Ticket! $2.50 for a cup of coffee! Service was good and their is plenty of seating. It's not the cheapest breakfast in town but it will do in a pinch. It's a busy place. read more

Have been three times now and never disappointed which by the crowd that's usually there that must be the case for everyone else too! Very cute place - has that southern, farm feel to it. Of course the biscuits are awesome but love the waffles and pancakes. Eggs are always done well. Sausage patties are a little different as they are a very thin patty but taste good. Gravy is thick and they give plenty of it for biscuits and gravy. I do wish it had a little more seasoning to it though but it would appeal to the mass. This place is amazing and very easy to find. Close to the freeway in a strip mall across the street from Walmart. I was greeted and seated immediately upon entering the restaurant. I was offered a voice of table or booth and if I wanted fast service I could sit at the counter. I opted for the counter, again greeted immediately offered water and juice, asked if I would like to try a loaded biscuit. I was feeling adventurous so went for it. FLAKEY, FLUFFY absolutely scrumptious. I ordered the chicken biscuit with gravy , hash browns. Chicken was tender, gravy was full of flavor, biscuit was soft, BIG and fluffy. Hash browns were cooked perfectly, serving sizes are large!!! You will not go away hungry!!!! You can call in an order and it will be ready when you arrive. I'm not exactly sure why on earth there are so many employees behind a counter and it takes 10 minutes to get greeted and it begins with an apology for the wait!! Unreal! Once we ordered our food it was out quickly and tasted pretty good for the most part, no complaints there. Our server never came back with the ticket....she had an 8 top table now, which I understand the complexity of putting orders in a computer with so many breakfast modifications!! The manager....he didn't want to be there. I walked up to him to pay. Yes, I complained...but not about our server....just their level of service in general. He never apologized or anything!! We have heard nothing but raves about this place so when my mom came to stay from out of town we decided to go out for breakfast at The Big Biscuit. It was a Sunday morning so they were busy and there was about a 20 minute wait. I liked the food, I had biscuits and gravy and my son had the pancakes. Great place to stop and grab breakfast. Beware it's really easy to over eat since they have so many great options. The biscuits and gravy are light and fluffy with the traditional white flour gravy with black pepper and sausage. It's country breakfast at it's finest. Our group consisted of three moms and six small children. We went during the week to avoid the rush. We had great customer service, amazing food, they happily let you split meals, bringing a thermos pitcher of coffee to the table and plenty of napkins...so the moms can pick up the floor and not look like slobs. read more

Okay this place was by far very par. Breakfast is a little highly priced. I retract my statement before about the coffee it has a very weird aftertaste not a big fan of it. I ordered the chicken fried steak good portion just par nothing great. for being called The Big Biscuit biscuits are a little surprisingly dry and not that big. Terrible service. We went on Easter Sunday for brunch and the restaurant was surprisingly not busy. We were seated immediately which was wonderful. We sat for about 5 minutes before we were acknowledged. We have our drink order to a waiter. Drinks arrived 5 minutes later by another waitress who said she would be right back to take our order. We sat for about 15 more minutes while the waitress served every table around us and even stood in the back talking to others. Not a single worker came up to use during this entire time. I even try to wave down someone and no one came. Eventually I got our waitress Chloe's attention who said sorry she forgot she had our table. Finally ordered. Food came and it was wrong probably because she stopped writing our order halfway through. She didn't come back again. No drink refills nothing. I managed to get more drink by flagging her down. Asked if I wanted to go even though we were clearly still eating. She clearly did not care about our table and made it clear. She chit chatted with every other table and knew she screwed up with us so she just stayed away from us. Food was good but we won't be back if service is this terrible. The price of the food is too high to have terrible service. read more
