    Shrimp cocktail

We were on vacation and starving so we pulled up restaurants nearby and this was a spur of the moment choice. Needless to say it did not disappoint. We very lucky and got a table in the bar area as they were booked with reservations. We started with the shrimp cocktail which was so good. The shrimp were ice cold and the cocktail sauce was perfect. We opted to share the New York Strip which was topped with fried onions, and our sides of scratch made collards and mashed potatoes. They plated our steaks and sides on two different plates before bringing our food to the table. This was by far some of the best food we had on this trip. We finished up with MOLTEN CHOCOLATE BOMBE which is a ‍Chocolate cake with a warm liquid chocolate center, with vanilla ice cream and we opted to have it "loaded" with peanut butter, bacon, and whipped cream. OH MY GOODNESS!!!! The ambiance was very nice. As I said, we sat in the bar area but it was still very quiet and it's a quaint little restaurant. The server was stellar. If you're ever in Prospect Kentucky, do not miss this spot.

Had a wonderful dining experience here at Blackstone. Trish, our sever was attentive, knowledgeable, and patient. My steak was cooked perfectly, and I loved the corn pudding (not in the photo) Looking forward to my next visit.

Had one of the better meals I've had in a while at Blackstone. My husband and I wandered in early on a Friday night not realizing we probably needed a reservation, but luckily, they had some open seating in the bar area. Service was good but getting food took a while, but it was evident that there were staffing issues so I wouldn't hold that against them. I had a grilled chicken sandwich, my husband had a burger and we also tried their French onion soup and a salad. We were impressed by all of it! I love finding good local spots in the East End. Blackstone was such a pleasant surprise and I'll definitely be back.

We won't be dining here again. Waited 2 hours. Food mediocre at best. Owner very rude and not personable at all. Beware.

This is the second time I've visited Bourbon and Burgers and have honestly been blown away both…read moretimes. We dropped in on Oaks night and even though it was pretty busy we were able to grab two seats at the bar. The only downfall of this was the time of day and the position of the Sun blaring through the garage door windows blasting me in the face however that cannot be helped or avoided, just a heads up for anyone who is super sensitive to the sun and arrives around sunset. I started with a Sunset Spritz and looked over the menu, there are so many great options to choose from and I was really torn on what to get but decided on the blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich (you can also get grilled or fried, but the bartender recommended blackened) and an order of sweet potato fries. The fries come with a side of a smoky pineapple chutney of some sort and even though I'm not a huge fan of anything that's really smoky it was absolutely delicious and a great combo. Seriously 10/10 recommend. The sandwich was also fire! I am extremely picky about sea food, especially since I used to live near the cost so it was always fresh and it definitely did not disappoint. I was so full when we left lol My husband got the beef sliders as his entrée with a side of regular fries tossed in roasted garlic pepper. I tried them and they were just OK. The sweet potato fries are definitely where it's at! I am really looking forward to going back and trying out some new items like the Cheeseburger Hand pies, Chicken tenders or one of their boozy milkshakes ... it sounds delicious doesn't it!

Another Ole Restaurant Group/Martinez/Lorenzo style place...and, honestly, their menus are all…read morestarting to blend together. Bourbon and Burger's menu is at least 50% identical to Mussel and Burger Bar and has some overlap with Havana as well (both currently or previously owned by Ole Restaurant Group/Martinez/Lorenzo). If you like Mussel and Burger, you'll like this. And pay about $10 more per meal. The burgers are mainly in the $15-$18 range. For JUST a burger. Add an extra $5-$7 for fries and you're looking at a BURGER meal topping out around $25. That's more than you'll pay for a burger at any fine steakhouse. Shakes are $9-$15! $1 extra for ranch! We just spent $120 for 3 people. For BURGERS. I'm not sure who decided on this price point but it doesn't fit. The vibe of the place is very casual. The food itself tasted fine. I don't recommend the zucchini fries. Burgers are too tall - with 2 patties on them. We had to eat them in sections with forks and knives (no thanks). Service was very slow. I don't think our server actually ever checked on us the entire time we had our food. Towards the end of the meal, I noticed the server had taken my soda away. And never brought a new one. I have no idea why. The grass bull outside makes for a fun pic. The restaurant has a great ambiance and offers outdoor seating as well. We won't be back.
