Norwalk's best shrimp place for sure will definitely recommend, customer service Here is great quick very friendly and helpful. I've been coming here for years because of their great quality of food, excellent customer service led by Thi, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambiance is always fantastic when there's a Dodger game playing on their TV.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All of their food is amazing, but I consistently tend to order their Blazing Claw Combo #1 spicy, with whole shrimp, mussels, clams, and extra potatoes, along with a side of steamed rice. This meal feeds about four people and costs me $62 with tip. Stop by and enjoy their food, and Thi will take good care of your party.

I love this place! And yes, I have had the others! The young lady and gentleman that run this place are so hard working! We always come here when we are craving shrimp in a bag. It was the first time I saw this placed PACKED! Yes the service was a little slow but because it was only two of them! We didn't mind! We ordered 1/2 dozen oysters; they were fresh and tasty! We also got two pounds of head on shrimp (mild, blazin' sauce) no extras, garlic noodles, and the lemon pepper garlic fries! I got a lemonade and my bf got a Michelin ultra on draft.

Ordered here getting my son his first shrimp boil for his early bday celebration. The ordering was easy and straight up. It was ready in good time packaged right and still hot when we got home. The shrimp were a really good size nice and plump cooked perfectly. The potatoes were soft and seasoned well. Corn was soft and the sausage was pretty good had a smoky flavor. Garlic flavor was on point I asked for. O spice but I still got a nice lil punch in the end sometimes Perfect! Even when I was done I couldn't help eating the sauce with garlic. The prices were really good. Compared to other places and you get a bit more than others. We both enjoyed our dinner and will be back for more.

I am not sure how this place is empty. I'm a "boiling crab is the best that exist" person but this place was very good. Service was nice and the place is clean. We ordered blazing claw shrimp, popcorn shrimp and garlic Cajun fries. All the food was delicious and you can't go wrong with 5 dollar drafts. Definitely a spot I'd come back to if in the mood and not wanting to wait 2 hrs to be seated elsewhere. I'd recommend!

Bones in salmon and they give out sporks as utensils. Really they do.

So, the garlic salmon had a ton of bones in it. The menu doesn't say that it does have bones. Thought it was an honest cook oversight. Server/ manager (the only person there) came to our table and told me that all salmon at restaurants have bones in them. Could you imagine how a yelp elite member felt hearing that ? Like I've never had decent salmon at a restaurant. So, the condescending attitude was its own thing, she didn't bother to replace it, apologize, or anything. I can't wait to pass by one day and see this place long gone.

10/10 highly recommend! We got the combo #3 with king crab, clams, and 2lbs of peeled shrimp. We added an additional unpeeled shrimp, extra sausage, potatoes, corn and 2 sides of rice. We also tried the garlic Cajun fries and sweet potato fries. This fed 5 people. The owner was super sweet she made sure we had everything we needed. She offered us bibs, gloves and a whole container of napkins. The ambiance is laid back and relaxing. I will be back again to eat more! The Cajun flavoring was phenomenal!!! The location is hidden behind some of the major buildings facing the street, be sure to head towards Milagros and it'll be in the middle of the parking lot.

I did take out. Service was good. I got 1 pound of whole shrimp and steam rice. When I got home and opened the bag and I could smell shrimp, which yes, I understand I bought shrimp but I've been to other shrimp places and I can barely smell the shrimp/fish smell. Second. The sauce was spicy, which I liked. But it was VERY watery. Barely taste like any spices were in there. Taste like water more than anything. I knew I should've stuck to my regular shrimp place.

Price was okay. Food was okay. Flavor is definitely different than what I'm used to in Seafood Boils. The flavor is much more tomato forward with a bit of sweetness. We got the Blazin sauce. Not my cup of tea, but to each their own. Micheladas were good. Good set up for watching sports. Service was good and friendly. Unfortunately, later that night my wife and I did get food poisoning. We ate this on an empty stomach for a late lunch on a Sunday. My wife and i were throwing up before dinner. Don't think I will be going back. read more

I came in today 05/16/2026 at 2pm. I walked in and said hello and i asked if they have high chairs (i have twins) and she pointed where like "self serve" but i was like Alright? And the asian lady taking my order had a disgusting attitude. Not welcoming or friendly at all. Kind of like "hurry up and buy" people honestly. She seemed bothered the entire time even though im very polite towards her. Now the food. Its got to be the worst seafood boil i have ever had. The mussels were super soft and extra chewy like if its undercooked. The fries? PLAIN! I asked for garlic cajun and it literally tasted straight like powder and there was NO GARLIC in sight. The shrimp was mushy as well which is unbelievable because its not that hard to cook properly. I left without giving a tip because why should i tip when i had terrible service, undercooked and mushy seafood, and had to fix my table. If you think about trying this place just be prepared to be disappointed. read more

The wife and I came here for a spontaneous date night. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was packed, which is a good sign in my opinion.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were greeted and sat within 3 minutes. Ken came over and explained to us how everything worked and he was extremely nice and answered all of the questions we had. We ordered the Blazin' Claw combo #2 and a dozen oysters. The oysters were delicious. The snow crab was meaty and plump. I really appreciate Ken explaining the menu and letting us know that we had options when it came to the shrimp. I prefer them headless and peeled and he made sure that happened. The only knock I can give this place is that there were no IPAs on tap. We give The Blazin' Claw a 9.5/10. Terrible service! Felt very discriminated, came for the first time for a date night for Valentine's Day. There were no waiting guests or waiting times whatsoever, however we were seated and taken are order. Another party arrives after us and receives their drinks, appetizers and full entree after the fact we were still waiting. Never once were we asked if our food or drinks were out yet, just looks over there shouts and no accountability. Looks like the owner hires children and not mature young adults. I don't recommend this place ever! read more

The food was excellent and the customer service was amazing! We called ahead of time because we have a dog with us and we wanted to sit outside, the outdoor area wasn't set up for winter, but they set aside a table for us and offered us water for our pup! And on top of that the staff was super attentive and made sure to check up on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. It was a great night and we can't wait to go back ! read more

A 10/10 all the way round. Great service. Delicious amazing food that always comes out so good. This place is super under rated and one of my favorite places for seafood. Way better than boiling crab in my opinion. I usually get spicy in the blazing crab sauce with shrimp. Also the beer is priced well. The waiter "T" was amazing as well. I always seen the restaurant and been wanting to go. We ordered Cajun fries, buffalo wings, garlic bread and a pound of shrimp. The only thing good was the garlic bread and wings. Shrimp was over cooked and had no flavor after asking for all mixes. Had to ask for more soda because no one checked on us to see if we needed anything else. Sad to say I wouldn't go back read more

Great spot for your cajun/creole boil cravings. The meat was all cooked perfectly; sometimes restaurants tend to over cook the meat making it shrivel, become tougher & less juicier. I got the medium blazin' claw sauce but I will probably get spicier next time. Overall, solid place. read more

This place is a little hard to find but so worth it! The restaurant offer spacious indoor and outdoor seating. Really nice staff! Our waitress Thi was so sweet. Great service- despite it being a one person show! We got 2 lbs of shrimp and 1 muscle (everything seasoning)- the sauce/seasoning tasted very tomato-y. Ok flavor, I was just not expecting tomato flavor- usually take leftovers home (I dislike being wasteful), but was not enticed to bring home the leftovers. The kids love coming to crab boils, and this one did not disappoint. We started with the Cajun Garlic fries. The adults really enjoyed them. They were a bit too spicy for the kids, but they managed. I need to do an update. I gave the place a try again as I realized the times that I have been here I have never tried the mild flavor. I have been craving shrimp and did not feel like driving to La Habra so I came in a couple of days ago. I ordered the medium lemon pepper 1 lb of shrimp with sausage and a side of lemon pepper garlic fries. The shrimp was delicious, it is pretty spicy though but edible. The fries are just okay, I like to dip them in the shrimp sauce to give it more flavor. I'm happy that I gave the place another chance and will continue to come to this location. read more

Updated Review: Sadly this place has gone downhill tremendously. We used to love coming to The Blazin' Claw, unfortunately we will not be returning. The Blazin' Crab Sauce was lacking the enjoyable flavor that it used to have, and the garlic was overpowering. The shrimp was extremely difficult to peel. I ordered Spicy, and had to ask for a side of XXX Spicy... which both were disappointing in "spice" levels. Service was terrible and unwelcoming. Overall we were disappointed our entire time there. Will not be returning. read more

Horrible service. Asain owner is rude. No body attended to us until we called them over, they weren't busy at all for them to ignore us or they never asked if we needed anything during dinner. They added 20 dollar service charge on 75 dollar bill which is Joke.. 1.50 per item is added to service charge doesn't add up and will not be coming back. What a rip off. read more

The service is horrible we had to stop the owner more than once to ask for refills and she let us pay with 3 different cards and charged 18% on each check when she said she split the 18% tip 3 ways for the entire table. read more

Hidden gem by the dollar theater. Great food, great prices. $40 for a pound of garlic butter shrimp, garlic noodles, 2 drinks, and a side of sauce. We were the only two in here on a Monday night, which was kind of surprising. Couple more parties showed up towards the end of the meal. The one lady working was very nice and efficient. Horrible service! An older asian female was our server. May have been a manager or the owner? The entire time she was taking our order, she looked annoyed and had a RBF. Rolled her eyes a couple of times when I asked for extra garlic and an ice tea. After bringing our order, she never came back to ask if we were ok or needed anything. The place was not busy at all and a drink refill would have been nice. Not the case at this place! Food was nasty! Don't understand why this place has a lot of good reviews. The quality of food is not worth a 4-star review. The shrimp had a weird taste, the sauce was very thick, the rice was definitely not fresh and to top it off, we kept finding hairs in our food. 1st time here and I will never go back! read more

We decided to try this location since the Fontana one has always been amazing. Unfortunately, the experience here was disappointing. The service was lacking despite there being only one other table besides ours, we had to wave and call out just to get someone's attention. I had to let the "manager" know we were ready to order because no one checked on us. When she finally approached us, she came off as defensive rather than helpful. The food was okay, but the sauce was watery (which is a personal preference). Our sodas were flat, and when we mentioned it, the response felt dismissive. Overall, the service really missed the mark. We'll definitely be sticking with the Fontana location from now on. read more
