A nice addition to Norwalk Town Square, low key area in the back. Large dining area inside, tables are nicely spaced out, PLUS a large outside patio. 2 sinks outside the bathroom to wash hands. Decent HH pricing (wouldve gotten an IPA beer tower but it was a family dinner lol). Food was enjoyable. Only complaints is the seafood boil could use some improvement.. tasted like ketchup was the main ingredient.. needed more lemon and garlic. Also, potatoes were 99 cents a piece and we ordered 3. We were so excited there was a shrimp in a bag place opening up so close to us, but sadly after coming twice we were disappointed by the food and the service. The first time we understood they had just opened and they were trying to find their groove but the female manager was extremely rude when we asked for a more spicy sauce we were willing to pay for! She was adamant that that is how most shrimp in a bag places served their food (definitely not the case). The second visit we came in with high hopes as there were more customers we ordered the garlic noodles, 1lb of shrimp with blazin sauce medium. The garlic noodles came out looking burnt and the noodles were so dry with burnt garlic. The shrimp was okay the sauce again could have been spicier but we were okay with it since we ordered the sausage which brought the spice. When we saw another table order their garlic noodles we saw the difference and decided to let them know. The manager came to our table and we let her know the noodles were very dry and there were burnt pieces of garlic. She said that is how they come and when we let her know that was not how the other table got their noodles, she walked over to the other table to compare. She stated oh yes they are different but if you would like them like that we can reheat the noodles and add more sauce. When we asked if we could just get a new order she said no because we had ate some already. We let her know we had a few bites and when we saw the stark difference in the other tables noodles we wanted a new order. She continued to argue with us saying that we can order them wet otherwise that's how they come. So I asked so did the other table ask for them wet she refused to answer. She said she would take a percentage off since we had already eaten some(less than half was eaten). She said next time when you don't like something take one bite and then ask for a new order. She finally took the plate back and said she would go and discuss with the chef if the noodles were dry and if the garlic was burnt. I really wanted to like this place but after this interaction we will not be returning. read more

A hidden gem in the city of Norwalk. I want to start off by saying this place is a little hidden. It's located in the Norwalk Square right next to the dollar theatre. Once you find it there is plenty of parking. This building must be new because it looks nice and clean. The service was great. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and told we could sit anywhere was it was not to packed. The menu is on a QR code. Just scan and it pops up. We usually get shrimp at these type of places so of course that is what we ordered. I don't like spice so I got mine with no spice but my wife got the mild and she loved it. We also got the Cajun Garlic fries and they were delicious. The best thing is the prices were very reasonable when compared to other restaurants of the same type. Sadly they did not have their churro desert as they were still waiting for the health department to give the ok for the fryer, they need to hurry up. This is a great new place and we will be regulars. Hopefully more people find out about this place and give them some business because they deserve it. read more

I've never been a huge cajun seafood fan because of how messy it can get but this place got me sold! Our party of 8 ordered a bunch of things. Among my favs were the crawfish; nicely buttered, perfectly seasoned and super juicy to suck on. That tomato-based-garlicky sauce that came with the king crab legs elevated them to the next level. It was soooo good that I even dipped my fries, corn, oysters, clams ... you name it ... in there as well. The servings on the appetizers/sides were very generous, too. The prices are very fair for the quality and amount of food you receive. In the end cajun seafood is messy but our server Hanh was the best! Amazingly attentive and personable. Always checked on us and made sure we had enough gloves, extra napkins, and most of all that the buckets for the shells were always cleaned out. Came here since yelp reviewers were great. It was Friday night around 7pm. They were busy and only had 1 person taking orders and two females in the front who were mostly talking tot each other throughout our visit there (not sure why they just didn't pull one of them to help with orders) the lady taking orders said "there's two parties ahead of you" which I assumed we were going to be waiting awhile just to get our order taken. I was right took about 15 minutes to take the order then another 10 minutes just to get drinks. Then about 30 minutes for our food. Once we got our food the waitress never checked on us, we asked for napkins and she never came back so we grabbed them from the sink outside their restroom. We needed refills never got any and seafood boil was a 6/10. I was beyond over it at the end of our visit so we got up to pay so we wouldn't wait any longer when we go up to the register the waitress said "leaving so soon" like we hadn't been waiting forever then checks out a regular in back of us before us. I was so upset I didn't leave a tip but then realized they charge a 18% service fee. Definitely won't be back read more

I don't know what happened to the service of this establishment but it has definitely changed. My friend and I came here on a Friday night around 8pm. Noticed a couple dirty tables as you walked in. There was a large party in the patio and about 2 other people inside. It seemed that it was only one waitress working and so we sat down and waited for her to come to the table. We sat about 30 mins until she came and we were ready to order. We ordered combo 1, but when we asked for peeled shrimp she told us it was $5 extra per pound so we were looking at $15 up charge. After placing our order is when we noticed 5 people come out of the back kitchen. The Asian gentlemen came to our table to ask if we've been helped and we said yes. 10 mins later he comes back to ask about our order so it seemed as if the waitress never inputted our order. 20 mins go by and here comes our food. We stuffed our faces because we were so hungry but felt like there wasn't enough sauce in the bag. The sausages were rubbery and the corn was soggy. My go to is the combo #3 where I can get 3lbs of crawfish plus 3 clusters of snow crab legs with all the fixins! Decent food, terrible service Today is Father's Day, and we decided to try a new seafood spot. We ordered the blazing combo, as well as 2 additional entrees. Although the combo (shrimp, crawfish, mussels) was decent, our 2 entrees (fish & chips and shrimp & chips) were not fresh.. as if it came straight from the freezer to the fryer. Another thing was the customer service. The manager was very stern and lacked hospitality. She took our order and for some reason, we weren't able to substitute our sides (to sweet potato fries) even when willing to pay extra. Also, no one was checking up on our table throughout service. THE MOST ANNOYING part was that one of the servers/team members was mopping RIGHT NEXT TO US... during business hours and while there were customers in-house. I went last friday craving seafood boil really badly (a little too late in the night). They closed at 10 and I wasnt able to arrive until around 9:30 with my friend. I was so worried that I wouldnt be able to satisfy my craving that night but our server Thi was so kind and patient and helpful and welcoming even for how late it was.
