Finally, an amazing Pizza. After trying numerous Pizza Parlors here in town, I think I have found my favorite, The Blind Onion. We stopped in for a "snack" of sorts. I ordered a single slice of Pepperoni. Their single slices is a "Super Slice" which is actually two slices or rough 1/4 of a Large Pizza. Yes please. What a great pie. The dough was tasty, substantial but not overly thick and cooked with a snap to the base. The cheese and sauce were a perfect blend and the "mini-pepperoni's" were a bit different but surprising easier to eat. The Blind Onion and Wild Garlic are two sides of the same coin. They share recipes and cooking techniques. We'll be back to try a proper pie. read more

I had never eaten pizza with artichoke in my life, and I must admit that OMG, it was delicious. I LOVED MY PIZZA, I think it's my new favorite pizza. The Blind Onion is a local fave for good reason. Great pizza, great beer, and my toddler enjoyed being able to play games while we waited for food (which we didn't wait long for at all). The dining area is nice and neat, with decor that fits what you'd expect from a pizza pub. Their TVs are large and in great shape, and all tables are fully equipped with Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, sriracha, and of course a squeeze bottle of honey. I walked in and let the guy up front know I had placed an order to go. The man had these bloodshot eyes and glasses on. Older, chubby gentleman. He looked me in the eyes and said "ok. What do you want." Horrible attitude, condescending tone. I've been here several times and had a decent experience, but this was easily the worst. There's multiple locations so make sure you're calling the right location if you're your order to-go. I would highly recommend calling in as it does take about 20 mins for the pizza to be ready. East take-out spot. Ordered a medium pizza (12") serves 2-3 people - half Carnivore and half General's. They only do half/half for medium and large sizes. They gave plenty of ranch and honey to dip the crust in. The pizza was ok, nothing special... it's just your standard pizza but the crust is a bit more unique/soft. There's a lot of cheese, too much Canadian bacon (overpowered the flavor) and not enough pepperoni/sausage. Not enough meat period. read more

I really like the twisty crust...and with the honey mmh mmh mmh I ordered for pickup so I'm not sure how it is for dining in BUT the pick up was really fast, really easy, and there weren't any issues. 5/1/23 Went here with the homies and got some pizza and beer of course . This was my 1st time here . The service was great , fresh made pizza. Wasn't very crowded for 6pm on a Monday evening . We got the Popeyes pizza which is -pesto white sauce, spinach, mozzarella cheese, chicken breast, red onions and fresh Roma tomatoes and it was Delicious. I would definitely get again . Next we had BreathBuster which B is Fred's Red sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, linguiça, garlic and red onions.. OH man this was amazing love the tons of garlic they put sooo good . Recommend for sure. Also had the Garlic cheesy bread and that was mighty good too. Asked for extra ranch and also ask for the Honey, you will want to dip , or drizzle or whatever with your pizza ends / or cheesy bread wow what a combo i never knew and it was Excellent. I ordered for my son a large single cheese pizza and they gave me 2 huge slices , whoa huge i say and he ate 1 , that was enough and he loved it . Summary? Not bad. Not great, but not bad. Considering our purchase was $80, I expected more, though. We got a large vegitable pizza with pink sauce (half red, half white) add bacon, cinnamon twists, large house salad, and cheesey garlic focaccia. We also got sides of house made ranch and honey. From what I'm told, they had a spicy honey dip which is great for the pizza crusts. Unfortunately I didn't get to try it, as I got plain honey instead. Not sure why, but it is what it is. Let's start with the salad. Not bad. Little grape tomatoes are a nice touch. Nice thin cucumber slices. It's likely to last longer before wilting that way. Unfortunately the croutons in it were already softening up, and the lettuce (which was fresh, green, and tasty) was awkwardly cut, making it hard to eat. Every bite had the salad brushing your cheek before you're able to get it into your mouth..... So, meh. The homemade dressing was something special - and divisive. I loved it. You could really taste what I think was dill and other herbs. My wife? Hated it. Said it tasted bitter. Had to be the herbs. If you like something fresh I think you'll dig it, tho. Cinnamon twists were also meh. I can see what they were trying to do, but there wasn't enough cinnamon or sugar to make these a dessert. They did have a nice chew, and tasted pretty good - but there wasn't enough to make them pop. The honey helped some, but I would have preferred more flavor on the knots themselves. Now the cheesy garlic focaccia? The best thing I got tonight. Great tasting, great chew and mouth feel. Lots of garlic, herbs, butter, and cheese. Easily the best thing we had Tonight. I'd order this again in a second, and eat it with that fresh tasting ranch. Now, the veggie pizza. The most meh thing we got tonight. The crust was inconsistent. Certain pieces were great, and held up well to the toppings. You could hold the slice up and eat it easily. Other slices literally fell apart from moisture, or perhaps because the crust was too thin in parts. I don't want to knock them too much on this because they make the dough from scratch (I'm told) and when you are aren't using industrial machinery to make your pizza it's not going to be perfect. That being said - it was really, really delicate. The flavors were good. A nice selection of veggies. I'm a sucker for Artichoke hearts. And the bacon I added always sets a veggie pizza off just right. So it wasn't by any means bad. Was it worth the $35-$40 we paid for it? I don't think so. Paying that much for something, you expect perfection. I'd expect this from a $10 pie from Dominos. It's unfortunate that inflation has caused prices to rise for restaurants and customers alike. But that price increase means people are going to nit-pick every big spend to determine if it's worth it. I consider this a big spend ($80) - and after tonight's meal, I can't justify coming back here to spend this much on a meal that left us wishing we'd only bought the bread sticks. Why am I giving it three out of five instead of something less? Because I see the potential, and want to give them the benefit of the doubt. Everything we got could have been perfect with just a little bit more attention, something I hope others get to experience. read more

WOAH, holy flavor alert!!!! Took out two 16" pizzas and was enough to easily feed 6+ adults! We got the chicken pesto and breath buster pizzas and it's a tough debate which one was better. They are just oozing with great ingredients and amazing flavor. They changed their garlic cheese bread. It's now overpriced focaccia bread and not nearly as good. We had a Hawaiian and combo pizzas as well. We have been craving Blind Onion pizza forever. After a long road trip this was the final stretch before getting home an hour away. We decided to stop here for dinner. The place looked clean at first. It was snowing outside and discovered the inside space was cold. Either no heat or the thermostat was low. We asked if they could turn up the heat. I ordered a pizza but was surprised with the cost. Our pizza was around $36! While waiting for our pizza, I asked the lady at the counter a question. I then noticed she looked like she was fighting a cold. She was wearing a hoodie and looked like she had a runny nose. Not good. We got our pizza and needed silver ware. That is when I noticed this place was not as clean as I thought. The container that had the silver ware was almost empty and was dirty with crumbs. I took the whole thing and emptied it with the dirty buckets. I told the employee and asked her for plastic ware instead. They only have three or four beers on tap, but that didn't really bother me.
