The filet sliders were extremely tender, the Mac and cheese was probably some of the best I've had at Disney, and the truffle fries were delicious and extremely flavorful. Everything came out fast and our server was extremely friendly. He checked on us many times throughout our meal and made sure to get us anything we needed. It is the perfect place for big family meals and kids. We made a reservation even though it was lunch and we were glad we did. Our group shared appetizers and the filet sliders and coconut shrimp were delicious. My main dish was the crab cake, it was huge and mostly crab, so so yummy! The espresso martini was great and it was fun to watch the old cars drive around the lake. If there was one downside, it would be that it was loud. We had a long table with 11 people and it was impossible to hear everyone. But it was prime dinner time and packed so that was pretty unavoidable. read more

I realized after I sat down at the interior bar that I could have sat at the bar on the water, good to know for next time! I ordered the Caesar salad, jumbo lump crab cake, firecracker shrimp and the Tito's strawberry fields for my cocktail. The bartenders were super friendly and helped me right away. I had a drink in my hand within about 5 minutes or so of sitting down . My cocktail was NOT sweet at all, tasted like water with lemon, which I enjoy but not when I'm expecting a delicious tasty cocktail. I did give it a swirl with my straw and that made it a little more flavorful. My Caesar salad was decent, the dressing was a little more watery then I prefer and I could have used a few more croutons but overall I liked it. The crab cake was HUGE! They were not lying when they said jumbo and I probably could have skipped the shrimp because it was way too much food. The crab cake tasted amazing! It was sooooo buttery and packed with lump crab, which I def expected for $34.00! I think it is in my top three of all time crab cakes I've had. It came with cole slaw which was very creamy how I like but it had nooooo flavor. Such an amazing first food stop to our Disney trip! From the moment we checked in, the service was great. We had a double stroller, with both kids asleep, so they set us up in a nice spot outside where we could keep the stroller. For food, they start you off with their rolls, which are outstanding and addicting. We could have eaten at least two orders of them, but didn't want to fill up. For our main meals, my wife and I split the lobster tail and dynamite shrimp. Both were excellent. The lobster was super fresh and tender. The brown butter really put it over the top. The dynamite shrimp were also really good. The sauce had the perfect amount of spice and sweetness. I also really liked the bell peppers that came with them. Overall, it was a great experience. I forget our server's name, she was from Colorado and could not have been more friendly and helpful. Full disclosure is that I was here this particular morning well before they opened for a job interview. While I did not get the job, I was imp impressed with them. I have been inside the restaurant several times and it was always really crowded, but I haven't had the opportunity to actually dine here yet. Being here when it was essentially empty was a whole new experience for me. Everything was laid out and ready to go in the whole place was very clean. I did check out some of the items in the gift shop window and I was really impressed with the carved ducks they have in the one window. I did ask about them and was told they come from an artist who they believe is in Wisconsin. The artist brought together the interests of duck hunting and golf from their family and started making these items. There were a few carved ducks that were just absolutely stunning and then there was a whole collection of what I first took to be golf club heads that I realized were actually ducks as well. They were beautifully done, and I would even consider owning one just for the artistic quality of it. I did look over the menu while I was here for the first time and while I have to be careful of a shellfish allergy they had some steaks on the menu that actually sound pretty darn good. I will definitely be looking to stop back through to check the entire gift shop out later and hopefully get the opportunity to dine there as well. Every restaurant at Disney is a good choice when you have any type of allergy because they always listen and pay attention and do their best to make sure that you can have a safe and happy meal. read more

I went here for brunch last weekend and even though it was a little early in the day, I had to start off the meal with the lobster bisque! It was very rich and savory and I really enjoyed it. I would not recommend the avocado toast. The avocado was super cold/hard and an entire avocado and two eggs on ONE slice of toast was just way too much. They could have sprung for another slice of bread for the price of the dish... 5 stars for the bisque and 3 stars for the avocado toast so I'd give it 4 overall. The vibes and menu here looked great, so we tried this place out tonight. It was very busy, but we got in off the walk in line in less than an hour. The ambiance is great, we sat outside and the weather was perfect and we caught a small sunset. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre and our service wasn't the greatest either. We never got our appetizer at all, and finally asked about our food after waiting an hour at the table and seeing parties who sat after us get their meals. They brought the food out shortly after that and some of the items were cold. They claimed they discounted the bill for the inconvenience- the only discount was the appetizer being removed (we never got this, so that's not a discount) and our discount from using our Disney Visa. I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend this for any of my friends or family. It's unfortunate for us because we only had one night to try something in Disney Springs and we picked wrong. read more

This restaurant is stunning. It has amazing views if you sit outdoors and look out onto the lake. It is definitely family friendly. They have coloring pages/crayons and highchairs. As for service, we had very attentive service. I got a shipwreck drink-this was HUGE. This was like 2-3 drinks in one! They also gave some amazing bread rolls that had honey underneath. We tried the oysters on the half shell. STUNNING! My daughter got a kids hamburger that came with fries. I got a delicious tilefish dish with coconut jasmine rice. My husband got a lobster tail dish. This is my second Yelp review for The Boathouse, and it's easy to see why it keeps pulling me back. We stopped in for lunch today at Disney Springs. Our meal was fantastic from start to finish. We had lobster roll overflowing with sweet, tender meat and no filler, a juicy sirloin steak cooked exactly to order; and filet mignon sliders that were cooked just right. For drinks, I went with my go to Old Fashioned, and once again it didn't disappoint. Service here is consistently excellent. Came here on a Thursday at the end of July with friends around 11am and got seated right away. We love the decor inside (wish I took more pictures)! Lots of wonderful sea elements! I got the lobster roll, which has lettuce and tomatoes at the bottom of the roll. The lobster is cold - wish it's hot but still really good! The portion of lobster meat is very decent! They also have a wide selection of cocktails. I wish they have more smoothie options (non-alcoholic options in general) but I was able to get a smoothie nearby after. This is my absolute favorite restaurant at Disney Springs. Anytime I have dined here the experience has always been phenomenal. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is welcoming with themed decor and good vibes and the service is amazing. What I did notice is the lunch menu and dinner menu seem to be the same so when we made reservations for lunch time we didn't miss out on the food we wanted to order. For starters they have some of the best complimentary bread at Disney. It was so good we were constantly getting refills and ended up consuming 16 rolls! We ordered 6 Oysters on the Half Shell and 6 of the Wild Caught Sea of Cortez Shrimp. Every time I'm here I have to order the oysters because to me they have some of the best. I like to try 1 of each and they are always delicious and fresh. The shrimp is also a really good option! We also ordered their Truffle Fries as an appetizer. It is listed under sides to share but you can order it like an appetizer and have it brought out before your main meal. For entrees we ordered the Classic Cheeseburger, Main Style Lobster Roll, NY Steak & Fries and the Kid's Blue Star Angus Burger. The Classic Cheeseburger is a must order if you love cheeseburgers. It was cooked perfectly and so juicy! The Main Style Lobster Roll was delicious and even though the bun is on the smaller size it is loaded with lobster meat. The NY Steak & Fries is one the best deals on the menu. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and it was so flavorful and great quality. I would go back just for the NY Steak & Fries. The kid's meal is so cute! It comes out in a little cardboard car and it fit the theming perfectly, my daughter absolutely enjoyed her meal. The ambience right when you walk in is awesome. Its a boat themed restaurant. We had a reservation and was seated pretty quickly. Once we were seated we had trouble figuring out who our server was. After about 20 minutes our server came out. The manager stepped in and made sure that we were well taken care of. My daughter got yelled popcorn shrimp, which came with skinny fries. Its cute because it comes in a car box. My daughter asked our server for a red one and at the end of the meal he brought her two clean car boxes. We also had the Mac n cheese which was delicious. We made reservations for The Boathouse on Open Table and so glad we did! Lots of people waiting for a table and it was so nice to have been able to make a reservation even earlier than what the Disney app will let you! Check in was a breeze and we were seated at a table by the window. The views of the water were so pretty! The inside was classy, but comfortable. We were given bread (oh my the bread) and water right away. Our server was so kind! We asked if my son could try the bisque before ordering it and she went and got him a small sample. My husband ordered a couple shrimp because they were massive and looked so good. Can confirm they are amazing. My son (10 years old) really wanted to try an oyster for the first time and our server picked out the perfect first timer oyster. When it was delivered she gave him instructions of how to eat it. He loved it! I had the filet sliders. I also ordered sides of the mac and cheese and the fries. My daughter had a filet and my husband had the entree of the mac and cheese that had sausage and maybe shrimp was in it too. Everyone loved their food! I also can't forget about the drinks. The Duck Duck Razz is just as delicious as it is cute. My husband had the strawberry cocktail and he loved how refreshing it was. Then I also enjoyed the key lime martini. The Boathouse has a memorable setting. Dining on the water at Disney Springs feels special and the atmosphere is elevated without being pretentious. My boyfriend was more impressed with the experience than I was, especially the food. He loves lobster rolls and he was genuinely pleased. I liked mine, but I felt the kitchen could have done a better job with the details. The bread on the lobster roll was fine, but the table bread that came before the meal was exceptional. My boyfriend said it was the best bread he has ever had. If the kitchen had used that same bread for the lobster roll, the dish would have been on another level. The other miss was the side. Serving potato chips with an upscale lobster roll brings the dish down. Fries or even a small salad would make more sense. The restaurant should offer a proper pairing or at least a choice. These are small adjustments, but they matter. Service was phenomenal. Our server knew the menu, moved at the right pace, and lifted the experience. Disney restaurants rarely fail on hospitality and this meal confirmed that standard. Overall, The Boathouse is a strong pick at Disney Springs. The atmosphere is excellent and the service is fully dialed in. My boyfriend would return without hesitation. I was pleased, but not as impressed as he was. Is there a way to give a restaurant 6 stars? Cause I cannot even begin to explain how good of an experience this place gave me. You have the ability to sit outside, on a deck, watch fireworks, live performances, and while the wait staff brings out dinner rolls. What more can a man wish for? The drinks had a cute little rubber ducky. Could not forget to mention that. The overall branding of this place is fabulous. I may be a bit bias as I love ducks but it's undeniably cool. I absolutely love the atmosphere here, it's a yatch country club feel with finesse and class. The service is always top quality with speed, accuracy, attention to detail and always friendly! The food is never far from perfect, the oysters Rockefeller is to die for with the hint of lemon and the freshness without being fishy. The beef carpaccio had to be my favorite this time around, the arugula salad was so flavor adding to the thinly sliced beef which made it a great combo! The bread rolls are free and come to the table a soon as you order drinks which I love. I personally love sitting outside to be able to get the vow of the river and the hot air balloon and just the overall vibe of being in a beach front restaurant without the beach. This was honestly one of our favorite parts of our trip to Disney World. We had reservations for Friday afternoon and stayed to ride the boat car ride. Everything about this visit was five stars. The wine and beverage selection was excellent and I have a sommelier education. My husband is a chef and thought all of the food was 10 of 10 stars. The kids meals came in adorable car boats, and my kids crushed the burgers which were made from a brisket, Angus beef blend. We got oysters and shrimp and the shrimp were colossal. We had a slightly longer wait than our reservation, but the gift shop had some fabulous finds for gifts for our family. I loved the little rubber duckies by the checkout. I got the fish special and it was indeed special, Florida tile fish with coconut rice and a fabulous sauce. My husband got the fish tacos and loved them. The kids got a great deal, dessert for five dollars. We got to go cocktails outside to take on our boat tour with our fabulous guide who gave us lots of interesting information. After a long trip, I finally stopped at Disney Springs and hearing so much about this place I had to stop by! This place is beautifully located at the end of Disney Springs at the lakefront area where you can see the balloon and the boats go by the restaurant. The restaurant itself is really nice with both indoor and outdoor venues along with a mini boardwalk that reaches out with its own private bar area. In addition, they even have dueling pianos inside! Service here was maybe the most attentive we ever had! We a very friendly server along with an assistant who was always ready to go refill your waters even though it was already left on our table. We also had two managers come by to check up on us and left a card. They really did seem to care we got the attention we needed, even if it was more than we wanted. We started with iced tea, orange juice, and their complimentary bread. So good! The bread was decked out in cinnamon and was a good taste of what to come! We got the pipette pasta and Cobb salad. They were huge! We probably could have just gotten one dish to split! They were really good and flavorful! The pasta did end up feeling a bit "soupy" at the end but that wasn't the worst as it was tasty. Overall, this was a great experience and will definitely be back and highly recommend it! read more
