After not having boiling crab or any other crab boil in forever, this definitely hit the spot. We ordered Cajun fries and shrimp, crawfish, sausage and corn. The spices and seasoning were out of this world. The servers were very nice and attentive and the tables and seats clean.

In the mood for catfish, and of course, shrimp with seasoned fries, you can't go wrong with this order! Customer service is on point on all levels. For this location, come early as it gets busy really fast in the evening.

Great eating experience! We had 1 lb of shrimp and a shrimp basket. The bags of food can be emptied onto the table top and can include other sides in the bag. There are several seasoning flavors and spice levels. The spicy level we chose was mild and it was still good! We got our bibs and ate with our hands. Great sensory experience. I recommend this establishment. I would definitely return. They have TVs and we were able to watch the baseball game as it played live.

Boiling crab was a fun experience. We got mussels, clams, shrimp, potatoes, sausage and the catfish & scallop fried baskets. Cajun fries are the best thing here. Seafood was ok. The shrimp was a little overcooked but fine. Unfortunately, the catfish and scallop were not fresh. Scallop especially had a very rubbery texture. This place always seems to have a line so I don't know if it's just super popular for the experience or maybe I came on an off day. I can see the appeal though for a big group!

I had a very bad experience at this restaurant. While eating, I found a hard rock/plastic-like object inside the food. This is a serious food safety issue. I have photos and video proof of everything. This could have caused serious injury if swallowed. Very disappointed with the restaurant's quality control and hygiene standards. Customers should be careful before eating here. I hope the management takes responsibility and improves their food safety immediately

Casual seafood boil spot in LA. They are usually always busy and have a wait. I recommend joining their yelp waitlist if you can. I usually come here with a group and we all order for ourselves but everything is shareable. They have bibs and gloves (must ask) to help with eating. But honestly if you come eat here, you will get a bit messy. But flavor of food is good. They don't have a designated parking lot, but there are free parking lots nearby and street parking available. My usual is 2lbs of shrimp whole shabang, medium spicy and fried catfish basket. They play music and have TVs inside, usually playing sports games. A small waiting area inside, or just stand outside. They will text you when your table is ready.

I love boiling crab, every location always has great staff and great food. They have tvs and show some games, the margaritas are so good. The sauce is unmatched, fries are always so crispy and delicious. There's parking on the street and on the side as well as a parking structure close by. It's located in downtown Alhambra and there's many stores, restaurants and ice cream shops close by. There's a top canvas walking distance and other collectible stores next door. There's a Photo Booth place at the corner of the block me and my boyfriend always go before we eat it's a little tradition. Love you always boiling crab

3lbs of glory. Make sure to move the sauce around in the bag, they seem not to do it for you

Ambiance is chill, usually trendy hipster music and some random sports on the televisions, Great service, make sure to get there before 3:30pm place can get crowded and a wait time is very common on all the franchises. Food is Finger licking & Succulent af

Ordered several entrées, mostly sea food. Everything was cooked fresh and tasted great. My girlfriend specifically wanted me and her son to have the live spot prawns so she ordered 2 pounds for the table. They were good sized and we watched them being netted out of the tank. It doesn't get any fresher than that. Service wasn't fantastic, we had to wave down a server every time we needed something, like ordering drinks, our food, to go containers, and our check. That being said we certainly weren't bothered by a wait staff that constantly hovered making us feel rushed so while they could have been more attentive, it was still better than being overbearing. The restaurant is loud, no acoustic ceiling, walls are all either glass or mirrors and the flooring is hard, not carpet. Not unusual for a Chinese restaurant, but something to be aware of. I was a little surprised that there was a table with a Hispanic family dining there while we were eating. Normally I am the only non Asian at more traditional Asian restaurants. So that was, to me at least, unusual. Id return.

First, parking was so difficult!! So many cars crammed close to each other and the restaurant wasn't even full, but we parked in the street nearby. The place had plenty of seating when we arrived, spacious tables that fit our group of 16. We had a large party and split into two tables, each table had peanuts and tea, we also ordered our own bit with the same serve at the same time. We ordered our usual dishes such as corn soup, honey walnut shrimp, salt and pepper squid, sal and pepper pork chops, filet beef dish, hainan chicken and many more. The service seemed slow, the bad part is that our other table got all their dishes while we had none. It took a while before our first dish arrived which was honey walnut shrimp, it was good, a bit soggy but flavorful. We asked for rice and started eating, once most of the shrimp was gone the rest of the dishes came. They were delicious, they tasted great and had good portions. The pork chop was great fresh but soon started to get tough as it cooled. The fried squid had parts that were very seasoned and some bland. My sister in law ordered a seafood tofu dish that was the best one but we ate everything before I took a photo. We also shared dishes across the tables to try out our orders. I tried the fried crab but it had more garlic than crab! The restroom was the sad part, there was no toilet paper, and no paper towels. The women's restroom door was propped wide open as well. I had to call my sister to bring in napkins for me... Overall a great meal, we may come back if the occasion allows.

However, personally, I was not a fan because it's just too much work to break down the crab just for a little bit of meat. My favorite that night was probably the fried tofu. They definitely did that very well. We also got a lot of other dishes like the clay pot rice, chicken, clams, seafood crispy noodles, and other foods I can't remember. Overall, just okay for me. I don't think I would necessarily come back.

They have a lot of tables inside so it is great for small and large groups. The waiters were also fast even though they were busy. We ordered their Kung Pao Chicken, Fried Tofu, Beef Noodle, Shrimp w Walnut, and Vegetable w Garlic. We decided not to get lobster since it was pricey. They took our order pretty fast and gave tea to drink. The pot of white rice is extra $1 if you order though. And their menu book doesn't have prices for some reason. Only the to-go menu has prices. Food was served in a decent amount of time, around 15 minutes. And all dishes arrived close together so we didn't have to wait long. The kung pao chicken is so good! Not spicy at all and very nice and crispy with good seasoning. It tasted delicious with some rice. The beef noodles were also delicious! It had good wok taste and was very flavorful. The tofu and shrimp were also good. None of the dishes were too salty and all were seasoned well and in pretty big portions, though I don't remember the exact price since they took the receipt away when we paid. My family and I used to religiously eat lobster noodles whenever we made a trip down to SoCal. The pick of the bunch was 100% Newport Seafood- no negotiations, no contemplations. Unfortunately, the last handful of times have left me extremely disappointed and heavily annoyed. The cost and wait times do not reflect what is actually being provided and most of our food ends up being left behind because it simply isn't worth the calories. In all honestly, I've grown a phobia w/ that specific restaurant at this point because of the countless letdowns. My initial taste of Boston Lobster was about 3 years ago and I had the most enjoyable meal. Due to our LA trip coming to an end, my BD thought we should do it big with some lobster noodles- for good old time's sake. I absolutely refused to go anywhere unless we would be giving Boston Lobster a visit! Sure enough, they did not disappoint! Dinner for 3 adults and 1 toddler consisted of: *Boston House Special Lobster [no spice] + Garlic Noodles for an additional fee. Medium Size 5-6lbs minimally. *French Style Beef Cube *Sauteed Snow Pea Leaves We ate like mf'n KINGS!! Each and every dish was spectacular- even the greens! While we should have gone with the small sized lobster, I'm proud to say we went down with an honorable fight. Lmao!! The lobster was cooked to perfection- meat was sweet, succulent, and so darn tender. The garlic noodles soaked up all of the delicious lobster flavors and were not overcooked and mush. The bo luc lac was flavorful, juicy, and complimented the bed of lettuce, onions, & tomatoes so well. The snow pea leaves weren't tough and old- this truly was a simply yet magical dish. Service was on point and the staff continually came by to swap out our plates full of lobster shells. Above all, there was no wait with our initial arrival. Parking is easy given the fact that BL has a pretty big parking lot specifically for them. 5/5 stars!! We dropped over 3 bills here and it didn't even hurt. Lmao- this place is that damn good! Don't sleep on this joint, y'all. Boston Lobster is the real deal when it comes to authentic Chinese/Vietnamese cuisine. This spot should be so much more hyped than it actually is!

Oh boy, did he really just blame us for not reminding him about our order? This left a bad taste in my mouth. I really should've canceled it but decided to move forward. When we received our noodle order, it was downhill from there. As if we were forgotten. He returned when we finished eating the noodles and asked we needed a to go container. We all said "Yes". He forgot again. I went ahead & got up to get containers & plastic bags as one of the staff watched me do so. My Fellow Yelp Elites said they are leaving 1-2 star reviews, I cannot blame them. I'm embarrassed & disappointed. My patronage here is final.
