So if you can and weather permits, sit outside... You'll enjoy the ambience outdoors more because it's less crowded, you hear the music in the background, and if the weather is great it just makes the whole experience even better... The food was very delicious.... Lots of flavor.... The prices are steep, but what can you expect from a seafood restaurant... Was very disappointed with this restaurant. Our server missed the order for one person in our party. However, we didn't realize this until getting the other orders and waiting (and waiting) because the SERVER NEVER CAME BACK! When someone finally checked on the order we realized her mistake and placed the last order. No discount for our trouble was given. I honestly love this place ! Their food is VERY flavorful ! A popular choice is "the whole Shabang" which is mostly good it has lemon pepper, Cajun and garlic ! My favorite is just putting the lemon pepper with Rajun Cajun (don't quote me on the name) but there is only 3 main flavors so it's not too confusing ! You have to get down and dirty lol and be ready to eat with your hands ! They don't give plastic lids or straws unless requested because we are trying to save the earth, duh ! Anyways the staff is usually great I would say 95 percent of them are super sweet and attentive but not invasive! I would recommend getting corn or potatoes with your order, plain fries are my favorite so no comment on the other ones, & when asked if you want a bib say yes ! Lol because like I said it gets messy ! The only bummer is that a couple of their things are seasonal, like blue crab they only have in July & some other crab is unavailable sometimes and fresh crawfish( whatever that means), I say if you're looking for those in specific call before going but they do have a variety of seafood! The food is delicious but when it comes to service it's horrible. We came for a family dinner (party of 9).All 8 were present and the refused to sit us. Mind you that it was a Thursday evening not busy at all. We were told it was going to be a 30 minutes wait and it took less than 10 minutes for our table to be ready. Considering the wait was going to be 30 minutes the last person would of had enough time to make it by then. So when we were called the last person wasn't here. Eh. I don't think I'll be back. Service was not good. We seemed to have more than one server. At first I thought maybe our original server went on a break without telling us, but then we saw a 3rd and later a 4th person. What's crazy is that despite having so many "attentive" people, we had to ask twice for waters and flag the manager down to place an additional order. Having the manager at easy access was nice, but having one designated, attentive server would have been better. We also asked for extra utensils to help break open the crab claws, but they never came. So we shared between the 3 of us. Awkward. Gloves would be nice too. But apparently there aren't any at this location. The food was fine. Not good enough for what we paid. Why is almost everything listed at MP? Come on. Pick a price. The oysters were horrible!!! Flavorless, no brine and dry. Blech! Who serves oysters without condiments?! No cocktail sauce? No crackers? That's standard oyster fare! The menu lacked a lot. The sauces were tasty and the sausage add-on is nice, but the only sides are carbs?! Fries, rice, potatoes and corn. All yummy, but can I have a side salad please or steamed veggies? Went in yesterday for the family and friends practice day and i cant complain. Our waitress Ericka did an amazing job. She made sure we had enough of everything. The vibe was incredible the staff did a superb job of making everyone feel amazing. The shrimp were delicious big and juicy. The micheladas were amazing especially since it was hot in there. My boyfriend and I went to go grab dinner on Saturday. We waited 15 minutes to get seated which wasn't bad are server came right away grabbed us are drinks and are orders and never saw him again till we had to call him over to give us are check. Mind you are server was nowhere to be found (oh wait yes, he was in the back soda area with other co-workers just chit chatting)! We didn't complain when we finally called over are server he brought us are bill and we noticed they over charged us, and he literally questioned us are you guys sure? It was pretty obvious there was one basket of fries and another one for our wings. He went ahead to go ask one of the so called mangers on the floor. We overheard the manger, saying are you sure. 5 minutes passed by then 10 and nothing. I went ahead and called a manager that was just looking around and let her know, that we have been waiting for a while and that they where supposed to modify are check because they overcharged us. She went ahead and printed out the receipt, saw that my boyfriend placed the card so it can be taken and she completely walked away to go talk to about 10 people standing in the main bar. (I'm guessing the people standing there where waiting to clock in?) Anyways I would expect more professionalism since they are a manger? But no!! My boyfriend told me the server was just talking and talking to other co-workers and at one point made eye contact with him, but he never showed up. Then a nice gentleman came over and asked us, do you guys need some boxes and refills, and we told him no that we just wanted to take care of the bill since we have been waiting a while. He went on and told us of course, but if you don't mind I just have to wait one minute to be able to clock in.
