I don't even know where to begin. I ordered 3lbs crawfish and 1lb crab leg my total came out to $76.00. The crawfish were overcooked and tasted old and terrible. I was charged $33 for a snow crab that literally had THREE legs and a claw and hardly no meat in it at all. I have never been so disappointed in my life. A total rip off for the whole meal. I don't eat seafood or spicy food and even I can say this place is good. Their corn on the cob is amazing!!! I ordered the sauce mix of all flavors and that stuff is crack!!!! I was addicted. They will put your seafood, or potatoes, or corn in the bag with whichever sauce you order and it is a flavor explosion! Again, I don't eat seafood so I ordered chicken wings and fries with corn on the cob (which came in the flavor bag). All tasted great!!!! All the seafood lovers i was with said the prices are worth it. The regular menu option prices are reasonable. Some seafood options sell out. Call ahead. Cleanup - they have a sink for you to wash hands because with all that sauce it gets messy. The sink is outside of the restroom which is great because you don't have to wait in a line. Location - (Burbank) within a mini mall area with other restaurants, movie theatre, dessert options and nearby stores . As a boiling crab fanatic that's been to every location, I noticed that boiling crab staff are just superior human beings who are beautiful inside and out. They tie your bibs for you so you can reconnect with your deprived, neglected inner child. They refill your water cups asap even though they're covered in the amazing goodness of what is called the shabangbang sauce. No need for banging in your life when you can have the shabangbang am I right? Every time I get a spoon full of that sauce with a fat shrimp it's like I'm reborn again and experience endless euphoria. Get the gumbo and eat it with rice. If I could give 0 stars I would! I've been to few boiling crabs in different cities and I've always had great service my husband and I agree this was the worst experience we've ever had. I walked in exactly at 1:00pm and there were two girls in the counter where one typically signs in they were having a conversation and laughing one looked at me and continued the conversation I stood there 2-3 mins waiting to sign in. When she asked what I needed she was really rude I said can I sign in for two she said okay they would text me and she said "let me know when you get the text" I stood there waiting they continued the convo until I got the text let her know I did receive it, I wasn't acknowledge they continued laughing out loud so I walked out. Later i got the text saying my table would be ready soon to go the front counter my husband and I walked over and both same girls were still at the counter. One was assisting someone the other was using the tablet to put on her lipgloss and again didn't acknowledge us. We then were walked over to our table and a server Natalie was assisting us. Initially from the start when she took our order she seemed annoyed or bothered when our food came out she brought it over didn't check on us one time we were waiting on ketchup for what seemed like 20 minutes we asked another server who was assisting the table right next to us who brought us the ketchup. They will usually be out of at least one thing and sometimes as many as 3 or 4 depending when you go! The boiling crab does not disappoint, ever. You also gotta be ready to eat with your hands and potentially get some whole shabang sauce in your eyes, you've been warned! When we were able to dine-in, we were able to check into the waiting list via the yelp app, but you still must check in with the host upon arrival and by a certain time. As with any Boiling Crab location, the Burbank one is equally busy but is actually pretty big. I appreciate the sinks located outside of the restroom, because sometimes all you would like to do is wash your hands before and after a meal. My go to order is always 1 lb of shrimp, whole shabang triple x spice level: I also like to order Cajun fries medium spice. If you get corn in the XXX spice level, it can be overwhelming, so I'd recommend to separate it. Parking is free in Burbank and mostly easy in the structures. We had a problem once before but gave them another chance, but this last visit it wasn't the food that was bad it was the service. Her tone was terrible she was condescending, and when we even tried to suggest that maybe we got off on the wrong foot she wasn't having it (at one point she even said she could decide how much of everything we needed). I typically get the shrimp, white rice, Cajun fries, mussels and my partner gets the sha bang bang shrimp which is her favorite and they get it right every time. This place is delicious if you are into seafood. The sauce is spice-filled and yummy. Although I mostly order shrimp as my seafood choice, I love that they also have other seafood options such as crab, lobster, mussels and even crawfish (a seasonal item). They have a few sauce options but I would advise you to choose the "Whole Sha-Bang!" It is a combination of all the sauces together. My favorite dish is the typical pound of shrimp with the "Whole Sha-Bang" sauce and white rice on the side (you can put some of the sauce on the white rice) and BOOM, you will thank me later! haha Also, the service is great and the wait time, at least for the time we would go, has been quite reasonable. Finally, some would say to order for pick-up, but honestly, I would dine-in (prior to the quarantine) because the experience of having messy hands and digging in with a group of friends can lead to a good laugh. "Like don't mess with me because I'm busy eating and enjoying my seafood boil". They traditional seafood boils come with choice of seafood, 2 sausages, corn and potatoes. The meat was springy and there was a slightly sweet flavor you can only get when something isn't deep sixed for several months. Good job on that. The limes were very juicy which is good. Two lime halves were more than enough for a pound of shrimp. The hot sauce was quite good, slightly sweet finish to it. Con - half the menu was "market price." I get that for the high dollar items (Dungeness crab), but even the shrimp is market price? But then other menu items have prices. Then why not print any prices at all and then use a chalk board for the prices? The fried oysters looked sad and deflated. The already small basket was half empty. And the menu was misleading - didn't come with fries. We took one look, returned it (fries or no comp'ed fries), and ordered another pound of shrimp. The garlic butter sauce is getting weak, less butter than before. It's almost like they are trying to make this health food by adding less butter. What gives? Dinner for two was about $70. Bought crab legs for myself and it was $40.00+, it's just 2 long legs and extra sauce! I got the whole shebang sauce. Anyway I don't recommend this place. Sauce is overrated and overpriced! The sauce taste like powder of different spices! Yuck! I will go back to my favorite crab place which is in Santa Clarita called "Crab Mentality" which way better sauce and less expensive! The space is bigger than the one in Koreatown, the lines aren't as long, plus you can put your name down through the Yelp Waitlist so you don't have to wait around for your table. The food is just as good as the other location. The only thing that's really changed is the price. Back when I first discovered the BC, shrimp was $9.99 per lbs now it's about $14, king crab legs were $19 now they're at $29 per lbs. My favorites are still the cajun fries, fried oysters, oysters on the half shell, and shrimp or crab whole sha-bang mild. Parking is free and pretty easy. The main lot by the promenade is usually full. Just park in the lot next to Pampas Grill across the street. read more

When we arrived (Thursday at 6:30PM), we didn't have to wait and was seated pretty quickly. They had asked us if we wanted to sit inside or outside. I ordered a sweet tea, a half pound of shrimp with garlic sauce, and a lobster with lemon pepper sauce... non spicy for both of them since I have a sensitive tongue. -1 Star: My sis in law ordered the half pound of shrimp as well and they had a mix up and gave us the same bag with the non spicy sticker on both of them but she ordered spicy! We were trying to figure out which was what but the server just told us that one of them is supposed to be spicy and the other isn't. We were so hungry by that point that we just started eating. I didn't even get to ask my sister if hers was spicy or not because mine seemed fine. Once we all started eating, we all got quiet from just enjoying our food so much. Services is trash. We got seated, gave them our order, and didn't see them again till 15 mins later. They got all our orders wrong and forgot to give us our drinks. My order was given cold and another person in my group was given a wrong order. A manager was called and he came in with attitude. After I explain what happen and then asked for my order to be removed from my tab, he grabbed my bag of food and stormed off. I luckily realized they were now open, after leaving a movie; they've been open a week now. Crowds are there, but not what they WILL be soon, so go get you some short-line cajun while you can! This trip I was solo, so decided to try other menu items I had not ordered before, the Gumbo and the Wings. Order the Gumbo w rice and extra shrimp, so was a little surprised the cup wasn't very full and only had about 4 shrimp, but overall, it had good flavor and spice. Not the best ever, but good. I requested my wings "She-Bang" style like you can order the seafood doused in, but was told that was not an option. The dry-rub spice is the same as the Cajun fries, but in a more concentrated amount. I got the medium, and unless you like very hot flavors, this is more than enough spice to suit your needs. Today, Wednesday. I only got 6 shrimp for my half lbs order. My friend also had half a pound as well, but she had 11 shrimp. I brought up only 6 shrimp because it was so little. My friend didn't sit there and count her shrimp until after when I was done eating, waiting for her to finish. I brought it up to the sever how it was weird she had double the shrimp . She said it's 8-12 depending on size. She said I shouldn't have gotten 6. The manager came up and asked us what our problem was with the food, but it seemed like she was bothered by us as approaching the table. We didn't even ask 4 a manager. Anywayyyyy she was like, "You should have said something before you ate it." Lady, we didn't even know it wasn't supposed to be like that till later.
