They have small eats and plenty of coffee options including a wide range of matcha add ins. I got my usual latte and it was very good. It is served in a funky colored ceramic mug but that was ok. They told me they use Olympian beans from Washington and the flavor was good. Not too strong and relatively smooth. The milk in the latte was slightly over textured (more cappuccino than latte) but still tasty and she was able to produce a small amount of latte art which given the shape of the mug wasn't that easy. The staff is friendly and it is a nice place to come and either talk or do some quiet work. Would recommend if you are in the nearby area.

We ordered the Ube Cake online, and the slice hit the spot perfectly. The cake looked beautiful - nice tall layers of soft, moist purple ube sponge cake with thick white cream filling, a creamy yellow custard-style center, and finished with whipped cream on top. The ube flavor was well-balanced: that signature nutty, earthy sweetness without being overly sweet. I've had great home-cooked Filipino ube desserts before. While this is clearly a fusion bakery version, it still captured the comforting, celebratory vibe that ube brings to Filipino tables. It reminded me of the festive sweets you'd find at family gatherings or parties back in my wifes home country. The online ordering was convenient, but the pickup instructions could have been better. The pickup area is on the same side as the drink pickup, which caused a little confusion during a busy time. Service was otherwise fast and friendly, the bakery was clean and well-stocked, and prices are reasonable for the portion size. If you're in the Henderson/Las Vegas area and looking for a quick ube fix or any of their other Asian- and Filipino-inspired pastries, this spot is worth a stop. The ube cake was definitely the highlight for me. Would definitely grab another slice next time I'm craving something purple and delicious!

Think again. I got through the line quickly. Placed my order and watched everyone around me receive their food, dine and leave within 30 minutes all while I was still standing at the front waiting for 1 gluten free crepe with fruit. There was a sign up front that asked guests to be prepared to wait longer times so I really tried to be patient. I waited. After 40 minutes still standing up front I still had no crepe. I asked the cashier if she remembered me and she said my order would be ready momentarily. I took a closer look at the order and noticed that the gluten free crepe was buckwheat batter of which when I ordered they didn't make mention of this. Due to my allergies and sensitivity I had to wait again to speak with someone else who appeared to be managing, perhaps the owner. He claimed they make their own batter and brought out the bag of buckwheat flour. Then read on google the ingredients. I really thought a gluten free crepe was mainly made of alternative flour such as coconut flour--not here. I also pulled up this information however I did not want to take a risk. He told the cashier at the counter to issue me a refund and he turned back around to make more coffee orders. I overall felt like I had wasted my time here. I used to take my kids here and haven't been here since they remodeled and expanded. I was by myself and really just wanted something to eat but was not offered anything else. That part upset me the most. Then my refund took a week long. Really thought the refund should have been immediately. The cafe is really cute! I love the decor and feel in here but just really disappointed in this whole experience and not the best quality of customer service. Located on Horizon Ridge Parkway in Green Valley.

One other tip: sign up for First Watch emails. We received a buy-one-entrée, get-one-free offer by email and were able to use it on this visit. That's a pretty nice perk and made an already enjoyable meal an even better value. After clarifying the form of protein with the server, I said yes to this offering. I'm glad I did because it's a stunner. To start with, the bun is nice and soft. The pulled lamb is so tender and surprisingly free from gamy flavor, and whatever it's braised in does so much work making it irresistibly tasty. Then the tzatziki creaminess, tomato umaminess, and even the banana pepper tanginess really round out the flavors. Even the cucumber slices are perfectly portioned to add some crispiness and flavor. Fries come with the sandwich. I was hesitant since they were thick and also very brown. Fortunately, they were soft and fluffy inside, and there was enough crisp from the potato skins. They were actually a little undersalted too, but when I finally flagged down the server for some ketchup, I unlocked the code. The fries are just about perfect with a healthy amount of that Heinz goodness. I did get a bite of breakfast though. My friend's Ube Pancakes ($14.99) were cited as a dish to try on that top 100 list, and I can see why. There's plenty of ube flavor, and a good balance of a lightly crispy exterior and soft interior. The fresh mango and berries were a great touch, as was the whipped cream on the side. I'll have to have a full dish for myself one day. It wasn't as packed when we arrived as I was anticipating; I guess Sunday brunch invites a late-morning crowd though, since it started filling up. Music was top 40 stuff and not too loud. Really my only issue was the water not being ice cold. I've gotta come back to Pink Duck Kitchen since they have such a fun variety on their menu and they're one of the closest interesting restaurants to my side of town. If you live across town, it's actually drive-worthy for that lambwich alone.

It's not at all close to my house, so I don't get to visit very often. But when my husband and I are in this area we always try to stop by. We mostly do the drive-thru, but have been inside a couple of times. It's very clean and cozy. I believe our favorite drink is called the Campfire Mocha. It's so yummy. A mocha lightly spiced with cinnamon and cayenne pepper. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

This review is for the Brass Fork Located inside Sunset Station in Henderson, Nevada. We drive across town from Summerlin to have breakfast there. First let's address the service: We have found a difference between Morning and Evening shift personnel. Definitely five stars PLUS for Morning Shift beginning with Mr. Oscar the manager and his other front reception people including Ashley and Paris - there are a few other ladies that work there and at cashier, but I unfortunately don't know their names. Some of the servers that deserve positive mention include Jerri, Marina, and Dawn - they are pleasant they are efficient! The food - we are there for breakfast - We want well prepared eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns, and pancakes are our preference. Sometimes the bacon is a bit too greasy, but hey, bacon is greasy so patting it off with a napkin does the trick! The portions are generous and we enjoy every bite. Definitely recommended for breakfast time. Unfortunately we have not had the same experience in late afternoon/early dinnertime. So we stick to breakfast for the consistent outstanding experience! read more

My favorable review of Grand Café somehow was posted for Pasta Cucina when I was comparing the two! We used to enjoy Pasta Cucina--until they took away the breadsticks with the two great sauces---took away the salad or soup (included) with your meal and made them ala carte---AND raised the prices....Raising prices is common business. But taking away what pleased the customers and increasing the prices is bad marketing. They didn't even include a fork-full of pasta with my eggplant parm the last time we were there...also, we used to always have leftovers to take home--not anymore. The only reason they get ONE star is because their service has always been good. There are way too many negatives to come back here--we prefer a better deal and meal at Olive Garden--they don't charge you $9 for a mediocre salad. You blew it guys! read more

Update...2 years later and the suck continues..... 5:45pm, Thursday night and all I wanted was a quick bite. Mind you "the counter" had a total of 7 patrons sitting at it and the remainder of the restaurtant- half full. Up to the podium with my request for counter and THE MANAGER stated there would be a 15min wait. I pointed out that fact that counter was a ghost town, yet good ole manager gal held her ground because "the kitchen was running behind". It's ABSURD thinking like this leaves me shaking my head in total disbelief as I realize a "dullard-in-charge" will always win. At least, madam manager, allow the patron to wait seated INSIDE the restaurant where he or she can at least quench their thirst....and you have caputured the patron for their dinner dollars. read more

Had Breakfast solo (been here more then once as I am a local). Waitress took my order (ham steak and eggs) and it was brought piping hot so quickly I was amazed. She had the vegan skillet breakfast w/water. Served in a huge stainless steel platter, the portions are generous. Crispy brown hash browns, fresh pinto beans, cabbage coleslaw, grits and warm tortillas (in a steaming pot). The vegan flavors excited her "discriminating" palate!! I asked her how her dish was? She responded with a "when can we come back here?!" (See pic) I ordered the Hawaiian breakfast. Two eggs scrambled, Portuguese sausage, spam, a scoop of white rice, a scoop of macaroni salad, pineapple ring w/strawberry (see pic). Hawaiian style food is imitated....and rarely duplicated outside of Hawaii. For example, the best way to cook Portuguese sausage is to grill it on a gas grill like Liliha Bakery does!! The sausage is seared (not burnt, not dry) but sweating, with juicy flavors and beautiful black charred strips!!! OMG! My mouth is watering thinking about this!! Anyway...back to Peg's...here the sausage and spam are deep fried which creates a drier and as a bit tougher experience. The macaroni salad here is the best I've ever had "outside Hawaii." When you take a scoop of it into your mouth....the flavor and texture of the moist mayonnaise mixture will "titillate and explode!!" lol! No but seriously...for the braddahs & sistas....one taste and you will be "hooked." In general, not bad. The restaurant was clean. Tables wiped and not sticky. Decor was simple and progressive. (It works!). Layout of floor plan was modern. Service is great! The staff acknowledges you upon arrival. They seat you promptly. Our food order didn't take long to arrive at our table. Our waitress checked on us and refilled our drinks. Peg's is a "keeper ". We will be back for more!

I subbed the hash browns for the "seasoned tots" but would definitely skip as the tots were not seasoned except for maybe just salt. Not worth the upcharge when the hashbrowns tasted just fine. They have unlimited toast with the breakfasts, which is cool and they start you off with just one slice. Our friend ordered the club sandwich which looked really good and I will be excited to try it next time! Enjoy, even on the weekend!

Then add in the marble rye toast and you have a perfect breakfast combo. Today, I even had them add a little cheddar cheese on top of my veggie omelet, which was also a win. I've brought others with me here and every one of them has loved the breakfast so much. It's now my husband's favorite place for brunch too. There was a new face for me at the hostess/cashiers station and she was very welcoming, friendly and from Tulsa, OK, which makes perfect sense.

It opened in Downtown Henderson's Water Street District as a family-owned restaurant, and I like that there's some actual history and community involvement behind the place. The owners even stepped up during COVID and opened a food pantry to help local families. Inside, it has a definite old-school UNLV/Rebels kind of vibe mixed with classic diner charm. The menu also has a little Hawaiian flair sprinkled in, reflecting the owners' love for Hawaii, with things like loco moco, an island breakfast and Huli-Huli chicken alongside the traditional diner favorites. This was my second visit, and the food has been very good both times. Today I had an egg-white veggie omelet and added chicken. It was really tasty, loaded with vegetables and cooked well. On my first visit I had the tuna sandwich, which is something restaurants manage to screw up surprisingly often, but theirs was delicious. My buddy ordered a double cheeseburger and fries, and the burger looked amazing. I got to steal a few fries and can confirm those were very good too. One of the best parts of Pacific Diner is the staff. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant, personable and genuinely fun to talk to. They happily answered our questions and had that friendly, caring personality you hope to find in a neighborhood diner. Prices are also very reasonable, especially compared with what breakfast and lunch cost at a lot of places these days. The one thing to be aware of is parking. This part of Downtown Henderson can get busy, and there are several nearby lots where you are NOT allowed to park unless you're visiting those particular businesses, with towing signs posted. If the street spaces immediately around the diner are full, just plan on spending a few minutes looking for a legal spot nearby. Overall, Pacific Diner has tasty food, good prices, genuinely friendly service and a lot more personality than your average breakfast place. We'll definitely be back again.

I was TOTALLY wrong. Substitute entryway the decor side was very cozy and the service was friendly and efficient. My boyfriend got the chicken fried steak and I ordered the southwest brisket hash. The country fried steak was absolute perfection! The gravy wasn't too heavy. It was perfectly crisp and the potatoes were delicious. I'll be getting this next time for sure. My brisket was yummy. I should've ordered the tortillas instead of the toast. It was so flavorful. I can't believe I never knew about this place, but we will be back for sure!

The rest in our group had a great time and enjoyed their food as well. We did have a little trouble getting refills (maybe it was break time) but overall we had a good experience.
