Sociedad is divided into three main areas...front, back and side all with different purposes. The front area looks primarily like a bar with side seating. You likely are in this section for a Tequila tasting or drink with conversation. The back room was more like a concert-like area with an open ceiling. You literally could see the stars from this section of the restaurant. I listened to some rhythm and blues and find the band to be smooth and sexy. However, my friends were in the last section, where a DJ was spinning Latin tunes. While it was fun to see my friends, it was totally slow boogie. The songs lasted too long, and we only heard a few songs that were familiar. I ordered a frozen Margarita, but they were out of Margarita. I have never been to a Mexican food restaurant that did not serve Margaritas. So, I then ordered some guacamole and chips, which I shared with my friends.
