I sat outside for breakfast/brunch and it was hot but I enjoyed myself. The service staff were nice and prompt. I ordered the breakfast chorizo tacos and they were delicious, definitely a great option here. I would come back again.

If you're near downtown Delray Beach and want a breakfast spot that gets everything right, The Bridge Cafe is an easy pick. The outdoor seating alone makes it worth the visit. It's bright, comfortable, and a great place to slow down with a cup of coffee while you wait for your food. But the real star is the corned beef hash. They slow cook the corned beef for hours, and you can taste the payoff in every bite. It's incredibly tender, with just the right amount of crisp on the edges, and the potatoes tie it all together without feeling heavy. It's one of those dishes where you can tell someone in the kitchen actually cares. Paired with the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff, The Bridge Cafe nails the kind of breakfast experience you want to tell people about. If corned beef hash is your go-to, this place will probably ruin you for everywhere else. I had my toddler with me and the staff was super sweet and attentive. No eye rolls about a baby eating there which I love.

My friend and I finally found time to do a weekday brunch together and we chose the perfect place! We decided the bridge cafe was calling our names after going several times before. We were beyond excited for our meal. We were able to snag a table outside since it was week day and wasn't too busy at the time we went and our waiter came over to take our drink order immediately. We decided to share a sangria pitcher which was delicious and so refreshing and strong enough to make a fun day out of it. We split the Philly steak sandwich and French toast which both were amazing and had so much flavor! We loved the softness of the French toast and the seasoning on the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. I ended the meal with an oat milk latte which hit the spot! Definitely recommend if you're in the area! The overall vibe of the restaurant was definitely brunch vibes and great for a day date or outing with the family.

Corned Beef Hash. Big juicy chunks of corned beef. Sunny side up egg atop the hash brought it all together.

CORNED BEEF HASH for the win! If you been looking for the best in Delray Beach, this is it, hands down. The chef's have crafted the best of peppers, onions, corned beef to create a tasty bite. Pet friendly, outdoor seating, the staff are very attentive and friendly. The vibe is relaxed at least at 8am. I'll be back!

The Bridge Cafe is a small spot with big flavor! My friend and I stopped by on our morning walk and had the pretty patio to ourselves. I loved my avocado toast with eggs and she enjoyed her breakfast wrap. Some of the tastiest avocado toast I've had! We thought the outdoor atmosphere was peaceful and there was a nice breeze. Our server was friendly and chatty. I'll definitely be back!

The sticky bun was ooey and gooey and delicious. The kiss my grits with shrimp was scrumptious. Perfect grits and really tasty shrimp. The strata was perfectly cooked as well. Very cozy outside area with live music and friendly staff. A great spot for brunch. Oh and the coffee options were on point as well.

Exactly the ambiance we were looking for with the live music and outdoor seating. The food was delicious and the waitress was very friendly. We both ordered the same egg white wrap. I got cheese grits (extra $1 for cheese) and my husband got fruit. The only complaint is the hostess/owner had an attitude. He asked if we had a reservation and we said No. He rolled his eyes and said I'll see if I can squeeze you in. He finds us a table (amongst a few available) and sits us down. Within 10 mins... 9 tables were free and were never filled lol SO not sure why he was so disgruntled. Even our waitress was as like would you the check, no rush, we are slow. We will still come back despite his lack of communication skills

A tiny cafe in Delray Beach, my eight-year-old daughter and I met a friend and colleague here for lunch. Going on a Thursday around noon in March, we got a table right away. (There's only outdoor seating with a restroom in the kitchen.) The menu is big. My daughter and I split the breakfast fondue and the crab cake. Both were good! The fondue comes with strawberries, pineapple, and bits of waffle and pancakes with Nutella as a dipping sauce.

Came after the brunch rush....which was perfect. Sat quirky, ordered quickly, food came out in adequate time. BOGO mimosas (many flavors)....yes please! Fresh OJ...even better. The grits were really good....just a little butter and perfection! Crunchy tots and not soggy. For the strata, everything was baked into the bread...quiche style. My spouse ordered the red white and blue stuffed French toast and indicated they were well cooked and flavorful. I had a small piece and I tasted bits of cinnamon. Definitely something I would order myself. The seating is outdoor with plenty of fans circulating. The single pancake also had the red white and blue topping which was very tasty. The pancake alone was soft and fluffy. Will return to try other non-breakfast items.

Cute small breakfast lunch place in downtown delray. Only outdoor seating as the small kitchen is used for indoor. Located in an alleyway seating with some tables next to a parking lot which is still fine. Simple but ample menu. Good service and relaxing vibe.

Enjoyed a great breakfast at The Bridge Cafe. Nice atmosphere with a breeze and plenty of dams to circulate the air on a hot morning. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive throughout the meal. I'll just get right to it...you can't go here and not try the "Damn Sticky Bun" ...yes, that's actually the name of it and I don't have photos because we ate it so quickly. This is worth the trip alone and absolutely will NOT disappoint. Three of us dined that morning and we all loved the food. I ordered the South Street Omelet...the eggs were fluffy and all of the ingredients appear to have been freshly prepared. I chose the Grits as my side dish and I judge most restaurants on their ability to deliver quality grits...A+, they were delicious. The others in our group ordered the Chorizo Breakfast Tacos and the Good Morning Wrap Up. There was a little more time to grab pictures of those meals as we were still busy savoring the Damn Sticky Bun. I checked out the rest of the restaurant, bathroom, and kitchen...all extremely clean! So, if you're looking for an enjoyable spot to grab breakfast, I'll vouch for The Bridge Cafe!

Such a cute little spot right on the Ave in Delray. The sticky bun topping was good but it was a little dry on the inside. The avocado toast was great, the toast was really fluffy which was interesting for an avocado toast. The French toast was thick and fluffy but lacked a little bit of flavor (but, we ordered it plain instead of with the flavor of the week, so I can imagine it being much more flavorful with that). The chicken and waffles were incredible. The chorizo tacos were nice, but I wish the tortillas were a bit softer, as it was a little difficult to eat (the tortillas were somewhat in between a soft and hard shell, kind of chewy). The prices are very fair and the coffee is great. We will be back!

This is such a cute brunch spot with outside dining only! I made a reservation for a Sunday at 11:15. We were seated right away. Plenty of people came by without reservations, and the wait was around 45 min, so I do recommend making reservations ahead of time. I had the breakfast fondue, and not only was it delicious, but it was fun! The dipping sauce is a thinned out Nutella, and it's served with cut up waffles (YUM!), pancake bites and fruit. My mom had over easy eggs with bacon, chicken sausage and tots. Pretty standard, but still delicious.

Hubs and I have been trying out spots with outdoor seating during Covid-19. We realllllly enjoyed Over the Bridge Cafe for breakfast/brunch. Portion sizes are perfect, cozy outdoor (spaced out) seating. Our waitress was so nice. Strawberry mimosa is where it is at! Hubs had the Surfboard which was delicious, I had the wrap which was perfect with the home fries. Great location in Delray, take a nice walk afterward (or before). Came here after work one morning for breakfast/brunch. We were seated fast in the breezeway. It was cute and weather wasn't too hot so it was ok. A lady with two dogs was seated next to us. During our whole meal her dogs were all over the place, I love dogs but no one from the restaurant said a thing to her, several people nearly tripped over them because they were wild. It was frustrating because we couldn't relax. As for food I had the Frenchman with tater tots. The sandwich was ham with Brie and spinach, the spinach was yellowing and tasted bad so I took it off, the tater tots were over fried and saturated in oil. The best part of my meal was the Bloody Mary, though the garnish was skimpy, just a slice of lemon and lime, but it was spicy enough. Overall it wasn't what I was hoping for, I would try it again, in case this was a one off. Location is perfect! read more

Sunday morning a friend and I were looking for a new place to eat breakfast and we ran across Over the Bridge Café on Atlantic Avenue. The place was pretty small but it had that nice trendy downtown Delray vibe. Over the Bridge Café only has outside tables located next to the building in a breezeway. The weather was nice with a cool breeze so sitting outside was perfect. Overall, it was a pleasant setting. The location right on Atlantic is an additional bonus. For my meal I ordered the French Toast Duo. The menu described it as "Challah French Toast stuffed with sweet cream cheese topped with a Florida citrus-honey strawberry compote & double dipped croissant creme brulee French toast with maple syrup and vanilla ice cream." It sounded great and I expected something large and decadent (especially for the $12 price) but, unfortunately, only got something that was decent. First off, I thought the portion size was pretty limited. Usually, when you order something like French toast you expect to get pretty stuffed. That wasn't the case here. The French toast slices were kind of small and I was still hungry after I finished. Second, I don't think there was a whole lot of "citrus-honey strawberry compote" or "vanilla ice cream" on the French toast. There was some but most of the topping was just whipped cream. I do want to say that the French Toast Duo wasn't terrible but it just wasn't as good as I had hoped it would be. The service was good. We were seated quickly and our waitress took our order efficiently. She also came around and refilled our coffee (which was very good). Overall, this was a decent experience but I thought the food could have been better and more of it. Based on the pleasant setting and its location, I would like to come back to Over the Bridge Café on another morning and try one of their other breakfast offerings. read more

I really have no idea how this place has earned 4.5 stars. Usually my socks are blown off with such ratings, but we were sorely disappointed. Maybe the majority of the raters are influenced by the bottomless mimosas? Which can be delicious, and more flavors than I have ever seen. But the food...was just good. MEH. Not worth 4.5 stars, and for the first time in a LONG time, I had to return one of their "specials," the vday stuffed French toast was supposed to be stuffed with cherry PIE filling when it was actually pink-tinged yogurt texture with one (likely) maraschino cherry. When complained to the server she said, "Well it is supposed to have cherries, it's pie. I will get my manager." The customer service was MEH and nothing upscale. *The bathroom: only ONE which to stand in line you have to stand in kitchen! NOT clean. And I spotted 3 kitchen prep/chef NOT wearing masks or at least halfway on. So basically if they have Covid, so do we! UGH. read more

Met up with my cousin for brunch. Great music and outdoor dining atmosphere. I wish I had snapped a pic of his short rib hash which was AMAZING! I had the sunrise crab cake- essentially a Benedict with real and generous ratio of crab to poached egg a d hollandaise. We made reservations for a Saturday at noon and got to sit out by the music. We all decided on the bottomless mimosas which they have so many flavors of & they were all yummy. My favorite was mango & pineapple. We then ordered the breakfast fondue with cream cheese & Nutella. Nutella was definitely the favorite but it reminded me more of a hot chocolate flavor than Nutella (still AMAZING!). & then the breakfast wrap was the perfect size with the best sweet potato tots. First time here. No reservation, 15 minute wait for a table of two. $4 valet in the back of the restaurant. Food was amazing. I had the French toast duo. My lady had the Mac and Cheese. My boyfriend and I ate here twice during a "staycation" and really loved it. They have a broad menu with classic brunch items and so more inventive ones. Over our two visits, we had coffee, avocado bruschetta toast, the good morning wake up wrap, the lemon ricotta pancakes, and the NY style bacon, egg, and cheese. Sadly this restaurant has gone from a go-to to no-go again. We used to look forward to to having breakfast here and have done so many times since it opened. Unfortunately they have lost their edge with both food and service. Last visit (just a few weeks ago) we tried the Short Rib Hash which was watery, presented poorly making it unappetizing and did not taste good at all. The other meals were just okay but the service was good. Today was a completely different story in that we were nicely greeted and seated right away. The. We waited and waited while workers were just standing around basically ignoring the patrons. After 10 minutes we asked the hostess for coffee and she kindly brought it, when we asked to order she said we needed a waitress, okay. When the waitress finally came by and asked what we wanted to drink, I politely shared that we had coffee coming. She then rudely told us that she could not serve us since someone else was brining coffee and immediately walked away. Seats were uncomfortable and service was ok. Food was average and we were most disappointed with the reaction of the server when we told them the potatoes with sautéed onions were more like onions with sautéed potatoes. We asked her to get a new order without onions and she said we should have told her to do that before ...what!?!? Like we knew the home fries would be 90% onions!!?!? Rude!!! Cute open air cafe just at the foot of a bridge in Delray...hence the name. We showed up at 10:15 am, no reservations and the wait was only 20-30 minutes. We weren't starving so we decided to hang. As we waited, we decided to walk over the bridge and back and took in the surrounding historic neighborhood with beautifully decorated homes and yards. When we were seated at our table there was a digital menu available. The menu has a wonderful array of options available!About 10 minutes, maybe longer had passed until our waiter finally came to the table to take our order. (I couldn't tell you if this is a common occurrence considering this was our first dining experience here). We placed our drink and food order at the same time and the waiter assured us that the food would be out "in a few minutes". Our drinks came immediately and our meal was delivered to our table in about 10 minutes and the food was pretty good (see photos). You MUST try the pecan cinnamon bun-roll... an entire meal and day's caloric intake in just one dish.. warm and soft and sweet and like crack.. you want another. Staff is quick to get to you and serve up some fine quality breakfast and brunch items. We sat in their outdoor back area, which was a little tight but there is more outdoor seating out front, if you prefer. Thank you YELP! We happened across OTBC during an art show today thanks to Yelp. Rarely would I go to a place with just 20 reviews but every one was 5 stars so we gave them a shot and we're not disappointed. We started with their juice smoothies - terrific with owner Dan's fresh juice concoction. These aren't your typical smoothies, they taste very fresh with plenty of fruit and are nice and light. On to entrees my son had the ABC Wrap again fresh and tasty and my daughter had the Orange Grilled Chicken Caesar. She said her salad was delicious and it had plenty of chicken on top. My wife I tried the Sunrise Crab Cake - easily the best crab cakes I've ever had. Dan's twist here is using citrus juice, light sauce and a thin over easy egg on top all resting on a bed of lettuce. The taste combination was right on and it was perfectly cooked. This is a new place under 2 months old with incredible personal attention. Really disappointed in their customer service. I searched their cafe on Apple Maps, to which it led me to reserve through Yelp. I made the reservation for my mother and I and in the notes wrote "inside seating only , elderly mother". Closed the app and was happy that was so simple. When we got to the cafe, we were told it is outside only. We tried a 4-top that was a bit far from the fan. I asked to move to the OTHER 4-top to be closer to the fan and the server said it was reserved. I asked "it's still a 4-top, you can't move us?" She said i don't know you have to talk to the hostess, she sat you here and not there. We decided to just leave because it was honestly HOT. I stopped at the hostess and asked her if she is able to see notes on the reservation. And she said yes. I told her next time you see a note to sit inside you should call people to let them know so they can plan their day. The server and hostess's response was to argue with us. I got an iced coffee which I was craving really bad and it even had free refills, love that. My mom got the bacon egg and cheese sandwich entree option which she chose the tots with instead of the breakfast potatoes and I got the avocado toast with bruschetta. She enjoyed her meal a lot! I tried a few tots and they were tasty. My avo toast was good (more of a sandwich), I'm glad I asked for the bruschetta on the side or I'm sure it would have gotten soggy quick! This place was great! We made reservations and brought our two dogs. I was worried we would have to wait a while because there was a line. They got us seated immediately. The waiter we had was amazing, I wish I could remember his name, but really our encounter with every staff member here was so pleasant. Usually these beach type places the food tends to be whatever but everything we got was amazing! We ended up getting 3 of the more Popular dishes; avocado bruschetta, crab cakes and breakfast burger and splitting them. All were great. I am Actually wishing I had left overs as I write this. I am so glad we finally found a place close to the water we can bring our family when they visit that actually serves good food. Unfortunately, on our visit we were impacted by some WiFi issues when splitting the check and had to wait a long time for our checks to come back to us. Which is expected with a large group, but we waited over an hour after we had finished eating to close out. Not to mention while waiting on our checks for this amount of time the fire alarm had gone off and there was not much communicated about what was going on and no one really said anything other than "we don't know what's going on either". Which is kind of scary. I understand that some do these things are circumstantial but when things like this happen at a nicer place, I usually expect to be greeted and informed by the manager. Not a terrible experience but definitely turned a birthday brunch into a bit of a frustrating event. Would definitely return to Hampton Social in the future but not itching to go back.

The espresso is rich and smooth, the ice cream is just right, and together they disappear faster than I'd like to admit. Honestly, the only downside is that the affogato keeps "vanishing" before I can pretend I'm pacing myself. If you're in Boca and want something simple and genuinely good, this place is an easy pick. They have a nice offering also of food and baked goods. The location in Delray beach is also another favorite. Can't wait to come back.

It is a casual spot for breakfast or lunch. Definitely has the Delray Beach charm. It is located across from the park and inter coastal so you can walk around after your meal. The seating is all outside. I ordered an iced coffee and it was average. This place could use some nice coffee, which would add to the café feel. The mushroom breakfast flatbread was delicious and light. The eggs were perfectly cooked. It is a mix of a savory and sweet breakfast. The balsamic glaze adds a nice sweetness and acidity to the dish. Make sure you ask for plates because it can get messy. We also got the brunch burger which was heavy so if you're planning on drinking for the day or are starving from the wait this is what you want to order. The only downside to the burger was the bun did not hold up well and we had to end up eating it with a knife and fork. read more

Made a reservation for 1230. Arrived at 1225 and "only" tables were available on the street (literally right next to the curb on Atlantic Ave). We declined and asked if we could have another table. Said "it'll be an hour". We said nope and came to Deck 84. When we walked by the patio, tons of tables open. This isn't the first time this has happened so no more Bridge Cafe chances for us. Today, February 17th, 2018, I finally got to go to Over the Bridge Cafe. Well let me tell you, it was fantastic. This place deserves more than 5 stars. The place is a little quaint place on Atlantic Avenue in Downtown Delray. The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD. The people, from the kitchen to the waitress's are fantastic. They even have live music.
