The food was great! Freshness speaks for itself. Not to mention we we're seeking a halal based menu other than Mediterranean traditional stuff. My husband was on board when he heard burgers and phily steaks. Not to mention the decor of the place was nice and loungy which was totally unexpected even from the name . Customer service was great, waiting took his time to explain details of certain foods, showed us awesome pics of the shakes and all. The BL also has a pool table which adds an extra touch. Overall great food, ambiance and service. We will be back esp knowing we can have halal food at a reasonable price! On another note Ignore the construction site and it's mess next door. If you really like salt go here. This is probably the saltiest Burger I've ever gotten. It should have been called a bullion Burger. think about a burger that may have come out of the vending machine and then put a lot of salt on it. Fries were ok. Also super salty even for fries. maybe I just got a salty patch or something but there's no way I would give this place four or five stars. It's pretty hard to screw a burger and fries. read more

My husband and I recently started eating halal ( kosher) meat and let me tell you, it was hard. We missed our good spots in the city and the burbs. We randomly saw this spot and gave it a try. The "baba" burger is so good. The meat grade is amazing and always consistent. The philly dream is a DREAM! My kids love the fries and grill cheese sandwich. This is our cheat day spot!! (Our kids also have cheat days ) If you are craving a burger and want something different, this is the ultimate burger spot. In and out burger got nothing on this The staff is also very nice, the young guy at the desk is always so helpful and friendly. I feel comfortable bringing my kids here. I would give this place an overall 3 and half stars.This is decent Halal burger joint in Naperville. We enjoyed our cheeseburgers with curly fries last weekend.The burgers were tasty and customized as we ordered. Everything seemed clean and tidy. A few criticisms: - The decor in the place needs some major updates. Maybe get rid of the couches that takes up too much space and isn't really appropriate for a burger joint, instead add some booths. - The entrance also needs some work as well. - Please keep the bathroom cleaned at all time. Truth be told, I've had tastier burgers at Wendy's and McDonald's. Also more sizable meat patties. The burger seemed to be more like a frozen one. Was well under seasoned as well. Curly fries were meh. Best part of the meal was what seemed like in house made ranch. Won't be returning. read more

I rarely give places 5 stars, but this place was worth the 30 mile trip all the way from the city. I got the baba burger: beef patty, gyro meat, beef bacon, pepper jack cheese, BBQ sauce, onion ring all between a brioche bun. So damn good, I regret not ordering another. The burger came with curly fries, which were fried to perfection. The staff were extremely nice. I came here to break my fast during Ramadan and they offered dates at the front for free. They also had a corner to pray in. Will definitely be returning soon to try the rest of the menu read more

Great spot for burgers and curly fries. It's in the same plaza as Patel brother. I got the mushroom Swiss with the curly fries and a soda total around $9 something with tax. It's a little divey causal fast food but the burgers are delicious. Patties sit between a brioche bun with all its juicy trimmings. We liked it and would recommend this place for lunch. read more

I wanted a good burger. After a while you get tired of the fast food joints and just want a better burger. I decided to look up a place close by on yelp and found Burger Life. It's a small family owned place located in a strip mall not to far from Patel Brothers. Walking in you can see it's not a franchise or a chain restaurant but that's what I was looking for. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and a hello. The staff was very nice. My order was made to go and was ready in a timely manner. I am home now and I am eating exactly what I was looking for... a better burger! Its fresh, seasoned perfectly and the fries are great as well. We thought that being close to numerous desi places, it would be a good place to try but boy we were wrong. We ordered a veggie burger and a zinger chicken. While the veggie burger was plain smashed boiled potatoes, it was edible, but the chicken patty was literally like chewing rubber. You couldn't pay me to eat that. read more

The food is good there is no complaint about that part. I'm giving this spot 1 star due to sanitation purposes. Tables aren't wiped down nor is the ketchup bottles or napkin holder. The bathroom is by far the tipping iceberg for me. That does say a lot to me because if the place itself isn't clean what's going on in the actual kitchen. I did speak to someone in charger and excuse was a rush from last night. This location opens at 11 am I visited at 3pm that's more then enough time to clean up after a big rush. This place needs to clean up because again the food is great but the environment itself is dirty. read more

Had the baba burger. Delicious. Made it a meal and got curly fries like I was at comiskey park! Delicious. Their drinks come in soda cans or bottles, none of that fountain drink syrup trash. This business just started so there is room for improvement. Since it's a lounge, you grab a seat first, a waiter takes your order, and brings it to you. Problem with that is that the table could be dirty from the previous patrons. This is only a small inconvenience. Burgers were legit. Check out the pics. Portion was right. Hit the spot. nvm this place sucks. i gave it 5 stars by accident. i asked for no cheese and make it spicy and they made it extra cheesy with extra ketchup. the chreseburger they did it to. at least mcdonalds answers special requests such as no tarter sauce, theyll take it out every time, this place left ketchup and goat piss ooops i mean cheese after i begged them not to. for exta special needs children, NO THEY DID NO MAKE IT SPICY AND GAVE ME LESS FRIES THAN THE FIRST TIME I VISITED SO GOOD LUCK. finally done vommiting out the cheese, damn that sucked goat balls. Food- 5/5 I ordered the Baba Burger and it was AWESOME! The taste just fills your mouth. The burger also has to patties which is super. Got this burger for $9 which is kind of expensive but well worth it. My friend got the gyro wrap and said it was very good too. Service/Vibes-4/5 Took a while for the burger and wrap to come out. If my nephew didn't vouch for this place I probably would never have gone in. The decor needs work for sure and we waited a bit long for our food to come out, but wow was it worth it!! The Burger Lounge is terrible!!! I would give it 0 stars if I could. Yelp has never let me down as much as it did with this place. First, the restaurant is filthy! The menus are so dirty I had to go up to the reception stand and ask for cleaner menu so I could actually read it. This clue should have made us leave. I was there with my mom & we both noticed how dirty it was. The tables are also very beat up & even the salt shaker & napkin holder needed cleaning. The guy who greeted us made us place our order at the reception stand... no full waiter service. He did bring our food out at which point I mentioned we didn't have silverware. His response was to point toward the reception stand & said we needed to get it ourselves. It turns out it was plastic utensils and they were out of the knives. The guy says he'll get some from the back, when he comes out he just fills the holder and doesn't bring them to our table. Unbelievable! The burgers were cooked well done & the beef was flavorless. The curly fries tasted like Ore-Ida frozen fries. Compared to all the other gourmet burger restaurants opening around the western suburbs the Burger Lounge is a joke! We ordered couple of burger sandwiches. Our total bill was $60. Our sandwiches were not good atall. The food wasn't cooked properly. My chicken sandwich had no taste and flavor. Burger Lounge was not what I expected.  I was expecting a bit more of an upscale Burger Local kind of feel, but that's not what this hidden strip mall place was. We thought this was a sit down and be served restaurant. Someone brought us menus to peruse. Then we were ignored, even though we were the only ones waiting.  Apparently, we were supposed to go to the counter to order. Okay. Eventually someone took our order at the table. We're new here, so maybe a little more communication from the staff would help. The burgers were decent.  Nice sized, cooked well, decent toppings and bun.  The seasoned fries were an exact fascimile of Arby's curly fries. So if that's your thing, you'll be happy.  3 stars for the food.  Not bad, but nothing special. The restaurant itself, though, needs to be cleaned.  There was debris strewn behind the counter. The pool table area had empty Coke cans and other leftover items about.  There was no one else in the place, so why wasn't this area being cleaned? The parking lot was sketchy and uninviting to say the least. A few folks there watching sports on the TV rolled right up to the curb in front of the entrance instead of parking in marked spots. Come on now. The restaurant staff should let them know.   The Burger Lounge could have a decent concept on its hands, but it's nowhere I want to return to with my family if it remains in such unkempt condition. Son had been asking to go here for the past few weeks so we finally went. I had the Mallick Burger which came topped with and egg and it was excellent. My son had the Harambe Burger which had every meat possible and he loved it. My wife had the Philly but thought it had too much mayo and no flavor. I got to finish it for her.
