I've had this place bookmarked for quite a while. When I finally stopped by a month ago, they were closed down.... (floor remodeling, I see now). Went there today and had the Baba burger. A 5-star review does not give this burger justice. I was honestly skeptical because I really don't like super tall giant burger sandwiches; I feel it takes away from the true burger. Too many other better options in the area for me to return as its not close to my office. I drove out this way due to good Yelp reviews but this was my experience: Atmosphere - 0 Stars In the far back of a beat up strip mall with a rundown parking lot. You walk in and the place feels like the tables were arranged a few minutes in whatever way felt best. They have a cabinet cooler with softdrinks and it was 15% full. Not a good look at all. There was a single pepsi on a shelf for example - no Coke, but they had diet coke! Also they have a pool table, but if you aren't serving alcohol, why would anyone come here to hang out? Unless this place is marketed to teens? Food - 3 stars Burger was totally fine, nothing wrong with it. Just nothing special at all that would make me choose this over any other burger place around. Curly fries were good but needed more seasoning. Service - 3 stars Lady at counter was timid but very nice. Explained the process to us, which is odd. You order at the counter, sit down, get your food delivered, then go back up to pay- except you arent delivered a check. they just go off of what you had, which they wrote down on a piece of paper. strange, but it worked and service was fairly timely. we were only people in restaurant and our burgers came up in a decent amount of time. Overall, it was OK and I urge folks on the fence to at least try it - but I wont be back as I work near the restaurant mecca of freedom plaza so I have too many better options. read more

There are a ton of Burger options in the area. However, this is by far the best. When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly staff and an extremely clean, warm, and welcoming atmosphere. The seating is nice and you can tell that they are dedicated to the lounge portion of their name. After ordering we have a pleasantly short [but not too short] wait for our food. When it arrived, I was shocked to see a burger that looked like it was out of an advertisement. Then I took a bite and found it to be even better than it looked. I got a burger with gyro meat on it, and a side of onion rings and their zinger sauce. All of this had made my night. The only complaint that I have is that the burger is a little more drippy and sloppy than I would like. However, thus had been my best burger experience in months. Food is at times quite good, and other times poor. In particular I've had cold food served to me twice (while dining in). The same was experienced by two of my relatives when they dined in. Worse yet is the customer service. Once when I dined in, I complained about the cold food to the man behind the counter, to which he shrugged and said sorry. That was it. Had another experience with poor customer service today when I ordered for pickup. They gave me my food in a bag, but they forgot to include the drink. After I reached home and noticed that, I called them to inform, to which they responded, "You should have grabbed the drink yourself." ????? You don't include the drink then basically tell me that it's my fault for not grabbing it? Normally, you'd include the entire meal order in the pickup bag, and if there is any thing I need to grab, you should at least inform me. Most annoying was that on the phone call, though the drink is probably 50 cents, instead of apologizing he decided to argue and imply that we're at fault for not grabbing the drink. I've been here a few times already and the food has always been consistent. Awesome burgers, very flavorful. I've had a few different burgers with gyros and beef bacon. You can actually taste the different flavor of the different meats. Make it a meal and try their curly fries which are awesome!!! Great staff and friendly service. This establishment pays for yelp to bump up its rating, and the majority of these reviews are from family members and friends of the owner. Let me explain my experience: The restaurant is tucked into a dusty corner of an abandoned mega stripmall. There is one tenant selling cultural goods next door and a mechanic. The rest of the area is populated by empty crumbling asphalt and abandoned rental trucks. Upon finding the difficult to locate entrance, I thought I was entering a mosque or a church. Not because several people were praying on carpets, but because the sign is hard to see and the glass in front of the entrance is covered in a variety of advertisments for places of worship. When I entered, it was a homogeneous group of women with children, no food in front of them clearly looking perturbed. When I noticed they had numbers on their tables as if waiting for food, and no menus present at register, it clicked. Everyone but two young boys (looking too young to legally work) were praying. That's cool, nothing that bothers me about that. When the frazzled boys came to the register to apologize and disappear into the back, I bailed. I wasn't uncomfortable being the only white person there, but I was uncomfortable seeing the young boys working touch the register with cooking gloves, the walls and floor dirty, and a lack of a menu on the wall or even in paper form. This place was a mess, staff unorganized, menu non-existant and reviews seemingly fake. Honestly it reminded me of a pizza place down the street in Chicago that ended up being a front for organized crime. At least people were in the restaurant. read more

A friend suggested us to try out this place. So we decided to give it a shot. First and foremost it's a 100% halal place so people like me with the restriction you are in for a treat. I wasn't expecting much but the burgers did give me a pleasant surprise!! The meat was really juicy and they were decently proportioned. We tried the chicken zinger, the Baba burger and the Cheese Burger. The Baba burger is something to try !! Overall a wonderful place for halal foodies and a more than average place for the rest!! The restaurant is definitely a good one. The ambiance alone can define the restaurant as one of the good restaurants in the area. The interior of the restaurant is lovely. It is modern. It is clean and spacious. It is also bright and the ambiance was just really nice, to the point that it feels like a fancy restaurant. The service is very friendly and accommodating. The staff behind the counter were so nice and had a good recommendation for us because it was our first time. It is a burger restaurant that serves unique burgers, sandwiches, and other foods. My burger was specifically their zinger burger, which is basically their classic fried chicken sandwich. It tastes delicious. Usually have good food, but the service is always terrible.. they don't care about any type of problems or concerns that people have. We had rotten lettuce in our burgers. They're so overpriced and they don't care that someone could literally die from the nasty rotten lettuce that they put in our 3 out of 5 burgers. They should definitely be concerned after the lettuce outbreak that was going on earlier this year, won't be surprised if the health department shuts them down... called them to explain the problem and they started talking about they're own issues and simply didn't care. I personally like this restaurant, especially their burgers, but I did not really expect the experience I had the last time I visited the restaurant. The whole place is clean as always. It was not too busy, and I was able to order quickly. I ordered at the counter and the staff were seriously not friendly or nice. It was like I placed my order, paid, and that was it. I was just expecting a simple greeting or acknowledgement, just like something a customer would get while ordering or buying something. I did not bother myself with that and I was glad that I ordered food for takeout. It was quick. I only ordered a cheeseburger and fries, and both were really lukewarm, even though it was just minutes after I bought them. I like their burgers, but not the one I had recently. It didn't taste great and was definitely lacking in that part. The fries were so soggy. It's a good thing they were well-seasoned, and I was still able to finish them. We usually like eating here, burgers are great most of the time. Yesterday, we ordered delivery of three burgers and one order of fries. Patties were flattened and over cooked. The cheese was melted so much it burned and crisped up the sides. The buns were also burned on the edges where toasted. To top it off, one of the patties still had the paper separator stuck on it. Took a lot of work to bite and chew the plain cheeseburger. Like the other reviews said, unless the burger is masked with toppings and sauces, you're probably not going to enjoy it. This place needs interior cosmetic help. Chipped paint, tables were dirty, every single light flickered visible to the eye. Open wiring by the bathrooms. Food was good, but judging by how clean the dining room was I don't want to know what's in the back. I had the Baba burger which I did enjoy however. It is a cheese burger with pepper jack, onion ring, topped with a spicy gyro, Beef Bacon and BBQ sauce. The meat could have been juicer though they are thin patties. This burger has a lot of potential. The fries are curley fries which I am not a fan of. I think they are lacking big in that department. Also you grab your can of soda out of a cooler... I would avoid this place at all costs. Cleanliness and customer service needs some serious work. Entire restaurant is full of garbage especially behind the counter. The place looks like it hasn't been mopped in months. Tables are also very greasy which haven't been cleaned in months. I can only Imagine how it looks in the kitchen. The other thing I want to point out is once you enter the restaurant their is no waiter to greet you. You will end up standing like idiots for 15 minutes before given a table and then wait another 30 minutes to get the menus. The people running this place need some serious training. read more
