Great new restaurant downtown Wheaton. Great selection of beers and mixers, a well trained, friendly staff and a cozy, relaxed environment. They were out of the bean burger, to my disappointment so I tried the salmon. It was delicious! Sandwiches come with fries. The burgers looked really good - my husband loved his. Extremely long wait time due to "hot and new" status, over 80 minutes. Really good smoked Manhattan cocktail. Food was OK. Nachos aren't as good as the pictures posted as I am not a big fan of the porkrine style chips. Fries were kind of a let down for me. A place like this with $10 cocktails and $15 burgers should have some bomb fries, but that was not my experiences this last time. Had a great experience over all. Very friendly and greeted right away. Not busy when I went though at 3 pm on a Friday so that helped. Loved that they had their bifold patio doors wide open. Ordered the Loco Crunch, which is a version of a crunch wrap but with a burger inside with chorizo. It was delicious!!! With the onion rings. Perfectly crispy and not greasy. I'd order it again. Our family loved all of our meals (my husband said it's one of the best burgers he's ever had), and I seriously don't know why the french fries at the restaurants in this group are so good, but they are just superior to other fries! We had dinner here on Day 2 of this business. It just opened in downtown Wheaton mid December 2017. The signs were not even up and it was a full house. Food was really great. Pretzel Bites appetizer was crazy good. I'm a bit of a 'I need great service' restaurant snob. In that light, it took too long to be greeted after we were seated and the music was too loud to have normal conversation. We sat upstairs, in the corner, right under the speaker. 5 stars because I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt being that it was Day 2, the food was great, being new it was very clean, and the decor was cool. I wasn't sure what to expect walking in for the first time. My wife had met with a friend and they each ordered a mixed drink and were quite pleased. It's always so exciting when a new restaurant opens in Wheaton, so when my brother mentioned The Burger Social I was adamant we visited as soon as possible! We went with a group of 4, and I immediately noticed the vintage-inspired interior. The restaurant itself is super cute, with a bar both upstairs and on the lobby floor, and plenty of TVs for watching sports. We opted for a late afternoon lunch, and I was surprised how busy it was. Our table split some chicken fingers and pretzel bites - the pretzels were a perfect amount to share and came with two delicious cheese sauces. I ordered the benedict burger, a play on eggs benedict, and it was amazing! I finished the whole thing despite having eaten half a cheeseburger at 1am (patience is not my strongest quality). I opted for a side salad instead of fries - definitely a power move. For dessert we shared a cherry coke sundae, which was really just ice cream with a drizzle of cherry coke. It tasted good and made me happy, but in the future I would go a different direction. (And will, my brother is already planning our second visit to try the churro sundae) I can't wait to see this place become a Wheaton staple! read more

By far one of the best burger joints I've ever been to with the best burgers! My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place on yelp and saw that it wasn't too far from us. We decided to stop in for lunch on a Saturday close to noon. First off, the decor of this place...AMAZING! I work for a lighting company so all the amazing light fixtures are what first caught my eye! It's very industrial/loft feeling and I'm in love. I can see this place getting really packed quickly especially on a Friday night or weekend, since the space isn't super huge, but it definitely is worth stopping by and waiting. The real test was the food. I love me a good bison burger, so I ordered one and my bf created his own with egg and bacon. Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had! I was ooooing and ahhhing with each bite! And the Parmesan truffle fries! Yum!! I definitely cannot wait to go back and try their other burgers. Great food selection and amazing cocktail options. The Bloody Mary isn't on the drink menu, but our waiter made us some and no joke, literally the best Bloody Mary we both have ever had. I was unsure what beer to order, so my server let me try a couple I was intrigued by, but never tried. I ordered the Philly cheese steak burger and it was so delicious.
