Such a nice little touch, and it was actually good. While looking over the menu, I also loved seeing that they offer senior citizen specials. Cory was our waiter and was great -- cool, funny, attentive, and apparently an accomplished dessert salesman. He talked us into the bread pudding, despite the fact that neither of us needed bread pudding. Unfortunately, he was completely right. It was outstanding. The restaurant itself is also really cool, with several separate dining and drinking areas instead of one giant room, and the bar looked like somewhere I could very easily lose an additional hour. Valet parking made the whole downtown experience unusually painless. I still consider crossing the Intracoastal for dinner a significant commitment, but City Grill has officially become my go-to spot near downtown. Five stars.
