Came for dinner here for the first time on a Monday night. Place was quiet. I have found that The Cheesecake Factory is fairly consistent across it"s locations. The food and service were very good. I had the Pasta DaVinci which was very well made. My wife had the Bistro burger which was cooked to he liking. It comes with fries which were very good as well. They serve a complementary bread basket. There is a full bar and large appetizer menu. We skipped those to have room for cheesecake. We tried the Mango key lime which was very refreshing. There are at least 30 flavors to decide on. I've had many of their flavors and all were delicious. If you like banana, the banana cheesecake is one of the best. Standard yummy Cheesecake Factory. Came with my book club so we were a big table of 8 but Kory did a great job taking care of us and checking in. We did have to ask for the bread after some appetizers came out but it didn't take away from the experience. My friend specifically appreciated Kory's honesty when it came to certain drinks or dishes and it helped her make better decisions and ultimately we all enjoyed our food. I got the Louisiana chicken pasta lunch portion which is much less flavorful than the jambalaya pasta but they don't have it in lunch size unfortunately. We stopped by for Sunday brunch. They open at 10am on Sundays and the entire menu is available. We started with their Fried Zucchini and the small Caesar salad. The Zucchini is wonderful! The salad was great and it was a huge portion for a "small" salad. For entrees, we ordered the Cuban sandwich and the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. The Cuban was not a Tampa Cuban. It didn't have salami or yellow mustard. It was OK. The Fettuccine was a huge portion, The noodles were cooked perfectly and the sauce was quite rich. The chicken was diced and rather a small portion. The service was friendly. The ambiance was standard Cheesecake Factory...clean and shiny. Overall, we had a good meal. Cheesecake Factory is one of my favorite restaurants and I frequent them often, but I won't be dining at this location anymore. The service was extremely slow. I can imagine on a busy Sunday shift (as a previous server myself), having a bit of a slow down in service, due to high volume, but on a slow Thursday, it was unacceptable. It was over an hour to receive our entree, and no one told us that they had overcooked the chicken on my dish, and that was causing more of a delay. Finally told them to just make it to go, after waiting so long and eventually came inside to receive the bag and asked to speak to the manager. Probably the worst exchange I've ever encountered with upper management. Absolutely no true apology. Just excuses and they didn't offer any reconciliation. No discount off our visit or perk for the next one, no slice of cheesecake for our long wait, nothing. We will never dine at this location again. Please do better! Be more transparent with your guests when things are wrong in the kitchen. My best friend ordered us food ahead of time due to my lunch being an hour. We come in and order two more cheese cakes, mango key lime pie and strawberry cheesecake on top of our order and it came to $82.23. I was flabbergasted, didn't look at the receipt because I thought it was the extra cheesecakes. Turns out my chicken piccata was $25 ( the dinner price) didn't think to ask us if we wanted the lunch special ($18) for lunch being that they open at 11:30 am. They said unfortunately we automatically charge the dinner price if you don't ask for the much special. Do you want us to get the manager to change it? I said don't worry about it, I'm on break I don't have time. Just know if you order your lunch make sure to say the lunch special or they charge you for dinner. We had a bad experience on our last visit to the Cheesecake Factory in Clearwater, which Was not the usual case! We frequent often. We had overcooked and dry meatball sliders, and complained to our server who relayed our dissatisfaction to the kitchen. Upon a second visit tonight, we reordered the meatball sliders with the caveat they were back to their yummy, plump, and delicious item. Our waitperson, Amy C. was great and we received our yummy dish done to perfection. We also split a great Caesar salad, with requested anchovies on the side. They have the BEST Caesar salad, a small order definitely enough to split. Along with their complementary bread basket, we left full and happy. This location had some of the best waitstaff; while always busy, they are pleasant and accommodating! The restaurant is always busy, good to make reservations. Honestly, I think a one star is way too high for them bad from the very beginning and just continue to get worse over an hour. Wait because they forgot to put our name on the list then after being seated at the table, they immediately brought appetizer over, which we thought was there a way of apologizing nope they dropped it off at the wrong table. Then after we ate it, we had to wait almost an hour for our food with the waitress, only checking on us once no refills on our drinks and then as we were getting ready to leave and she brought the bill they tried to charge us for the appetizer they brought to us by mistake after we told them we didn't order it. We thought it was an apologizing for making us wait an hour. The manager came over and told us if we didn't order it we shouldn't have eaten it. We explained that we thought that was them making up for horrible customer service and she doesn't know they weren't apparently horrible customer service is their norm. Would never go back to this one thank God they're all not like this, but from the rude manager to the weight staff not knowing what they were doing to the kitchen, taking forever to make sandwich sandwiches mind your order wasn't difficult. Kory was our server and he truly was one of the nicest person I've ever met! He really did his job well. We ordered a Turkey Burger, Tuscan Chicken, Cobb Salad with Salmon, and a Gluten Free Cheese Burger. Unfortunately, two meals were brought out then about five minutes later another meal and then a few more after that was my meal. The cheese on top of my burger was cold and not melted however when I picked up the cheese to cut the burger to see if it was cooked medium rare, there was some melted cheese on top of the meat, not from the slab I had. My best guess is the cooks put it on the wrong bun when the cheese was melted properly, and instead of remaking the burger they just changed it to a gluten free bun which would explain the melted cheese left over. This cannot be confirmed but the GM Rob actually came out to apologize and stated he could not be for sure on why that was but was not willing to take a chance and remade me a whole new burger. He was honestly soooo nice and honestly a huge asset to this team, along with Kory! He also offered me something else in the meantime during the extended wait which was very nice as well. This unfortunately isn't the first time the staff has messed up my order with an allergy. Another visit the waitress literally just took off the pickles and onions as if they don't linger with a strong stench and proclaimed it was remade. When we called her out on it she became defensive and rude then stated she did in fact just removed them off that burger. There were also no paper towels in the bathroom towel holder, although an electronic hand dryer, I do not want to touch the public bathroom door after washing my hands. Overall, the Rob and Kory were VERY pleasant and I have nothing negative to say regarding the customer service and how concerns were handled! Literally hats off to you two!! I am debating on if this will be my last time coming here or not as it is not worth the allergic reactions to me but the and I am hoping tonight's case with the bun was not what I am thinking it was, but it's just a concern I can't seem to shake. We walked in. The place was about two-thirds empty. Host seated us at a booth with very straight upright backs. We asked for a regular table -- like one of the six or so empty regular tables about 15 feet away. The host ignored us for about 15 seconds while he continued to set the booth, and eventually walked us back to the front of the restaurant and told us there would be a five-minute wait (despite the place being mainly empty). We asked for the manager, who told us, as if we were wrong for bothering her, that that's just what they do when they're short on servers. She wasn't even remotely understanding or apologetic, like any competent restaurant manager would be. Just kinda "Tough luck. That's just how it works." Additionally, the bathroom seemed unkempt. (See photo.) And the table they finally sat us at looked like it had cracked and was very badly glued back together. (See photo.) The server, at least, was nice. I was seriously shock how awesome our experience was at the Cheesecake Factory! I haven't eaten at a CF in years but I had a gift card and wanted to check it out. They were very busy but I loved that they text you when your table is ready so you can walk around the mall. Our server, Desiree, made our experience and her recommendations did not miss! We got the Thai lettuce wraps for an appetizer and they were so good, I wish we got the 6 cups opposed to 3. I ordered off the skinnylious menu - got the skinny marg which was a good and Lemon Garlic Shrimp which was fantastic!! There was so much flavor and it was the perfect amount of food. It was light but satisfying! My fiancé got the double cheeseburger which wasn't as good as my pasta but he enjoyed it. Lastly, we split the Reese's cheesecake which was amazing!!! The rice could have been much warmer & I think it needed something to improve the taste. Maybe if it was warmer & softer it would have been great. We always go to the Cheesecake Factory at Countryside Mall and always order the Chicken Caesar Salad and are never disappointed. My son religiously orders the flatbread and it is always delicious.
