My favorite Cheesecake Factory, it beats the Grove! Had a great first visit here this week. It was super busy on a Wednesday night, but the staff did a great job at coordinating seats, so the 20-minute wait felt like a breeze. Menu is hefty so be prepared to make some important decisions! Don't forget to munch on the brown bread while you're browsing. Good options for appetizers include any of the spring rolls like the cheeseburger, avocado or tex mex ones, fried pickles, Korean cauliflower or truffle fries. For entrees, the pastas are probably the best value, just ignore the calorie count. Most of them can be split into 2-3 meals too because that's how huge the portions are. You can tell the food is made fresh in-house; everything was tasty. Most Cheesecake Factory restaurants are a bit dark for dining, but not this one- lighting is just fine. I've been holding off writing this for a LONG TIME. I've had not 1 but 2 horrible experiences here. The first one i thought may have been a fluke but after the second i'm not coming back. my 1st bad experience was in November of 2023. i went in with my baby sister we sat down and were ignored by our waitress for over an hour and she never apologized to me. what happened was we were sat down given bread and ordered 40 minutes later then the food came out an hour and a half later. NO APOLOGY - NO ACKNOWLEDGMENT - NOTHING. i paid and even tipped $20 on bad service. now for what really angered me. I went back because my little sister wanted to go to the cheesecake factory for her birthday. this location is the closest i didnt want to come back but i also didn't want to drive to pasadena. on May 1st around 8 pm my mom, kid sister, and i went to the cheesecake factory. we were sat outside facing the fountain and our waitress was a short little asian woman. she immediately had an attitude but whatever she could've had a bad day. after dinner we wanted a dessert to celebrate my sisters birthday. we told her we wanted to use the free birthday cheesecake slice - my sister was having a hard time pulling it up on her phone and the waitress huffed and puffed and said it didn't apply she was rushing us out of the door. my mom wanted to make the day special and said. "it's her birthday let's just buy a slice can i see the menu please" the waitress gave us the menu walked off. then she brought out a cheesecake slice with a candle and those free little ice cream cups with a candle for a table of adult asian men next to us. my sister got so excited thinking she was going to get the same thing. nope. the waitress brought my sister's cheesecake out no candle or anything. after knowing it was her birthday. and she was always in a rush to leave us and would take a long time with other tables. now do grown men need birthday candles on not 1 but 2 desserts? no but it's nice. does a girl who is 13 on the day of her birthday need candles? yes. even after her mom and sister tell the waitress it was her birthday. yes. i think it was racially motivated because we watched her change her personality going to a table of people the same race as her. MY SISTER CRIED. i left a $10 tip and i regret leaving it. that wicked woman didn't deserve a tip at all. my family left feeling angry and that we wasted our time being at this location. my sister even said "remember last time". so i will not be coming back the food was good but the waitstaff is horrible. 3 years apart and still getting horrible service. read more

Came yesterday and that was the worst service ive had but also not even sure why. Our whole table was trying to get the attention of our server, tall black guy, and he ignored us over 6 times. Our table was positioned where he walks down the aisle towards us. Perpendicular and horizontal to our table. Raised our hands, stood up, tried everything. At a certain point its obvious you saw us but feigned ignorance. It was so bad I genuinely cant tell if u had a really bad day or if it was racially motivated. He checked up on all the other tables and the only difference is actually race at this point. Id imagine if you had a bad day you would be providing that same non existent service to everyone else. You stopped by once and were passive aggressive towards someone asking for bread.... But everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt. So I will assume u had a rlly bad day but 100% intentionally ignored our table. Regardless we tipped 15% and im hoping nobody else receives that kind of service because some of us are still wondering what was going on and if we did anything wrong a whole entire day later. read more

Came in for lunch with my 90 year old mom. Sweet waitress and love the many choices on the menu. I got a a Strawberry Lemonade with sugar on the rim, mom got a fancy non alcoholic fruit beverage, we then ate their fresh brown and white bread while it is still hot with fresh butter. YUMMY!! We then ordered our meals. I got an Asian beef steak pieces with fresh veggies and noodles. Mom got taquitos that looked like the chef had gone to an art class! So pretty their plates of food are. We topped it off with a large piece of coconut cheesecake! Sinfully good!!! We come here often but I try new things and lord was it delicious!!! My family and I stopped here for dinner, and we were completely satisfied with our dining experience from start to finish. Upon entering, we were greeted by a female employee within fifteen seconds. We were also advised that the wait would be a minute or two. The wait was actually twenty seconds. Truly impressed with the service so far. Upon being seated in a very comfortable booth, our waiter approached our table within fifteen seconds and welcomed us to the restaurant. Our waiter also took our beverage orders at this time. Two Coke Zeros and one glass of water for me (trying to drink 120 oz of water per day :) Our beverages were brought to our table in under 1 minute. AMAZING service!! We placed our order at this time. A vegan Cobb salad for me, orange chicken for my daughter, and a salmon and veggie lunch for my wife. We also ordered Brussels sprouts as an appetizer. We received our appetizer within 4 minutes and our complete dinner order within 10 minutes thereafter. DELICIOUS fresh bread was also delivered to our table. Our dinner and appetizer were AMAZING!! It can be overwhelming picking out a dish from the extensive menu. But we settled on Evelyn's pasta and the Thai lettuce wrap. I was surprised that we had to construct the wraps ourselves which was a nice way of letting us decide how to stuff them. Evelyn's pasta is very good and I highly recommend it. December was obviously not a good month for me to eat out. I went to cheesecake factory in Glendale with a friend and the whole meal was disappointing. My friend ordered the Santa Fe salad and the chicken was missing. When it was pointed out they just threw unseasoned chicken on top of the salad. She picked and did not finish her food. The tamales were mushy and something I never tasted before. My tasteless unspicy Louisiana shrimp/chicken was drowning in overcooked pasta which reminded me of the pasta from the Campbell's can when I was a child. I did ask the waitress for spicy seasoning but changed my mind as I did not want to be the chef at my table. I honestly had two forkfulls and could not go forward. It was just horrible. I asked for another order of bread and drank my club soda. The pina colada went back also since I did not have food. . My waitress mentioned they were short-handed on the floor and the kitchen. Exceptional service at the bar. Came in during Mother's Day weekend, but on Saturday not Sunday. I know better than to come on Mother's Day. Wait time was 60 minutes but there were two spots available at the bar, perfect for me and moms. Sat immediately.Food is always exceptional at the Cheesecake Factory, definition scratch kitchen. My first visit of the Cheesecake Factory was at 15 years old in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. It was my first visit and after over 20 years later, I'm still coming in. Miso salmon is just as delightful as the first time I had it, and the Louisiana chicken was decent. The breaded chicken was a little over fried, but still tasty with the dish. The ambience was clean, busy, and comfortable. Whether you're seating at a private booth or in the bar, there's not a bad seat in the house. Ordered the banana cream cheesecake and original cheesecake + added glazed strawberries to go. The worst hostess (the girl with shoulder length black hair) I have ever experienced from Cheesecake Factory. Checked in on Mother's Day evening. My wife, our 5 year old daughter and I were very hungry. Upon checking in, we were told it would be 30-45 minutes wait. We understood due to Mother's Day. So the hostess with black shoulder length hair asked for my name and phone number. She told us we would be notified by text message. After waiting for a while, I decided to go back and ask how many people are ahead of us because I am only getting one bar of AT&T signal, and I don't see any text that says we have been checked in and on wait list. I went back to that hostess again to ask and instead of her answering my question, she told me I have only been checked in for 13 minutes and it would be 30 minutes wait. I told her again that I just wanted to know how many people are ahead of us because I don't have good signal on my phone (see my photo). She cuts me off and said you'll get a text message. Their WiFi had no internet connection at the time. Again see my photo as proof. I decided to stay close to where call your name and escort you to your table just to make sure I didn't miss my name. More than 60 mins since I checked in, I was still standing there. I asked another employee to check for my name. She did, but only told me I would get a text message. Another 15 minutes went by and now I am seeing a lady that was checking about 30 minuets ago being called and escorted to a table. A few minutes later, my wife saw another party being seated that came after we checked in. At that point I flagged down a manger told her we have been waiting for over an hour. She went to check our name ( I don't think she found us) and quickly seated us. Three problems 1: Rude hostess 2: They don't make use of overhead intercom to call the party. Just shouting for the party name isn't good technique. People can easily miss their name. 3: Unless you are certain everyone's phone signals are strong, relying on text messaging is bad idea. As far as the food, my meatloaf was salty. I love salty food, but this meatloaf was even salty for me. Was visiting Los Angeles and decided to visit The Cheesecake Factory. Wanted to compare with the one in the SF Bay area. My first impression was how busy and clean this restaurant was compared to the one in SF. The wait time wasn't too bad either. The menu was the same but the service was much better here. Our waiter was attentive and our food came quickly. We started with the crispy brussel sprouts for appetizer. Oh, what a treat! It was baked or fried to perfection. One of us ordered the Sheppards Pie. It was very good, the meat was full of flavor and the mash potatoe and cheese was perfect. Highly recommend. We also ordered the chicken avocado club and the Renée Special. Both dishes was very good and the chicken was very tender and full of flavor. The portions were huge. Two people can share a plate. I ordered the chicken & biscuits appetizer, which took over 20 minutes to arrive. (Thank goodness for the bread basket as that delicious, signature brown bread & butter held me over.) The presentation wasn't impressive: Two small biscuits each with a little chicken tender inside. I can only HOPE that this dish wasn't actually 1240 calories as listed on the menu, because I don't even see how that could be possible but I digress. The chicken was bland however once I drizzled the hot honey sauce over it (the menu stated it was hot honey butter which clearly wasn't the case as it was a thin, dark sauce served in a gravy boat), the taste improved. The biscuits themselves were on the sweeter side & may have been sitting on the counter/under a heat lamp for some time before making their way to me as the top halves were overly crunchy. Like other locations this Cheesecake Factory can get easily packed with long wait times. But it's still possible to do walk-ins and get a table at reasonable time (especially for smaller party size). Parking can be at the Americana and Cheesecake Factory does a two hour validation. It's a bit chaotic at the front getting everyone groups seated and dodging folks coming in and out. But once seated it a nice environment. Amazingly not too loud and you can chat with your party members. The service was quick and food arrived at a good pace. Our server was nice and friendly! I got the bacon-bacon burger. It was really good when hot, fresh, and juicy. But once it got cooled I didn't want to continue. It was also got really messy early on from too much sauce. Had a weird experience with the front counter. For a party of 13, we came an hour in advance to put our names down. They told us the wait was 1-1.5 hours, so we gave our phone number. 20 min later they called, and said the table was ready, but our party hadn't been there yet, because we were expecting the wait to be an hour. Another day, another Cheesecake Factory visit. Look, I hate the Americana as much as the next person. But I was here for an event that I unfortunately could not miss and thought I would find a safe haven within the gigantic walls of Rick Caruso's favorite factory. I was half right. It did take a while to get seated, even though my friend who is an esteemed member, had made a reservation prior. Nevertheless we persisted and found a booth with time to spare. I really can't be mad at my French dip burger! It was pretty damn good, cut into thirds for easy dipping. I ate 2/3s and finished off the remainder during my aforementioned later event. Last time I came to the Cheesecake Factory was in Marina Del Rey where I was convinced to have a few regrettable Long Islands. Today I stuck with the classic (spiked) lemonade. We were seated to the back of the restaurant, at a booth with a view of the street. The sun was shining through so we had the screen pulled down to provide us shade. What we ordered: Steak Diane: This plate just did it for me, the flavor and the portions were so satisfying. Steak was juicy, mushrooms had a nice bite to them, and mashed potatoes were a great consistency. Highly recommend. Carne asada plate: For the price, I think it should come with a bit more meat. Flavor was alright, don't think I'd order again, you're better off getting something else with more protein and flavor at the same price or less. Yes, Jasmine. Our table server's name was Jasmine. She dropped off the bread and said she would be right back, but while she spent over ten minutes talking to the table next to us and then another table, we sat there for 20 minutes with nothing but bread -- not even a glass of water. She is the worst server I have ever had. We were originally told the wait time for a table would be 20 minutes, but we ended up waiting 30 minutes. Even after receiving the "table ready" text, we stood there for another 10 minutes. After finally being seated, it took another 10 minutes before we even saw our server. After that, we waited over 20 more minutes and never saw her again, so we finally left. If the restaurant had honestly told us from the beginning that the wait time would be an hour, we never would have gone in and waited at 8:50. I was here Friday 4/17/2026 and had a chopped salad. I was sick the next day, and it has taken me until today 4/27/2026 to feel normal again. I went to Kaiser and it was confirmed through lab tests that I got E. coli. The servers were great, I don't know if the lettuce wasn't cleaned or if whoever prepared it didn't wash their hands. On our visit to California we decided to go to the Cheesecake Factory across from Galleria. This location didn't disappoint. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. We were able to be seated within 3 minutes. Our waiter (Brooks) was amazing and patient since we were trying to decide since there are so many delicious options. We ordered to appetizers; wonton and fried zucchini and do know they were excellent. I was so shocked how large the zucchini sticks were. I could not eat it all. Came for dinner and i ordered a miso salmon. It came with rice of your choice, I opt to brown rice. The seasoning is good. For me it's a bit overcooked, it's my preference, coz as it's sits on the plate before being served the heat will cooked them more on their own. The brown rice is sticky, not to my liking! Extremely disappointing experience. My party of 6 arrived for our reservation at 6:30 PM, and it is now 9:00 PM and we are still waiting to be seated. What is the point of making a reservation if it is completely ignored? We checked in multiple times, watched several other parties get seated, and received no clear explanation or updates. A 2.5-hour wait with a reservation is unacceptable and shows poor organization and lack of respect for customers' time. This experience completely ruined our evening. We came in tonight as we hadn't been here in a few months. We were looked after by Ben. In all these years, I've come to this location. Tonight was the best service we've had in a very long time. Cheesecake factory is a great restaurant with a lot of options and your teams work very hard, but the overall ambience food was great as always, but the service was outstanding. I would highly recommend if you want good service to come to this location and ask for Ben. He works weekends for the dinner shift and is here Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
