My kids love this place so much thier favorite is the Mac and cheese bites always a good choice

Recently, cheesecake has been very busy and hectic, but regardless I think their food is pretty good, especially their bread (legit I can live off of that). Though I know cheesecake is known for their pasta and cheesecake, I genuinely love some of their other dishes. I have had their hamburgers which are good and filling (I usually go for the old fashioned burger). Juicy and tasty! I also surprisingly love their salad! My go-to is the Barbeque Ranch Chicken Salad (though one may question whether if it is a salad at all with its rich dressing, but I'm not complaining) ‍ I have had their fish tacos as well, which I liked! Last but not least, the cheesecake. The most recent one I had was Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake, and boy, that is diabetes waiting to happen. It is so deliciously rich and dense with chocolate that I cannot finish one on my own. This is a cheesecake that needs to be slowly enjoyed with milk or dark coffee to balance the rich sweetness. Overall, I definitely recommend but I would also make sure to time it well, so you don't have to wait a long time. (The longest I've waited was 1.5 hours) read more

The restaurant has a modern feel with a restaurant, bar, and dessert counter. It was very busy on a Friday night, but, because the restaurant is so big, my friend and I were able to be seated quickly. The waiter came promptly to the table, but couldn't answer questions about preferences and the dishes. I would recommend having the waiter or waitress ask the chef if the dish contains any ingredients that may aggravate a food allergy. The restaurant was noisy from a large crowd and was difficult to hear my friend across from me at times. The drinks and food did take a while to make their way to the table. The chef forgot the crunchy tostada that goes under the salad, so it was less enjoyable because it was mainly just eating lettuce with a few pieces of chicken, beans, and the topping. The Georgia Peach was very good for those who like a frozen peach drink with a raspberry swirl. The bread was ok and didn't come hot. It was a nice night out with a friend, but not a great place for a celebration. There are other restaurants in the mall that may be better for a special occasion. read more

Ordered delivery through Door Dash. Came much faster than anticipated. Everything very carefully packed. Especially enjoyed the beet salad which included arugula, fresh diced orange, avocado, something resembling quinoa or farro, and yogurt dressing. I would order this again. Enjoyed the veggie burger. Don't judge a book by its cover. It looked unappealing before I took a bite. What a surprise. I liked it. I especially liked that the patty was homemade and not heavily spiced like other veggie burgers. I've been wishing for a blander, homemade tasting veggie burger. The patty does fall apart since it contains a lot of brown rice and other grains, but I didn't mind. Large portion; I couldn't finish it; high quality. Tasty brioche-style bun. I held the mayo and pickle and I removed the raw red onion. Contained LOTS of arugula and a thick slice of tomato. Great choice if you're in the mood for something not too spicy. I ordered two slices of cheesecake for dessert. I preferred the pineapple upside down cheesecake. I would say there was more cake than cheesecake, but I was content to get two desserts in one and a combination of different flavors. It's still a very busy place and check-in and getting a table is a little chaotic. Once past there everything gets better. We were here for a bday dinner, group of 9. Our servers where polite and did their best to take care of us. We decided to play it safe and go for salads. Cobb for me, Thai salad for her. Both salads were fresh and tasty. Portion size is huge. I've been to Cheesecake Factory in the past and I've never had any type of negative experience. So when I had to stay in and order out, my daughter and I decided on the Cheesecake Factory. We ordered the loaded baked potato tots, a margherita pizza, the truffle honey chicken, and the Oreo dream extreme cheesecake. We split everything in half between the both of us so we can have an equal experience. I only took pics of the main courses but I'll say this...the potato tots were great. The truffle honey chicken was amazing. The Oreo cheesecake was phenomenal. But when we got to the Margherita pizza. She took a square and I did. I bit into it and she did to. Then I heard her make a sound like she was going to cry. Why? Because there was a long strand of hair in the damn pizza. This ruined the whole experience and what I would have given 4/5 stars, became a 2/3 star. Definitely think if you're making food, hair needs to be secured. read more

I went again today because my daughter likes it and it was 11:30am so it wasn't busy at all. Food came out cold and I ordered brown rice and I get white rice. How can they justify $24 for for 5 pieces of stew meat but they call them medallions THEY ARE NOT MEDALLIONS! I was going to get pasta but pasta is $22-26$ come on already. I won't be back. I like it but I don't like being robbed. $83 for 2 dishes and a small appetizer. Cheesecake Factory is slowly going downhill but prices are offensive. read more

The Cheesecake Factory is located in Riverside Square mall near the Sephora. It's a great spot to grab dinner and drinks pre-movie night. They have indoor seating and "outdoor" seating - the "outdoor" seating means you're literally sitting outside of the Cheesecake Factory INSIDE of the mall. Either way, this location is always busy and do not take reservations. There are so many options on the menu to choose from but my go to meal is the buffalo chicken blasts with a side of fries. They're DELICIOUS and fried to perfection. The portions are hefty so be prepared - it's totally okay to share, I won't judge. All drinks are poured strong so enjoy it! read more

Updating my review because recently the takeout service has declined rapidly. My food is almost always inedible. Today's issues was that the avocado rolls were completely spoiled. Yes, that's avocado. Taken minutes after it arrived at my home. The last 4 times I ordered there has been some kind of issue like this (veggies are spoiled, container opened and the food was all over the bag, etc.) there's only so many times I can go back and ask for them to fix it. read more

I used to like going to this restaurant, but the quality of the food and drinks has gone down a lot. At the bar they always have one person for service, which is definitely a lot for one person. Because they want to serve a lot of people, the service is very slow, and when they do, because they want to work with few staff, they always give you service in a hurry. The food doesn't arrive so well. Sometimes they mix up the tables and go out walking around with the plates. And the bathrooms are always messy. I know it's the people's fault, but they should have someone watching to keep them up, because it's in very bad taste to visit a restaurant's bathroom and find a mess. I don't want to imagine what I can't see in the kitchen. Lastly, in a restaurant of that category you can't eat in peace with all the mimes hanging around your food and drinks. read more

Wow this was a bad experience! Seated us at a dirty table. No bread. I didn't get a water. Asked if it was still brunch they said yes. I said I needed a minute to look at that minute he said it closes in 15min rudely. So I say guess I don't get to look at the brunch menu. I have been to many Cheesecake Factories around the US and this absolutely delicious appetizer is must to try, avocado spring rolls, crispy outside and soft inside so yummy! Brussels sprouts is my second favorite! My main course might seem boring:) for some people but it is filet mignon with mashed potatoes and string beans.. well that's my thing and it is satisfying me and tastes very good! We haven't eaten inside a Cheesecake Factory in years. We do get curbside about twice a year, and the food is always amazing, no matter the location. We went in last night to celebrate my husband's birthday. Our server was great and kept bringing us refills of the amazing hot bread. We ordered our kids meals first, and they arrived in good time: we ordered our (grown up) meals a bit after and they took forever. Nachos and salad shouldn't have taken that long. The kids meals tasted amazing. My husband wasn't a fan of their nachos and my Chinese chicken salad tasted like a bagged salad. I usually always get the same thing but ventured out last night, and totally regretted it. The reason for the poor rating, is the bathroom. I have 3 young kids. We took many trips to the bathroom. The Women's room here was disgusting. Not only did it stink like pee, the toilet seats were all broken and sliding off, the toilet paper dispensers were open and toilet rolls kept rolling off onto the pee soaked floor, the walls looked like they'd never been washed. It was just awful. For a restaurant where you are paying well over $100 for a small family, I would expect the bathrooms to be constantly cleaned and in good working order. There are employees all over the restaurant, so it can't be lack of workers. I will definitely be searching for cleaner places to take our family from now on. read more

Horrible service my friend and I were waiting over a 1/2 hour for a table (the hostess assured us no more than 15 minute wait - but we were being patient) and then the African American female hostess called her name so we started to go and a man with 2 kids started screaming and shrieking and wanting to be sat immediately so the hostess said she would try to move things around for him and told us to go back to waiting which I objected to But reluctantly did. The hostess Spoke to someone else there an older womam probably a supervisor or manager about giving the seat that was meant for 2 people to 3 people Because she didn't want to have the man with the children having a tantrum there. The (older white woman) hostess asked the African American woman, if giving up the table was okay bye the people that she initially called and I charmed in that it definitely wasn't and I didnt wanna give up The table. The African American hostess very udely snapped at me and told me to go back to waiting and that she was arranging the tables and told me personally that she didn't want to have the man there with the tantrum and the children. It was as if she was telling us that because we were well-behaved we were being punished and those that were having the tantrum and refusing to wait were potentially going to be Given our reservation or table. The man who is having a tantrum quieted down and the older white lady shouted out (into the air; not specifically towards the young African American woman) I don't want to hear This anymore just give the initial people their table!!! My friend and I were then sat at the table so everything was okay But I was very shaken up by the incident as was my friend who has thick skin and doesn't Usually get upset Or reactive. I understand if it's a busy night then they will have a wait or the wait will be much longer than expected but don't give people who just walked in with children ho are having a tantrum priority and tables that others have been waiting over half hour for. Considering Giving the table (which patrons have been wauting for) to someone who just walked in is not right - Especially over the objections of the patrons who have been waiting. Equally inappropriate or appropriate or arguably more so, older staff members yelling and shouting in Restaurant over who to seat - is also definitely not appropriate and professional nor is it a welcoming or even comfortable environment. read more

The Cheesecake Factory/Hackensack is totally inconsistent in terms of any semblance of quality control--even on the same meal! Even worse than that is the overt disdain, disrespect and discrimination perpetrated by restaurant management towards older patrons and customers with special dietary needs. There are way too many managers, and one manager doesn't seem to know or feel he has to respect what another manager says. After one of the three components of a premium entree was cooked so poorly that it wasn't edible, the manager to whom we reported the issue promised to prepare a make-good meal. But when we attempted to pick up that meal, we were rudely told by another manager that the manager with whom we had originally spoken had no right to promise the make-good entree---and told the cashier, "Charge them full price!" Although the entree was purchased for a senior citizen who can no longer come to Cheesecake Factory in person, the rude manager seemed to enjoy creating the embarrassing situation, and found it amusing! When the substandard entree issue and reneged-upon promise of the original manager was brought to the attention of the general manager, his response was basically that it was our tough luck(!), and that any problems with food preparation were, he contended, likely the fault of customers, not their kitchen, for supposedly not knowing how to properly convey orders to the restaurant! What a nasty slap in the face, particularly to an elderly, longtime customer who very clearly placed the order exactly as it should have been cooked. As far as Cheesecake Factory Hackensack is concerned, senior-aged customers are not wanted, and fair game to be disrespected and treated like garbage---while the General Manager takes absolutely no responsibility for any kitchen errors or other problems with food preparation. read more

This place is call a factory for a reason. They've perfected making great food everytime. I have no reason to doubt some negative review are about staff and facilities. I just never experienced what was mentioned. I recommend the Thai lettuce wrap, da Vinci pasta and of course any of their cakes. Of course their complimentary bread is to die for. For dining in during weekends and dinner it can get busy so expect to wait 10-15 minutes for a table. read more

We had two bacon cheese burgers that were just so simple and dry. The cost were about $20 for each and in my opinion this is not the best place to dine in. There always seems to be an issue with this place. I've spent countless thousands of dollars on this establishment and it's gone from bad to worse. This last visit takes the cake, no pun intended. Had a reservation for 5:30, seated at 6. Get to the table and it wasn't even cleaned. Had to wave down our disinterested server twice because it wasn't cleaned the first time. Whoever had our table prior had dropped ketchup all over the floor and seats. Best part is after the area is finally cleaned our server comes back 15 minutes later. After putting in our orders we get half our orders and the other half come 10 minutes later. Drinks? Took about a half hour. Asked to speak to a manager and one never came. There's better established restaurants in the same area. Don't waste your money or your time with this place. There's no real customer service. The front had a minor confusion when trying to get seated, looks like the table I was supposed to be in wasn't cleaned on time. However, my party got placed in a better seat. Food-wise, I got the chicken parm and it was amazing. It was also a big serving, so be ready to take leftovers. Barely making 4 stars, but nevertheless, I find myself coming here from time to time with family and friends. Combined, it was even better. - Eggroll Sampler ($12.95): surprisingly good! It was nice having the four different kinds of egg rolls to try in one plate, each with a special sauce of its own. All of them were good, but I appreciated being able to enjoy a change in flavor after every few bites. (My sister and my personal favorite was the Avocado Eggroll.) Filled me up quickly! - Smokehouse BBQ Burger ($14.50): disappointing and worse than I remember it to be. Buns and parts of the (medium) patty were burnt, the bun was rock-hard for the most part, and those factors got in the way from being able to enjoy the burger. I'm usually a sucker for burgers, but this burger got my mouth all dried up. - Louisiana Chicken Pasta ($17.95): decent; this is the first meal I've ever tried at Cheesecake Factory, and it's still one of my and many people's favorites. They have indoor and outdoor seating. All employees were wearing masks the servers had masks and gloves. The wait time for a Sunday was reasonable about 30 minutes. The seating was socially distant every other table was empty. The new additions to the menu were excellent. I had the Honey truffle chicken which was Fried Chicken Breast with Truffle-Honey, Asparagus and Mashed Potatoes. The flavor was excellent and it was cooked just right. I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was fried just right and not hard. The Asparagus was not to hard and not soggy. They hit this new meal out of the ball park! read more

Order a chicken crusted dish and it come out super oily with all the oil dripping on the dish. We complained and the manager come out and extremely rude saying if it is bad why you eat some pieces of the chicken and refused to issue a refund or exchange a different dish. My partner and I came to this establishment located at the Riverside Mall for an early dinner today. We've been here numerous times and being a Sunday afternoon, we were seated immediately inside without a reservation but they also have seating at a court yard dining area off the mall concourse as well as an outside patio area. Their menu is always extensive with appetizers, salads, sandwiches and dinner dishes. Their signature cheesecake is, of course, the star of the show. Our server was Brian who brought out complimentary warm bread with soft butter. Our order consisted of the Chicken and Biscuits (Sauteed Chicken Breasts Covered with a Rich Pan Gravy, served with their Mashed Potatoes, Mushrooms, Vegetables and Buttermilk Biscuits) and the Crispy Chicken Costoletta (Chicken Breast Lightly Breaded and Sauteed to a Crisp Golden Brown. Served with Lemon Sauce, Mashed Potatoes and Fresh Asparagus). Food is always cooked to perfection and they make no mistakes with your order nor do they forget about any details in regards your food. The portions are generous huge here which we took a doggie bag home. Had to save room for dessert and got one of their newest coconut cream pie cheesecake. During COVID, this location in the Riverside mall is CHAOTIC. Located now in the back of the mall, there are cars and cars waiting for their curbside to go but their system was flawed to say the least. We arrived after placing our order online but were not allowed to wait in the spot but start off on a line by the door to "check in." Definitely not the best experience, seemed to be a lot more complicated than necessary. Cheesecakes were good but I would just wait till the restaurants open again than to go through that process again. read more
