This stylish eatery chain is filled with all the things we used to love pre-pandemic: huge menu, large crowds, big portions, very good table service, and generally very tasty food. My wife and I have gone to Cheesecake Factory many times over the years. It is a reasonable destination for a nicer environment at a less than high-end budget. The entrées are always large portions, and they have several well thought out meals. From pastas to sandwiches to meats, all of them are decent and certainly filling. Of course, the dessert menu is their calling card. The cheesecakes themselves are properly chilled and quite good. I personally don't prefer many of their custom cheese cakes beyond a classic core because I think they are too dense and cakelike. Cheesecake should be loftier and lighter than the dense custom cheesecakes they provide. But the basic cheesecake is good and, importantly, they serve it with fresh toppings. If you want berries, they are fresh. This is an essential failure with most restaurants offering bakery supplied cheesecakes- they sub thawed pre-frozen fruit for toppings, and it sucks. In this, the Cheesecake factory has done well. The ambiance at the restaurant is a nod towards traditional classic, attempting Romantic Renaissance design and feel with modern accoutrements. The staff is highly trained, kind, and customer service oriented. This is now a refreshing non-norm since post-pandemic restaurants have notably lost their customer service mantra, with most restaurants opting for a blame-shifting attitude about how "we should all endure the shitty prices, service, quality and quantity, since it is not the restaurant's fault". Most restaurants want us to accept these conditions because they have chosen to blame their employees and the supply chain for running a poor restaurant, post pandemic. The Cheesecake Factory has chosen to take the high ground and retained excellent, service oriented staff, and there is no signs of excuse making anywhere. Thank God. Do you pay a bit more for the great experience? Not really. I pay about the same thing at the Cheesecake Factory as I do at Texas Roadhouse or Olive Garden, and I don't have to put up with hearing how I should have no expectations as a customer on the food, the experience or the service. We came here on date night for drinks and dessert. The only reason why I'm leaving 3 stars is because my husband liked his bottled beer, my pineapple mule was amazing, and our waitress was on point. Having said that, my cheesecake was rock hard, and when I did manage to get full forkfull of cheesecake, and my chewing warmed it up, it was extremely gluey. I know it is cookie dough cheesecake, so it's stored in a cold place, and cookie dough is dough, but I don't think it's supposed to be solid, then practically glue your mouth shot, or give your jaw that hard of a workout. Flavor itself was okay. It kinda had an elastic after taste, which wasn't pleasant either. Husband got the tiramisu cheesecake, which was also pretty frozen. It was not as bad as the cookie dough, but he said parts of it felt like eating ice shavings. The flavor for him was also okay. Now, the 2 other things. 1- waitress at the bar that took care of us was very timely and nice. She was busy, but she had her routine down and didn't forget about us, which is always a bonus. 2- That pineapple mule was soooooo delicious!! I didn't think it would come in such a big cup, but I'm not complaining. It was overall my favorite part of dessert. If we do come back, I'm sticking to my usual celebration cheesecake in the middle of the day when hopefully they've had more time to thaw. I did not time the first visit but the last two I did and it took at least 20 min after sitting down to get drinks. It actually took longer to get our drinks all three times than it did to get our food. I love the spicy chipotle chicken pasta. It has Penne Pasta, Honey Glazed Chicken, Asparagus, Red and Yellow Peppers, Peas, Garlic and Onion in a Spicy Chipotle Parmesan Cream Sauce. I think the best part of the dish is the asparagus and the crunchy topping. I think the crunchy topping is like won ton strips. They are good. Of course I don't think I need to mention that the sauce is ultimately what makes the dish. I wanted to try something new. I got the Louisiana chicken pasta. It was a mistake. The cheese flavor was so strong I thought I was eating cheese fish crackers. The Parmesan Crusted Chicken is Served Over Pasta with Mushrooms, Peppers and Onions in a Spicy New Orleans Sauce. I mostly tasted the cheese and not so much the spicy new Orleans sauce unless that was supposed to be cheese flavored as well. I have had their most popular chicken dish, the chicken madiera with Sauteed Chicken Breast Topped with Fresh Asparagus and Melted Mozzarella Cheese covered with Mushroom Madeira Sauce and Served with Mashed Potatoes. It was alright but I really liked the chicken bellagio with Crispy Coated Chicken Breast over Basil Pasta and Parmesan Cream Sauce Topped with Prosciutto and Arugula Salad better. I haven't yet tried the bistro shrimp pasta with Crispy Battered Shrimp, Fresh Mushrooms, Tomato and Arugula Tossed with Spaghettini and a Basil- Garlic-Lemon Cream Sauce. John was our server tonight. My friend ordered crispy crab bites and a side salad with thousand island dressing. She got her crab bites but John forgot about her side salad and it finally came out when we were done eating. She sent it back. My husband and I both ordered Cobb salad. Mine was to have ranch on the side; my husband ordered it with blue cheese dressing plus an extra side of dressing. When they came out, I had balsamic on the side and my husband's had balsamic on the salad. We went all out last weekend and stopped in to The Cheesecake factory. We had an early birthday dinner for my husband. There was about an hour and a half wait for a table, but it was totally worth it. We were seated just before the hour and a half. Our table was in a great spot and our server was beyond awesome. He was incredibly attentive, checking on us regularly. We both ordered cocktails and nibbled on the bread while we waited for our meal. I had the Chicken and Broccoli Pasta. Now I know, this is your everyday chained restaurant however I'm never disappointed with the food nor service. It's rare if ever any order is messed up and it it is they're quick to fix! The foods delicious and the portions are above and beyond. It's always served hot or cold depending on the dish as nothing is just sitting around. The desserts are yummy and rich in flavor with a wide variety to choose from. Today was a day of appetizers for us and a "light" meal. All items ordered were new to us and a first time try.
