Been here a few times and it was usually okay. Food is food but service this past weekend was terrible at the hostess stand. I understand chaos with Covid but we checked in and we're told indoor seating will be ATLEAST 2.5 hours. So we told them we're going to walk around of course we're not going to sit in the car or in front for 2 hours. And plus we parked down the ways, she said text back or call we're on our way from a store. We got the notification within 30 minutes and started walking back, we called the front and told them, they told my husband no problem thank you for letting us know. We arrive 12 minutes later and the hostess told us the wait is 5 minutes and we're late. We tried to explain we called and told us it was fine. She tried to say that it doesn't matter anything after 5 minutes is late. She had major attitude and disregarded what she said on the phone and kept saying well things change. She had a terrible attitude I get it we have bad days but maybe she shouldn't be the first person you deal with when you walk in. Dry chicken Alfredo :( usually this place is okay to eat from, but definitely a hit or miss with the food. I called to let them know and they told me to put it in a pan and add milk, oil and butter. The health department needs to visit this location. No matter what we order from this Cheesecake Factory in Oxnard, we end up sicker than sick. We stopped eating in the restaurant because it is not taken care of, but this was the last time we will DoorDash their food. My girlfriend and I came here for her birthday celebration tonight since we had great experience with other friends at another Cheesecake Factory, unfortunately not tonight at this one. We were led to a small table without well cleaning(spilled water and crumbs from previous customers apparently), we thought perhaps they're too busy to clean at this moment so they definitely figure it out later. After sitting there about 15 minutes, the lady came to us for a quick order then left, and couple minutes later the table was still dirty. All I have to do is to request actively another gentleman to clean it and he even said "shoot, did they really bring you to this?" During the meal, I tried to handed over the finished plate and teapot to another lady since our table is too small and not enough space for our meals, she was just standing there and watching me doing all this jobs for them, and she finally took the stuff from me until I really asked her to take it. My girlfriend and I totally understand each individual has his or her limitation on the job, but there's no proactiveness and attitude at all. Hence, there's another disappointed point, the lady came to ask whether we need to go boxes for our food. Seriously?! We merely had our food around 10 minutes, and it was just 8ish not even 9(it closes on 10). Why we have to eat so uncomfortably like this for birthday celebration tonight? Tbh I have no idea about it, but obviously there's no management at all, and certain individual is lacking in attitude to the job. We got our food to go due to the pandemic. We wanted to eat picnic style so we went out and found a place out by the beach. As we took out our food we realized we had no silverware or napkins. I called the restaurant to make a complaint and I was told that you're not given silverware or napkins unless you ask for them. We did eat our dinner with our fingers because we had no choice. Tonight 10/11/22 7:45pm Sat by the bar area. It took 10 min for someone to come greet us due to the bar tender and a two waitress being on face time talking to someone. We put our drink order then it took another 20min for her to come and take our food order. After another 25 min both orders are wrong. I called the manager he rectifies the order. At this point is 9:00pm I'm too hungry and tired of waiting all night. While we are waiting for the order the bar tener is chatting with co worker saying "fuck"'this and that and bull shit. The pictures speak for them selves. To charge some almost 30 dollars for a pasta with what looks like trash is not ok. I got some weird looking "shrimp" and at that about 4 questionable pieces. We also received our sauses without lids. Cheesecake factory do better or shut down. People save your $$ they are clearly cutting corners and are not cutting prices. This restaurant is one of our family favorites my daughter wanted her birthday dinner here I was worried that the restaurant would not be able to accommodate the size party so I called the day before to ask if it would be a problem they were not able to do a reservation for a party 20 but assured me that if I showed up an hour before they would clear a section off for me it was no problem so I confirmed with my family, when I got there yes they it was busy but they took over 3 hours to seat us the manager a woman with black short hair and bangs started to get loud and asked us if we wanted to leave another manager I believe his name was Chris he took over and was polite he actually took us back I just don't understand why they couldn't do a reservation and avoid my family standing in their small area my parents are elderly and were in pain plus I had a toddler that was getting inpatient. Just had an amazing early dinner, and I'm telling you it was really good. My wife, as usually had the usual! All steaming hot! Wonderful sauce. The noodles were cooked a tad too long, but still very delicious. I, on the other hand, like trying something different. I ordered the Korean Spicy BBQ Chicken. It's comes on top of a full bed of seasoned rice, white or brown. (I like choices!) Adorned around the bowl with kimchi, avocado, mushrooms, cucumber, and its all seasoned. Excellent portions. I forgot, we had an appetizer that was something I've never had. My very beautiful hungry wife ordered it while I was reading the huge menu. It was Avocado Egg rolls. Accompanying them was a sweet, house-made relish that was just scrumptious. I had an egg roll with and without, both being excellent. All sitting in white rice noodles. We both just drank water. Beyond excellent service was provided by, I believe his name was Sal. Bottom line, tonight's early dinner earned a 9.5 out of 10, 10 being highest. The whole dining experience couldn't have been better! The .5 deduction is for having a humongous selection of cheesecake at the entrance/register/exit. Their cheesecake desserts are that good! I sincerely love Cheesecake Factory however not this particular location. I ordered a Rene's Special, which is my favorite and received a truly depressed salad. The lettuce is completely wilted and tastes really old. The woman assisting me was not happy to be working and displayed it in her rude demeanor. The front staff were incredibly friendly...It looks like the dressing was mixed in (on a ToGo order, not sure why they'd do that). The soup and sandwich was pretty good. Well at least this place is constantly bad. I guess that is a plus. Ordered dinner tonight and it arriver burnt and I like things really crispy. You could not even attempt to eat what they served me. They called it cashew nuts chicken, which actually looked like mini Kingsford mini briquettes. And there was this grey stuff on my brown rice. I didn't have my glasses on, so I could not tell you exactally what it was, but my lizard brain was saying RUN! When we called the cheese cake factory to get our money back, the manager said you have to contact GrubHub. Now GrubHub doesn't want to refund us either, they want to give us a credit. No this is not what I paid for. This is not the first time either. This is why they have only three stars. Hopefully this will put them where they should be in the one star restaurants. read more

Went there for our anniversary. 1st time in a cheesecake factory. Luckily, we had reservations. The place was packed. Wasn't greeted quickly by any means & she was pretty stern and unfriendly in her tone. Was very obvious she didn't want to be there by her lack of good hospitality. I've had the Chicken Bellagio at several other Cheese Factory locations like the ones at The Grove, the Thousands Oaks mall, etc. where they prepared this dish very flavorful and very fulfilling. At Oxnard, the Chicken Bellagio was served with cold pasta, undercooked chicken, and with scarce sauce that makes it flavorful. The Oxnard Cheese Factory was a huge disappointment. THE worst Cheesecake Factory ever. I ordered a whole White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle cheesecake, however, when I came home after picking it up, I discovered a beaten up cheesecake. We went Sunday night for dinner , used the online reservation thru Yelp ( amazing!!) and we were seated 4 minutes before our reservation; for a packed Sunday night that's amazing. Everyone was working at a amazing pace . It was flawless precision . Our waitress was Jerilyn (1-12-20) . She was the best ! Polite , interactive, sweet & our entire evening was perfection!
