It's not enough that the server was apathetic at best (and believe me, I get it) despite me all but weaponizing my kindness to try to get a half positive attitude. She then took FOREVER to take our order and then another eon to bring us our food. I asked for a small revision (no mushrooms) and guess what... I got the mushrooms. I was ghosted when trying to ask for a correction until the bill came. I didn't argue, I begrudgingly took the food home and paid my bill for my Luke warm incorrectly prepared meal. Don't waste your money. This last experience was the last for me. It took about 15 minutes before anyone took our drink order. After that, we waited another 25+ minutes to place our food order and only did so after I flagged down an employee because our waitress repeatedly walked by our table without acknowledging us. The restaurant was not busy, with only a few tables being served in our section. What made the experience more frustrating was that guests who were seated after us received their drinks and meals, finished eating, and paid their checks before we were even served. When our food finally arrived, only two of the three dishes we ordered were brought to the table. My son's burger was also missing the onion strings that were supposed to come on it. I encouraged him to start eating while it was still warm. When we asked about the missing onion strings, the server seemed surprised they had not been brought out. Came here because of national cheesecake day and also because this pregnant lady was craving a chicken piccata. I drove 50 miles to come eat this deliciousness. Although the food was good, the service lacked. When I first came in, the hostess was so kind and sweet and even asked me when I was due and to let her know when I find out the gender. I waited about 5 minutes to be sat and then after I was sat was when the service started to lack. I sat there for 15 minutes and two servers kept passing by and nobody acknowledged me. Finally a gentleman came up and asked what I wanted to drink. I ordered my drink and food right away as I was afraid I was going to be waiting a long time . Mind you he didn't introduce himself or anything. Usually servers here introduce and ask how your day is going so that already was one of many. After he took my drink order, it took him another 10-15 minutes to receive my drink. When he would approach other tables, he would touch base and was super nice. I am not sure if because I dined alone, this was the issue. After that I waited about 35 minutes for my food to come out, at this point I was wondering what was going on, but honestly I was glad that the food came out hot and fresh. I loved the extra sauce on the side and the chicken piccata was very delicious, next time I'll leave the mushrooms out. The server did refill my drink after it was empty but honestly the service did lack. 30 minutes after I finished eating, I did order my banana cream cheesecake to go and that honestly came out very fast and Atleast I didn't have to ask for the check as the server did give it to me when I ordered the cheesecake to go. I am usually a good tipper and have worked in restaurants but attention to the client is key to providing good service and I would had tipped more if I had top notch service. I hope to come back again and give this location a chance again as I did drive over 50 miles to come here since I don't have a closer location. Overall my visit was not super terrible but was there over an hour but next time if I come alone I'll probably seek to sit at the bar. 2hrs of waiting and No food! We arrived at 7:00 PM, waited 40 minutes for a table, then over an hour for our food. We were repeatedly told it was "almost ready." Half our order arrived, and the manager claimed the delay was because they had no mashed potatoes--while nearby tables were being served mashed potatoes. When the remaining dishes finally came, they were dry, bland, and inedible. We had to send them back and order something else. It was 9:00 PM and we still hadn't had a proper meal. Made a stop on the way back to Bakersfield for a late lunch after working up an appetite at the Getty. It was a middle of the afternoon, it was busy but we were seated within 15 min if that. Our waitress was quick with the bread, butter and drinks. She did explain the kitchen being backed up so there was a bit of a wait for that which is fine we were tired from our day and in no hurry for our drive home. The reataurant was clean and what you usually expect from the chain. The bread was warm and delicious. The poke nachos always hit, the edamame adds another flavor and texture thats a nice change from the.poke nachos I usually get. The Thai rice noodle dish was cooked perfectly. The shrimp was cooked just right not rubbery at all. The pasta dish was good, not the best but it was worth trying something new. We did get cheesecakes to go as we were stuffed, this morning as I went to take pictures of the cheesecakes I discovered they were eaten in the middle of the night by the roaming child. We walked in with a party of 4 on a Sunday late afternoon and we were seated pretty quickly. We ordered the fried pickles to start and for dinner we had the Asian the cucumber salad, Korean fried cauliflower, and Louisiana chicken pasta (extra sauce on the side is a must). It was quite a bit of a wait so we walked the mall. We were seated after about 30/40 minutes. When we got seated our waitress seemed a little overwhelmed. I'm so done with The Cheesecake Factory. Me and my boyfriend would come here ALL the time, so we notice that each experience is always different and the quality is always fluctuating. I was really looking forward to this dinner because I was already having a terrible day, and I always try to look on the bright side. Of course there was a long wait, it was expected so we didn't mind. We got our drinks, and even sat through a power outage which we were totally fine throughout. Our waitress even apologized and explained everything to us, again, we totally understood! Our food did come out at different times so we didn't really eat together, but we were still understanding. Everyone said their meal was mediocre at best, but me and my boyfriend were looking forward to our meals. We were starving, and looking forward to it. Mind you, when we had our order taken, we ordered the same thing, the Truffle Honey Chicken, and I politely asked if I could get extra of the Truffle honey sauce on the side. We ask this because the taste differentiates so much and is always different on each visit, sometimes the kitchen puts a lot of the sauce, sometimes it's so dry. Our waitress said she totally could. Our meal came out, and it was just so dry, there was no Honey Truffle Sauce at all. It didn't come with the sauce so we politely asked again for the Truffle Honey Sauce on the side. Our waitress said "oh yeah! I can bring you the Truffle Oil right now", I was hoping she just misspoke because I asked for the Truffle Honey Sayce, Yknow.... The mixture that comes with the meal already... not just the truffle oil... not just the honey... I asked for whatever sauce it is they use. She brought us the truffle oil, which obviously had no taste of the honey in it. So I politely asked our waitress for the correct one, just because it was missing the honey. Mind you, I don't think it was entirely our waitresses fault, I think the kitchen was lacking again this time around, however her response seemed a bit "know it all" kind of attitude. She said that the thing she brought out was what they used for it.... I was still trying to be polite and tell her it just tasted like JUST oil, and I wanted the one that tasted like the truffle and the honey, or whatever mixture it was they use for the dish itself. She said "so I can bring you just the honey".... But I'm sure whatever they use on the plate isn't JUST the honey... because why would they bring the oil? I kept trying to be polite, trying to give her the benefit of the doubt and agreed to just the honey, when she brought it, it was just the honey, it wasn't the same one they use on the plate, because we've had this plate so many times.... I was kind of upset at this point, because it just seemed lazy. And my meal didn't taste how it was supposed to. A cherry on top to the day I was having. Mind you, it's about a $30, so.... I'd like it to be made correctly and get the correct sauce I asked for that usually comes with it. I decided to just suck it up, I tried mixing the oil and the honey, but it wasn't mixing well and just made a mess (I am sorry for the mess), so I just dipped my dried up chicken in the raw honey.... At some point I did need more for the rest of my chicken, and we POLITELY asked for an extra honey. What they brought to the table just made me laugh. At that point just kiss the brick before you throw it at me. They handed us packaged honey in a packet...... they didn't explain anything, just handed it to us. No "I'm sorry we ran out of the saucers", or anything.... At a restaurant. That is charging me $30 for Truffle Honey Chicken... but I'm not getting any of the truffle or honey part to begin with. It just felt like a slap to the face, which sucks cause I really was trying to be nice. It's just so disappointing. I really hope management can look into this... because your dish should not be fluctuating this much. Every time we have come, we have asked for the exact same thing, and most of the time they get it right... but often times they don't.....
