I needed a couch cleaned asap, since it was costing more money to trash it, and it was a health risk. I got a response very fast, which was one thing I was looking for. Then, he responded, asked for photos and gave a quote all within the hour. Agreed for next day. He showed up, looked professional. Acted professional and very respectful. He was calling everyone around "sir" and "ma'am", until we told him to call by our names. He wasn't judgy, he understood that it was my favorite couch and that the dogs messed it up. Did tell me to throw it away :-) Also, he told me what was realistic and what was not upfront. Got to the job and was meticulous. The result exceeded the expectations he set up. Sadly, the owner of Nick's passed away and this company is now owned by Dunrite. I called that company based on the reviews of Nick's Air Services, but their services has definitely NOT been the same as mentioned on this profile. In summary, this company is expensive, can make improper recommendations, and the office is very difficult to get anyone to call you back. I absolutely would not use them again in the future and - had I read their Yelp profile for Dunrite Heating & Cooling - would never have called them in the first place. My experience: My air conditioning due to leaked refrigerant due to another HVAC technician not correct. Nick's/Dunrite came out during the same day and quickly identified the problem. There was a leak on the schrader valve. They got us back to running - for nearly $200/per pound of refrigerant. 5 lbs = about $1,000. Wow, but we had no choice as my original installer was not available. Our unit has not been keeping up with the 90s for the past two months and the technician recommended 3 different options. I chose 2 of the 3 options: a larger return air duct AND repairing the plenum. I was anxious to get the work scheduled and it took me hounding them to get them to schedule the work. Communicating with this office was very painful. I would never get calls back and would just get a text message indicating when they had scheduled the appointment. Their front desk support was exceedingly helpful but not empowered to do anything besides schedule appointments and pass along info. I finally had the appointment and the technician went to the wrong address. I got a call from them saying they had been at my house and then they proceeded to the next job. I spoke to them and learned they were at the wrong house, but could not turn around to go back to my house. I had to wait until the following week to get the appointment rescheduled. What a disaster. It got worse. The work was finally done - the return air duct and the plenum. I waited a couple of days, but there was NO change in the air conditioning. I called them back again and they scheduled another technician to come out. The second technician came out, a more senior technician, who confirmed that the unit was undersized and "working as it was designed" to cool at 75-76. I don't know a single person who is comfortable with 75-76 in the house when the outside is in the 90s. I called customer service again. When I finally got someone, I got a call from William, who is their most senior technician (an older guys in his late-50s probably). He came out with the original technical and instructed him how to properly do a heat load calculation. They determined indeed the unit is undersized and I needed a 3 ton. I called back the customer service asking for a refund to the work. I've called at least 3-4 times, each time speaking with a very nice person. However, I've still not been called back. What a disaster. I've finally had to resort to filing a complaint with my credit card and disputing it through them. It's unfortunate and I didn't want to have to do this, but - when no one will call you back - it's very very hard to trust this company to make things right.

Hey there my fellow Yelpers. We recently relocated and we needed our carpets professionally cleaned to get rid of the previous dwellers' pet dander and to have fresh carpets, before we received our new furniture. So, I did some internet suffering and came across someone with great reviews; however he wasn't in the area. Yet, he referred me to Jonus. It was the best referral ever, because Jonus did an amazing job! He was very professional, arrived at the scheduled time, was efficient and the carpets look amazing! He also went beyond the call of duty and was willing to show me how efficient his services would be, by allowing me to compare my Shark vacuum cleaner against his vacuum. Basically he allowed me to run my shark in an area, then he went over the area with his suction machine and showed me what still remained in my carpet after the Shark! I'm always intrigued by things like this, so I was pleased that he offered this demo. We have a rental house with carpeting in four of the rooms. In two of the rooms we had replaced the carpet just before some new tenants had moved in. After only one year, the carpet had been so abused that it appeared to be a hopeless case and would all need to be replaced after the renters were evicted. To avoid the high expense of new carpets, I decided to make a valiant attempt at saving them, despite their unsalvageable appearance. After speaking with several carpet cleaners, I was referred to Jonas at The Clean Station. And the transformation he accomplished seemed almost miraculous. No one who saw the carpets before Jonas arrived thought that there was any chance of reclaiming them. But he performed the " impossible" job of restoring them to a pristine condition. I purchased two rugs online and when I got them home they were both soaked with urine stains. Just opening the bag made my entire house smell horrible!
