But about 12 days ago it began baking my clothes versus just drying them. That dryer got SO hot it was actually scary! I'm very good about cleaning out the lint trap so there wasn't a whole lot in there so I had no idea what happened. Realized we needed professional help so, based on the reviews here on Yelp, I called Asap Appliance and Ali was able to come out the next day. My parents always had Kenmore appliances that also lasted a really long time so I'm loyal to this now discontinued brand. I said that time worked for me and his technician was at my home promptly at 12. He was quick to assess the problem and gave me a quote. He replaced 4 drum rollers and a belt in roughly 90 minutes. He was very friendly, replaced the parts quickly and thoroughly cleaned the work area before he left. Price-wise, the quote was reasonable given the amount of work required to access the parts that were damaged. I'd definitely use them again if I have any other appliance issues!
