Placed in a good little corner of OB super easy to park somewhere and walk a block or tow if there is traffic too. The inside is alluring and engaging with all the greenery and other little details to look out for. We ended up ordering the Acai Bowl, Mexican Mocha, Homey Cinnamon, and the Perfect Parfait. I heard good things about the Mexican Mocha and wasn't disappointed 10/10. I could also not tell you which one i liked more The Perfect Parfait(this one is more sweet), or the Açaí Bowl both were amazing. The line got a few more people in it after we orders and the cashier did a really good job of getting the orders quick and so was the kitchen. They also remember locals and their orders! Arrived after a long drive Visiting San Diego and read the great reviews After ordering asked if we could use the restroom We were told that there are no restrooms and were told to go to rite aid across the street . There are no signs stating no restrooms At the restaurant. The restrooms were out of order And we ended up walking around looking for a place to go to the bathroom but no restrooms to be found . We returned to the restaurant Explained this to the staff who were rude and stated well that's how it is . I asked if we could use the employee restrooms and were told that they are out of order which I find hard to believe that the staff do not have a working restroom. A complete hidden gem! Came to this cafe for breakfast on a rainy day and was surprised with how incredible the food was. Everything is made to order so it does take a bit of time, but oh man is it worth the wait! They have a lot of options but are known for their bagels. I am so lucky to live right down the road from such a heart-of-the-town cafe. From the moment you walk in, the woman who takes your order is so delightful. All their stuff is made to order so it's nice to order and sit down and hang out while you wait for your food. We were so glad we chose this spot for our late breakfast on Saturday morning. It was pretty tiny inside, but they kept everything moving quickly, including getting food and drinks out....even for a Saturday on a busy holiday weekend! Visited San Diego for a couple of days and made it a mission to find local food joints to stop at. I've been back in LA for 5 days and I can't stop thinking about this coffee shop. The food is amazing!! I ordered the mini pancakes for my daughter and I had the spinach, ham, mushroom & Swiss bagel sandwich with an Vietnamese coffee. My favorite weekend spot and my favorite açaí bowl in OB. Maya knows one of my (two different standard) orders by heart. I love their vanilla bean coffee that is not flavored with sugars. They recently refreshed the space and it looks quite nice. I love that the former owner sold it to her long-time cook. Recipes have been consistent and she's added a few new things.
