A friend of mine and I went to check out the spot for dinner. The food came out quickly, and the server was friendly and attentive. One of the highlights of the meal was the brussels sprouts. The pieces of garlic, the charred sprouts and presentation made it a great appetizer. My steak was cooked to the right temp and was quite tender though the portion felt small. The fries were seasoned well and crispy. I love shoestring fries and these hit the spot. It's cozy inside and has a great bar inside too. What I really appreciated was the breakdown card you can ask for that shows all the items that have dairy, gluten, etc. It really helped me decide on what I could have.

A friend and I came to The Collins to check out their newly launched brunch. I loved the vibe of the place, definitely unexpected from the outside & location. We sat inside since it was a hot day but the outdoor seating looked lovely, weather permitting. The menu had some really great options, I ended up going with the Croquet Madam. It was super tasty minus that the bread was burnt. Without the burn, it would've been a solid 5/5 for me. I also am obsessed with their fries, they're those skinny shoestring crispy type & with the truffle aïoli were perfection. The service started off great but slowly slipped as our server got busier and visited our table far less. I'm sure they just have some kinks to work out with the new menu. Overall I still really enjoyed it & would come back again to try their dinner.

I've been coming here for years and am finally ready to stop gatekeeping it lol This is hands down my favorite restaurant in all of Arizona, period. There isn't really anything I've ordered that wasn't an absolute hit. This spot fires on all cylinders: the food tastes amazing, cocktails are strong yet balanced, and I love the ambiance in the bar area. My favorites include: fleur de lis, charred shrimp risotto, short rib mac & cheese, grilled artichokes (an absolute sleeper hit), twisted noodle salad w/ shrimp, shoestring fries, brussel sprouts, braised short ribs, etc.

Service and ambiance on the patio were fantastic! Orlando took such great care of us and made the whole experience feel effortless. I even had to send compliments to the chef because the sprouts appetizer and CC sourdough pancake I had at brunch were a total "I'll have what she's having" moment (IYKYK ). Everything was packed with flavor, the quality was top-notch, and the portions were generous. Already looking forward to coming back!

I took my aunt here for her birthday. Food was amazing! I got the tuna and my aunt and uncle got the prime rib. Ambiance is nice. Not too loud. Nice bar area and patio. Our server was ok. Other servers that stepped in were great. If you're a coconut cream pie lover, its a must try. ‍ Chefs kiss delicious

Almost perfect service, waiter was very nice though didn't give me his name. It was a comfortable place to dine. I really enjoyed the stick fries dipped in truffle aoli & the French dip beef.

I am adding this restaurant to my favorites list. The ambiance and service was superb. Dining out on the patio was nice because it's covered and there is a street and mountain view for scenery. My first time here I ordered the short-rib mac n cheese, brussel sprouts, and the Crispy Grouper fish sandwich. Everything was excellent. Freshly prepared and flavorful. I split this meal with my sister, but wanted to eat it all, hahaha. I look forward to my next visit to try more from their mouthwatering menu.

The ambiance was great. Dim lighting and comfortable seating. Sophia, our waitress was patient, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the menu. We tried quite a few things as pictured. The highlights were the braised short rib and risotto, the brussel sprouts, and the coconut cream pie. I wouldn't change a thing about any of those menu items, although the plating for the short rib was a bit cheesy with the Brussel sprout leafs circling the edge. The cocktails left a lot to be desired. I didn't care for the ginger mule. I tried it because it was the bartenders special but I could have passed on it. I also had a grapefruit and tequila cocktail that wasn't that great either. In summary I would say if you want a good meal you can find that here. If you are looking for the best culinary experience you ever had, keep looking.

Stopped in just in time for Happy Hour. We never get a chance to enjoy it. Didn't even realize that happy hour is throughout the whole restaurant. Love that. Had the pleasure of Olivia being our server. Incredible. We know the food is always great... but Olivia elevated our visit . She is an asset to The Collins Brothers. Thank you so much. Can't wait to return.

This place was cute. We tried their brunch menu and sat at the bar. I really like their menu, it still had a lot of options. I had the grilled salmon and Cesar salad and bf got the brunch burger with an egg on top. I'd like to try their drinks but No complaints !

Cute spot with a wide ranging menu and happy hour every day which is nice. We had a pizza, the noodle salad, the prime rib sliders, poke and shrimp cocktail. The noodle salad was large and really delicious. Everyone else enjoyed their food as well!

I stopped in after work on a Wednesday evening. There was a bar seat readily available for me. The boristas were very pleasant and help me choose some items of the menu chopped salad with lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and bacon with chili vingerette dressing, and it was amazing, Then I opted for the shrimp cocktail, which you could order 6 or 12 shrimp, I believe, and it was not your typical shrimp cocktail. The shrimp appeared to have been seasoned, cooked, and then chilled. The flavor was scrumptious! The space is very large and can accommodate large parties. Indoor and outdoor seating available. There is accessible parking and entrance.

This restaurant is so close to the Biltmore so if you're staying at the hotel and want a little something more, the Collins is a superb option! I made a reservation for 5 ladies which 2 of those were 6 & 8 years old. We were promptly shown to a comfy large booth. We started out with appetizers & bread service. As we moved on to our entrees, we were never rushed and our drinks were always refilled without even asking. I ordered the Butchers Cut Steak with a loaded Baked Potato and a glass of Pinot Noir. The young ladies had the kid's meals. Their plates were adorable (wish I took a picture of it) & a Tres Leches Cake for dessert. The portion was shareable but I didn't have any which means I will return someday to try it as it looked amazing!! Overall, everything was nothing short of awesome. For the quality of the food and service it was definitely worth the price. The Collins has been bookmarked on my list of restaurants as one of my favorite in Phoenix, AZ.

Our server Jacob was excellent and very professional and friendly. He checked on us regularly and never left us waiting for service. We started with dirty martinis and they were prepared perfectly. Icy and filled to the rim. I ordered the Short Rib Potstickers $19- As an entree. Toasted sesame, cilantro, ponzu. Delicious. A good amount of short rib in each potsticker and plenty of sauce. My husband ordered the Blackened Sea bass Tacos $28 - blue corn tortilla, grilled pineapple salsa, red cabbage slaw, poblano crema. He loved these tacos. He said they were very, very good and the fish was cooked perfectly. For a side, we ordered the Spicy Double Egg Fried Rice. $9. Wow, this was packed with flavor. A nice size for the price. We have only been here a handful of times full of times and we are never disappointed. We will be back!

It is beautiful, spacious, and has two floors! The setting is clearly above your usual brunch spots and the booths offer a more intimate experience. My party and I were privileged to sit in direct view of the open kitchen. We got to see and hear the kitchen staff working together and communicating smoothly. We even heard the "hands" announcements like you see on The Bear TV show! I believe the food here was on par with the West Hollywood location, so points for consistency. Unfortunately, I have the same qualms for flavor for their dishes. I tried the short rib pot stickers, the tortilla soup, and the Bolognese pasta. I would say that the flavors were not especially strong for each dish. I think they each needed a pinch of extra seasoning to really make their flavors pop! Moreover, I tried my girlfriend's Rigatoni Alla Vodka and the cheese had no taste! Nevertheless, the dishes were beautiful. Lastly, I had a bit of an issue with our service. Our server passed by our table multiple times as we tried to flag her down to ask for the check. I think she could have been more attentive especially in the context of this higher-end brunch spot. With all of these factors combined, it's an overall 4/5 for me.

As soon as we walked in, we both said, "This isn't what we were expecting." It's a large open dining area with tables and about four or five booths with counter-style ordering. They have a water station set up where you grab your own waters and find a table to sit at, and then they will bring out your food. Based on the name, we assumed we would be seated by a hostess and the menu would be full of breads, different kinds of pastries, and country-style foods, but it's actually mostly Mexican dishes with a few country-style dishes thrown in. We ended up ordering the Crispy Chorizo & Potato tacos and the biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon to share. The tacos were good; they are filled with whipped potatoes and chorizo, but the biscuits and gravy were just basic biscuits and gravy. The scrambled eggs on both dishes were WAY overcooked and had zero flavor. Not sure if they misunderstood my husband when he ordered the side of bacon crispy; that also meant to cook the eggs that way too? Overall, it was a good experience. The espresso martini was good, and the staff were really friendly. I'm just not sure it was good enough to stop in again.

The bone marrow was interesting and flavorful, but I'm not sure it was worth $25. The oysters were good, although I wish there had been a few different sauce options beyond the basic preparation. The steak was probably a 3.2/5 for me--it was good, but at $62, I expected more, especially considering it was served with fries. Service was good overall, although the experience started off a little strangely. We had made a reservation and mentioned that it was our anniversary, that we were trying a new restaurant, and that we were hoping to make the evening special. Unfortunately, none of that was acknowledged. When we arrived, we were directed to the front, where the hostess seemed confused about our reservation before eventually taking us to our table. I wasn't expecting anything extravagant, but even a simple "Happy Anniversary" would have made a difference. The ambience was definitely one of the highlights--moody, intimate, and a nice setting for a date night. I was actually happy that we were seated along the back wall rather than in the main dining area. Overall, I'd give the experience about a 2.7/5. The food was decent and the atmosphere was nice, but for the price ($85 per person), I expected a little more from both the food and the overall experience. Especially for an anniversary dinner, it was disappointing to make a point of mentioning the occasion and have it go completely unacknowledged.

I really love the aesthetic of this place. First of all it's tucked on the back corner of a strip mall. You wouldn't know it was care without looking, even though there is a small patio that wraps around. The dining room is kind of a great mixture that stuff it's very industrial working with lots of concrete with open duct work, but it also has a lovely tufted Bank at and crystal chandeliers. The perfect balance and I love it. You can see into the kitchen which I also like. Our server was delightful, and I loved the attentiveness, like making sure to move the curtains when the light was hitting in an odd way. I started with a delicious drink that I think was called Mezcal Orange Fizz. It was yummy! For the first course I chose the Salmon Crudo. It had a citrus dressing and crispy rice chip. It was absolutely delicious, but very tiny. I could have licked the plate because the dressing was so yummy. My friend had the gazpacho, which she said was very good With main course I chose the Garlic-Lemon Scallops and Corn. It was four delicious scallops on polenta garnished with popcorn. What a cool surprise! It was really good! My friend had the short ribs which she seemed to like as well. For dessert, we both chose the key lime tart. It was a little bit of heaven on a plate! I really enjoyed it. The portion sizes were appropriate - - what we probably should be eating rather than the huge portions we normally get. I was able to finish everything, and I left full but not stuffed. I did remove a star because I did not like that they charged a gratuity on a check for just one person. I normally tip a minimum of 25%, but they added 18%. I just left it. I understand the need to include the gratuity with a larger party (somehow the server always seems to get the short end on those larger parties). I don't know if that's a normal thing, or a restaurant week thing because, to be honest, hubby always pays the bill. I do recommend this hidden gem of a place. It has a lot going for it and I've always enjoyed my visits here.
