Food is pretty good. Good portions and good taste. Not "drive 40 minutes out of your way" quality, but for a local place it does the trick and I imagine the lunch options might be even better than what I generally get. I will say that be careful ordering pick up through yelp via door dash. I placed one order and it said there was an issue and it couldn't be processed. Tried to do it again and same issue occurred. Long story short at $80 later both orders did in fact get processed and I didn't do it through the app so I have no idea how to try to submit an issue about it to Door Dash. The food was IMMACULATE. We got a pulled pork sandwich and a Tri tip sandwich. I had a side of baked beans while my boyfriend had a side of mash. The onions and cucumbers on the side for deliciously sweet. The meat was juicy and the price was well worth it. Filled us up big time. Tried this place for the first time and it was pretty good! I got the lunch special and added a beef rib with beef links. I believe my total was around $30 bucks. If you are thinking about ordering delivery, think again. I ordered the "Ribbo plate" that feeds 4-5 people and they only gave me 2 small sauces. I also got rice and beans for my sides and they gave me macaroni and cheese. When I tasted the meat it was dry and some pieces were burnt. Mini Hobo lunch came with a little bit of everything from Brisket, Tri Tip, Pork Ribs, Burnt Ends, pulled pork. The Brisket was definitely my favorite. It was nice and tender and melted in your mouth. I would definitely get just the brisket again next time. The sweet rolls were also really good dipped in the sweet bbq sauce. I had high hopes for The Corner 10th's BBQ, but was disappointed with what I found. I'll start with the location. While easy to find, good luck finding a parking spot. The restaurant displayed a nice vibe and the staff very friendly. You order and pay at the counter. Food is then brought to your table, if you dine in. The counter is also where to go orders are delivered for take out. The portions are generous! Very generous. I do wish the quality matched the portions. I loved their Cole slaw. The Baby Back and Beef ribs, while large is size, had a gristle to meat ratio of about 3;2. They offered 3 different home-made sauces. Personally, I found them to be unimpressive. I doubt if I shall ever return. There are just too many issues. read more

The food came out dry like it's been sitting out for a while. Doesn't feel warm either. This goes for all the meats we ordered. There were also flies since the backdoor was open and they don't have no air system at the door in place to help keep them out. The smoked bacon cheese Jalapeño is a hard pass. My family and I had a long day and from that had a long nap in the late hours of the day. Unfortunately we all woke up late and dinner time was upon us. Since cooking would make dinner too late we decided to head out to eat. I for one was very adamant about beef and bbq brisket at that some instead of letting the family pick it looked up a bbq place nearby to try on yelp and thank God yelp didn't let us down. On the video you can see the place was clean and the decor was nice. Everything we ordered was delicious and full of flavor. The brisket was just what I wanted and it was a lot of food I only ate half. The other half i killed for breakfast. Overall experience was a ten out of ten. A bit pricy but worth it in my opinion. It came out to about $100 but when the service is good, food is great in presentation and quick to the table and delicious...I would have been happy spending $200 on the meal. Great job guys. Don't change and we will definitely be back. Oh only one negative that almost kept us from even stopping to try this place...the parking sucks. Very little spaces shared by three different places. When it was time to leave we were blocked in by two vehicles. Good thing it didn't take long before they moved out of the way. Not a game changer but just an FYI to when you do show up. I've been to The Corner 10th's BBQ twice now. It's not a 10/10 place, but I'd rate it an 8/10. The beef ribs, or "dino ribs," come with an extra charge but are still pretty good and tender. I wish the brisket looked more appealing, as it was a bit dry, but the tenderness was there. The sides--mac and cheese, beans, and cornbread--are my favorites. The regular sauce and spicy sauce were good, but I wasn't a fan of the whiskey sauce. I'd definitely go back for the dino ribs, but please make the brisket look more appetizing next time. Soooo....this used to be one of my favorite bbq joints in Long Beach, but I got the 3 meat family meal with banana pudding yesterday and it was nothing short of disappointing. The brisket and grilled chicken were good, but the smoked chicken str8 up lacked any kind of smoky BBQ flavor. They also didn't give me any BBQ sauce. Is that something I need to ask for now? The banana pudding is nothing more than a boxed jello version with a few wafers and banana pieces sprinkled in. The whip cream was also barely covering the top of it. Cool whip is pretty cheap so I don't know how they messed that up. I also had to wait in line for a pickup order. You used to have a separate window for that. Why did you remove it??? Waiting in line with the folks placing new orders is a waste of time. You guys need to fix your processes and get it together. Read the book Lean Thinking for some suggestions. I ordered 2 dinner plates and it was so much food, it looks much smaller in the picture on Instagram. I probably ordered almost everything on the menu. The first plate was a 3 meat 2 sides platter; I got the beef ribs, brisket and grilled chicken. I originally ordered the smoked chicken but they ran out. And for the sides I got the Mac & cheese and baked beans. I'm not going to lie, the chicken was a little dry. The brisket was tender and the ribs were super tender. The Mac and cheese and the baked beans....delicious. The second plate I ordered rib tips and tri-tip and 2 sides, hot water cornbread and dirty rice. Again, everything was delicious. They give you tons of sauce so I slathered that on everything! And the peppers on the side give it a nice kick. I ordered extra sides, because my eyes were bigger than my stomach, and I got to try the Cajun fries and the hush puppies. The hush puppies were a little dry and honestly I could've sworn I ordered an extra hot water cornbread but it's all good because they give you 2 big muffin size cornbreads. It was ALOT of food! I ordered through Instagram for delivery, they were very polite when they called to tell me they were out of smoked chicken and that's when I asked them to add extra sides on my order because the app didn't allow a la carte sides to be added. Weird right? But the staff was very nice and handled it. The second plate I had to order like it was a separate order, because again the app thing didn't let me alter the order. So I had to pay for 2 delivery fees! Not their fault but fuck grub hub. Next time I'll get off my lazy boot and pick it up myself. It was 3 egg rolls for $9 but since they are new, I'm not sure if the pricing will change. It was filled with their bbq meat (I tasted majority pork but not entirely sure) and it came with a side of their bbq sauce. Saturday afternoon family meet up. When considering everything that was ordered we had: pulled pork, pork ribs, brisket, and chicken, Sides: bbq beans, cole slaw, mac and cheese, greens, and corn bread (which comes as a side). All the plates had a buttered sweet roll and a garnish of this sweet pickles, jalapeno and pickled onion combo thing. All of the meats were good. I especially loved the pulled pork. The sides were a little hit and miss - none of them was bad though. I think the cole slaw was the best and when I added some of their bbq sauce to my beans that certainly elevated them. The rolls were good, that pickled garnish was good too. The meats are smoked so you get bbq sauce on the side: regular, spicy and whiskey. Everyone was generlly pleased with their food. Nice ambiance. It's not a huge place - the seating was comfortable. All kinds of posters on the walls gave the appearance of a down home in the country joint. We know people that rave about this place so we decided to go tonight. Now my husband built his own smoker so we are spoiled with yummy bbq. We ordered the 2 meat dinner, wings, meat salad and it came with 3 sides. We waited and read all the fun signs bolted to the walls all while listening to country music. It smelled wonderful in the restaurant. The food came and the salad was giant! But the tri-tip was fatty and had zero flavor. It was not good at all. We started trying the other meats. The rib tips were VERY salty and the bbq sauce had a weird aftertaste. Again, I thought well I am spoiled with my husband's bbq. We tried the beef ribs and again VERY SALTY and had a tough texture. The cornbread was dry and the Mac and cheese was gross. I am so disappointed. We paid ALOT for super salty, chewy, not good bbq. We won't go back. This was our first time here for my friend and I. He was craving bbq and collard greens so he Yelp(d) it and found this place. I have to respect any bbq that serves collard greens. All of the meats are smoked in house and all of the sides are made in their kitchen. We both ordered the lunch two meats/two side combo. Both with brisket but one with pork ribs and mine with beef rib. It was suppose to be one rib but mine came with two and half. This probably because it's not a dyno rib. The meats were fantastic and delicious and smoked recently. The only gripe I have is that the mac n cheese side had herbs in it. I have never had mac with herbs? But, this is just me...also the fountain drinks are one serving only and Not self serve. Lastly, the inside is not too big. So, not so good for groups, unless dining earlier before peak times. Again, the meats were fantastic and the bbq sauces are delicious. They even make house made pickles, pickled jalapeño, and onions. You must try this place!
