    Self serve water station

Stopped here for lunch with the family. I pretty much enjoyed everything about this place. You order at counter then seat yourself. They bring food out to you. There is a self serve water station and fairly decent drink menu as well. We had elk burgers and kids had chicken tenders. Everything was solid. The fries seem to be fresh cut and especially good. Pricing is on par with everywhere else around the park. I would highly recommend for a quick no frills meal.

The elk burger was perfectly cooked, juicy, flavorful, and one of the best I've had. Paired it with a huckleberry honey beer that added the perfect touch of sweetness. The sweet potato fries were crispy and well-seasoned, definitely worth the hype. Great local spot with amazing food, fast service, and a laid-back atmosphere. I'll absolutely be back for the patio views

    Bison burger! Homemade cut fries.

Great food! Ate here on last night in Yellowstone. Under construction but don't let it deter you. We had an Elk burger and bison burger. Deep fried mushrooms as an appetizer, so yummy! Menu is smaller and simple but good quality food. Service and timely delivery of food. Small amount of seats now in off season and construction, likely be super nice outdoor seating area soon.

This is a nice spot in Gardiner which is a lovely town. The place is nice, you order first, choose drinks and food. The beer menu was good. The food is the essential part, and I thought it was great. I tried the beef burger and it was memorable. The service was friendly and nice. Overall I'd recommend this place. It was busy but we didn't wait very long

We were hungry on our way into Yellowstone and thought this restaurant looked cool from the road. The front window gal was friendly. The tables weren't all that clean outside but we found a spot and split an elk burger and fries. For $22 it really wasn't as good as we'd hoped. I wish we would have driven further before deciding as there were many other options a bit up the road but I'm sure everywhere in town is similar.

A decent fast casual eatery with mostly self service, minus food being brought out to you. The CORRAL is a fairly prominently displayed eatery on the side of the main road going through Gardiner, so there's a good chance you'll see it no matter what. While quite a few of the folks in line were raving about it, I can't say I was terribly impressed by my city-boy-palate. It'll certainly serve it's purpose if you just need food, but time permitting I'd recommend looking elsewhere. It's mostly street parking, but the CORRAL has a number of dedicated spots if you turn onto their corner, so drive by first to see if those are filled up. Service is mostly self serve as seating is first-come-first-served, water and utensils are available at a station near the kitchen, and you might need to figure out how to avoid roasting in the sun as covered spots are not too plentiful and interior seating is rather limited. The kitchen areas were also rather unsanitary with all the flies around the food plates; I've seen worse to be honest, but less than ideal to be sure. Water cooler rather finicky to function too. On the bright side, they had a nice outdoors swing and slide set for kids/families to play with, so there's something for younglings to work off their boundless energy on. The food at CORRAL is very much presented in a no frills, 'simple is best' kind of approach. All burgers are the same, just with the patty mixed around. I would nominally see the appeal, but I don't feel like the execution was quite there. Now the fries were solid; lightly seasoned but moderately crispy exterior and a good (if slightly dry) interior. The cookies and cream shake we got was a nice heavy creaminess that came out quite fast and was quite full bodied (they didn't have the huckleberry stuff I wanted but good enough). The main burgers were unfortunately just alright. Very much a simple presentation with minimal compositions to distract from the patty (cheese is an add-on that we both opted for, but it was quite mild and didn't add too much). The elk was done rather dry/lean (also my patty broke apart and they still served it so...). The bison was well done, very lightly seasoned and slightly dry. Not a great burger experience even with the notable gaminesss of the different meat. All in all it was satisfying eat for sating our hunger near Yellowstone, but there are better options in the area to be sure.

Food was good. Beef was rarer than you can normally get it and I loved it. Cookies and cream shake was blended well. No cookie pieces left. Tasted right. Fresh cut fries were right out of the fryer. Service was friendly and busy. You order at the window and they bring it to your table. Seating is all outdoors. Lights draped overhead. Several locals as well as tourists.

The photo doesn't do it justice, but my elk burger was delicious. There was a very light gamey taste, but almost imperceptible. I had to try it, but you'd probably be just as happy with a regular burger. My wife had a salmon filet sandwich that was also very good. And their hand cut fries were delicious. It was a beautiful evening, so the outdoor seating was nice.

The wonderland beer was great, definitely recommend it especially since it's made specifically for the restaurant. If you're a part of more than 2 people it's probably best to go early in the day like we were told. I'd definitely eat here again if we come back to the area.

Also - if you drink coffee - the espresso machine was broken. My husband wanted a biscuit breakfast sandwich with sausage - they were out of biscuits. So I got him a bagel breakfast sandwich with sausage instead. I ordered sausage links for my baby, I asked if they had any kind of fruit I could buy for my baby. They said no that they only had bananas for smoothies - which is odd being a place that sells fruit smoothies... For myself I ordered a croissant sausage breakfast sandwich and a mango madness smoothie). My mother in law wanted a lotus energy drink - but they were out of lotus syrup. A few minutes later the gal that rang us up came to our table and let us know they were out of sausage for breakfast sandwiches. Asked what we wanted instead. They still has sausage links, so that's what we had on our sandwiches. When our food was ready they brought everything over except the sausage for my baby - which they clearly forgot to make cause that was a long wait till it arrived (5 or more minutes). Putting food in front of a hungry baby and none of it is for him is not a good idea lol. My husband ended up giving him his sausage and wait to eat his sandwich till they brought more over. I also gave my baby some of my smoothie - the smoothie was good. So, out of several items, and forgot part of our order.... Just seemed a bit chaotic. Food and smoothie was good and the people who work there are nice.

On Monday it was served just as it is on the menu, we had to send it back as my baby won't eat any sauce on chicken. Which is why we wanted it on the side so we can continue to try to introduce sauce to him but also get him to eat some plain chicken. On Thursday I had the pulled pork sandwich and fries. It was great. On Monday I had the quesadilla with barbicoa beef. The meat was excellent, but the bottom side of my quesadilla was soggy, not crispy at all and wet when it was served to me. On Thursday my husband had the Dizzy buffalo burger with the cheese curds, he liked it. On Monday he had the Westerner sandwich, he said it wasn't great. He ended up only having a couple of bites. I'm not sure what the difference was, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that hopefully they were just having an off night. Round out the two visits at 3 stars. I'd give them another shot if we visit again since one time was a really great experience.
