We had a large party of about 10 people, and I can't say enough good things about this place. If I lived locally, I'd be there all the time! First, the atmosphere and overall vibe were wonderful. It's all open-air dining, and the breeze off the water was perfect, making it not too hot and not too cool. This is a real Florida experience. As far as the food, it was pricey but well worth it. We shared the conch fritter appetizer, and I could seriously eat a hundred of these little things! A few of us had crab cakes that included roasted red potatoes. The outside of the potatoes was perfectly crispy, and the inside was creamy. There was no salt or pepper on the table (which have admit I would have liked to at least been offered some), but they did not need it. The crab cakes were excellent, not the best I've ever tasted, but very good. I would have liked to see less bell pepper and more chunks of crab. One person in our group had lobster mac and cheese, and I had a taste. It was the best lobster mac and cheese I've ever had. As far as service goes, it was good, not perfect, but good. It was Saturday night after 6pm, and the place was jamming. Everyone there was working very hard and doing their best to accommodate us. This is a must visit if you are in the area. read more

This is theee spot for a great vibe! Live bands on the weekends, waterfront, it has a marina.. And the food? AMAZING! Nothing on the menu disappoints... Don't let other really picky people deter you from coming here.. This place is awesome! Just come hungry because the portions are plenty ful and delicious.. My favorite is the ahí tuna nachos and the Hawaiian steak... But everything is amazing... Must try... 5 stars to the staff.. Always so friendly and attentive... Thank you for a great time! We sat at the bar, the bartender was attentive the drinks felt watered down to my taste. We started with the conch fritters, they were overcooked and hard, then the coconut shrimp also fried, they were okay. The fish dip was the best appetizer we had. Wow. They were crowded today. Then it dawned on me it's spring break! The food and service was very good! I had the ribeye which came with some roasted potatoes but as I think about it actually the menu said mashed potatoes. It didn't matter bc I wasn't eating them anyway. I do have to say y veggies had a fishy taste to them which was a bit of a turn off. My daughter had the chicken quesadilla, which she really liked. My mom had a hamburger which she enjoyed also and my cousin had the mahi-mahi blackened entrée, which is also good. He started with spinach and artichoke dip with chips, which was good also. Great atmosphere with a good selection of appetizers and main courses but not sure what happened Sunday night March 9 in the kitchen. We arrived with our daughter's family and two grandchildren sometime after 5 pm. The expected wait time was fairly estimated. I could see tables getting frustrated around us and found out why as it took 45 minutes for our appetizers and even longer for dinner. My son in law who has had their chicken wings previously said something was off. Our server thanked us for not complaining about the food wait times. We will be back but hope they figure out the kitchen before next time. read more

We came to celebrate a recent business closing and had an amazing time at this waterfront gem on the Intracoastal in Deerfield Beach. The setting was perfect--great breeze, relaxing views, and a welcoming vibe. Our 4-year-old loved hanging out with us, and the atmosphere was just right for both adults and kids. Visited 10/10/24. Nasty Host, who was actually the manager, would not allow us to move 2 tables together for party of 7. He said tables were bolted to the floor. That's a lie, see photo of next group of 7 who were allowed to move their tables... very windy, blew glass of water onto me, manager only pulled screen down part way, kind of useless. A friend recommended this place to us because of the location on the water and the great food... and now I'm passing along the recommendation to others. We stopped by for lunch. The restaurant is in the middle of an extensive and has a somewhat limited menu, but we were still able to get a seat outdoors and found several good items on the menu. I really enjoyed the Cove's Waterfront Salad with chicken. It was a large salad with a variety of interesting ingredients including pecans, crunchy noodles, feta cheese, cranberries and a fabulous vinaigrette dressing. Our friends were pleased with the soft-shelled fish tacos that contained grilled mahi and a spicy salsa. The meals included some well-seasoned fries. My wife had the chicken quesadilla, which also had a nice kick to it and was a good-sized portion. The waiter was attentive and quickly refilled our drinks. Ample free parking always a plus by the water! They recently did a total remodel and it does not disappoint! The dining room is nicely decorated and opens up on nice days and nights to feel like you are dining outdoors with a nice view of the intracoastal but with the benefit of AC when it's hot. The outdoor dining has a wonderful on the water setting and the new bar is nicely positioned closer to the water with a great feel of being by the water, with plenty of new up to date working tvs (much improved from the previous bar). The crab cakes were good and it was a good sized portion. To my surprise the chicken parmigiana was also good and a large sized portion as well. They have a large dining so you very seldom have to wait for a table inside and with the new open concept why not. We will be back. read more

Came to the cove for fish dip and a drink on the water and I was pleasantly surprised by all of the new update's & renovations! I used to come to the cove when I was younger and it is a completely different experience this time! The service was great our server let us enjoy our time but always attentive. She saw a shot slide right off the table and immediately came to help clean it up and brought us a new one. The fish dip is one of our favorite ones we have ever had. My stomach had reached its capacity, so I asked one of the bartenders for a container to carry my leftovers home. My first dining experience at Yard House was enjoyable. The food and drinks were well-prepared and the service was satisfactory. I am definitely looking forward to my next visit. I don't know if Americans simply don't have taste buds for anything that isn't fried or morphed into some greasy splotch. But of all the places I've eaten in this world my experience at this restaurant was abysmal. I rarely take the time to leave comments but this warrants it. After listening to people talk about it I decided to take a date. The place is half open due to renovations which shouldn't be..just close it fix it then reopen. My date had mahi with rice and vegetables. I had fish and chips two simple dishes that should be easy to master. The French fries were obviously pre frozen and tasted like wet paper. The fish were tiny pieces with tasteless batter. Her fish had zero flavor the rice was mush the vegetables were poorly cooked. Even the beer that I had was not cold enough when I received it.i paid 74$ with tip for two plates of food and warm beer for what was supposed to be lunch! Guys this meal was not worth anything. We left most of the food on the plates and walked out. I understood the previous menu had more choices this one had items which were cheap to prepare but overpriced on the menu. I know Americans are proportion orientated and price conscious but this food was absolute garbage!! And way overpriced. I doubt the renovations will change the quality of food. I also get the attraction is location and more a watering hole than a restaurant. I can tell the owner knows his market because he knows he sell anything at this location and call it food more and so again because of it's location. Good luck and goodbye. What a dive. read more

The staff members by the dock definitely need to chill out. As soon as I got there they immediately began waving to me from a distance telling me to pay $10 per person to be able to get on the boat. I decided to make a quick phone call before getting on the boat and they began yelling at me repeatedly to pay $10, and that my friends boat was stationed waiting for me. To where I replied "I heard you the first time". After the day was over and we headed on back to the dock, we were trying to grab the pilots on the dock to be able to get close enough to descend the boat, and of course here come the staff members yelling from a distance trying to push us off the dock because we were "too close to the pipes" making one of our friends fall into the ocean. These people should get prescribed some relaxants, they're very rude. As far as the $10 per person fee to use the dock they added an additional $12 tip while trying to hide the screen from me read more

The girls there only pay attention to the regulars. If they don't know you they don't come up to you and ask if you need anything. I ordered to go last night, told them on the phone as well as in person but they still left all the sauces for their dry ass quesadilla. I threw it into the street for the dogs, their food tastes like shit, much less without sauce, my wife wanted food from there but I'm never going back. They're's better restaurants around here where the staff actually care about serving you. I wish I had 4 hands so I could give them 4 things down, they suck. The managers ok but the staff sucks. I'm good on that, if I want a nice ambience I'll sit in my backyard since that's all you're pretty much paying for anyways. Very disappointed and gave my dinner to the dogs last night. I recently visited The Cove Waterfront Restaurant and Tiki Bar and I was impressed! The convenience of having readily available boat slips to dock for lunch/dinner was a huge plus, making it an ideal spot for a waterfront dining experience. The menu was diverse and offered a variety of options, but I decided to try the tuna nachos with wonton chips and mango and I was not disappointed. The combination of flavors was refreshing and truly delicious. A lot of tuna!! I also had the blackened mahi burger and it was fresh, juicy and packed with flavor. The restaurant was busy even on a Wednesday, and the ambiance was lively, with a great view of the water and the tiki bar added to the fun atmosphere. Service was quick and attentive, making the experience even better. With great prices and beautiful scenery, I will be back! read more

So myself and some of my best friends had lunch at the Cove recently. We haven't been there since the new remodel. All of us worked there in our 20s for several years so we are excited to get back together at the old stomping grounds. I grew up literally around the corner. They did a beautiful remodel, absolutely gorgeous and a covered outside. Hosts were nice. Service could be worked on as for the food for the first of my life, I actually had to send it back thankfully, the server already knew and she took it off the bill. I didn't have to ask. I had the Tuna Nachos. As for my friends had the Scampi and the Burger. Not impressed at all if I ever go back, it'll be merely for maybe an app and a drink at the bar that's it. Mixed Feelings: Great Atmosphere, but Service & Food Fell Short This place has a great vibe and a nice atmosphere for hanging out. Unfortunately, my experience with the service and food was pretty disappointing. I found the staff unfamiliar with the drinks menu, which was frustrating. My healthy salad option also came out completely drenched in dressing, which made it feel a lot less healthy (as you can see from the photo--and I'd already eaten half of it!). On top of that, the portion was huge, which was a bit much. While the price was reasonable, the poor execution of the food and service was a letdown. This spot has great potential, but they definitely need to improve in other areas to match the good atmosphere. read more

The Cove has always been a right of passage for a memorial lunch outing during spring break especially with old friends that don't get together often. Although the food was good to mediocre the service was lack luster. We had dolphin tacos and fish dip with a few glasses of wine. It was a dreary day but the atmosphere was cool and it was busy for a week day. Our server was not very attentive as we had to ask for water, more napkins and we wanted time to sit and relax to enjoy the scenery and chat. Came in on Friday night. Place was slammed . Had to wait about 40 mins for a table of 6, but the wait was well worth it. Our server Dani was absolutely amazing, she used to bartend at oceanic so we've seen her before. She recommended a bunch of food to us all which were good. The space was exactly what we were looking for. It was private, beautiful, and perfect for networking and conversation. From the very beginning, Nicole, the Group Sales Director, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was kind, responsive, and patient with the many questions we had while planning our event. She made the entire booking process seamless and stress-free. We preordered shareables for our guests, and everything came out perfectly. What really stood out was the staff's attention to detail. They even asked if we'd like to keep some of the food under the warming lamps until more guests arrived before bringing it out. That level of thoughtfulness truly went above and beyond. Our server, Phillip, was fantastic as well. He managed all of our guests' individual orders on his own while remaining friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout the event. We arrived early to decorate, and the team couldn't have been more accommodating. They provided us with a speaker so we could play music and even came to the rescue by lending us markers and tape after we realized we had forgotten ours. Those small gestures made a big difference. And now, the food... Absolutely incredible! The vodka margherita flatbread was, without a doubt, one of the best flatbreads I've ever had. It was SO good. The spinach dip was equally delicious, and every dish we ordered received compliments from our guests. The cocktails were just as impressive and perfectly complemented the meal. Everything exceeded our expectations, and our event couldn't have gone more smoothly. I'm already looking forward to coming back to explore more of the menu because if what we had is any indication, it's going to be another fantastic experience.
