We stopped here after an early morning hike for some breakfast, water, and coffee. We were sat indoors, but there is an outdoor patio if you prefer outdoor seating. I ended up getting the Morrison Scramble, which consisted of scrambled eggs with peppers, onions, and cheese. The sides were a choice of potatoes (I chose sweet potatoes) and toast (I chose sour dough toast). I thought the food was fairly good and thought the peppers were very fresh. The service was pretty good and the servers were on top of refilling the coffee. I could've done with a little more attention to the water refills, but not a big deal. The prices were fair and is definitely worth a quick breakfast stop if you find yourself out that way in the morning. read more

After spending four days in Indian Hills, Colorado, we had lots to eat in the area. Just minutes away from our cabin, on our last day, we found this amazing little spot. I don't understand why it doesn't have five stars. The service was phenomenal. The servers were so polite, and courteous, attentive and eager to please. The breakfast was just what we were looking for. Although this place offered multiple options, the simple egg breakfasts were straight to the point--eggs, your choice of meat, and shreds (hash browns). We added the toast for about a buck. The coffee was $2.99 with refills allowed. They use a local coffee called Elevation and it's good and smooth enough to drink black if you appreciate that kind of thing. Our group of four agreed that we wish we had discovered this spot at the beginning of the trip to make it our go-to breakfast spot. The Cow Eatery also offers the Waitlist app which was very convenient. We had breakfast here on a Saturday morning and the Waitlist app stated the wait would be 19 minutes compared to the other places nearby that had more than an hour wait. We were seated much sooner than that. We received a notification to be seated before we even parked. Don't forget to check this place out the next time you're in Morrison Colorado. read more

Chicken burrito: very large but flavors were average Mango goat chees salad: very heavily dressed but flavors were okay. Fish tacos: fish was okay, but toppings were subpar. We stopped here after visiting the Red Rocks Amphitheater which is just a stones throw away. We managed to grab a parking spot in the somewhat small lot but the restaurant is quite small so it makes sense. This place has that hometown feel to it, like it's a good place to meet someone for a cup of coffee. I ordered the Signature Garden Salad due to the lack of any other vegan options. It was delicious with some really tasty greenery and veggies. My sisters split some kind of meat sandwich which they said was good. This place is worth checking out. read more

The service was great and the meal size was greater! We ordered a monster cinnamon roll and split it between four people. Our individual meals were large portions for breakfast. Our waitress was so so kind! Her name was Rose and she made us laugh and honestly made our whole day better! We had the fish and chips and it came with free malt vinegar! The vibes of the patio are to die for! Our sever told us about her story with bikers that come in regularly and how kind they are! Completely gave me a new perspective on bikers! I'm not a soft serve ice cream fan but my grandson is and you can get a vanilla/chocolate swirl which is fun for both five year olds and fifty year olds. The ice cream was good and was a huge serving! The social distancing was great (thanks Covid-19!!). Also had a rootbeer float which was totally delish and the exact right amount of rootbeer to ice cream ratio. Though I wish they would serve brunch/ breakfast items through mid-afternoon on weekends, I've been here before and always liked the food. It's busy on the weekends and was glad I used the Yelp ap to get on their wait list. By the time I got here, the table was ready for on the patio for my dog and I. The wait staff was very nice, and efficient. I went for a BLT, with a side order of bacon (to share with Dylan, my furry friend) and cottage cheese. All very well done and BLT on a crunchy baguette. Nothing fancy, but I've been here before and their burgers and breakfasts have been excellent (note name of establishment). I had never seen the town of Morrison, I've only driven by the sign a few times. My friend and I decided to ditch our COVID-blues and head out of town. She had brought me to this eatery. I don't know much about this establishment, but I do know that they were providing an income for the younger group, during our hard COVID times. Upon arrival, the host had us scan a QR code of their menu. They made sure my friend and I had plenty of distance from each other and other restaurant patrons. We were given the choice to sit inside or outside on their patio. We chose the patio. There is a lot of variety to choose from on their menu, but I went with something simple because my tired body needed the nutrients. I ordered a 1/2 lb. bison burger, with the regular fries. Was I being boring? Probably. But I just missed the restaurant burger and fries, where I don't have to make it. I ordered my bison medium, which was perfect for me. The fries were made just crispy and soft enough! Everything came out hot and fresh. This was my first sit-down restaurant since all of the closures. I really enjoyed my meal and the service was great! Sorry for the minus one star, I am not a porta-potty person, this was our only restroom choice that they could offer. read more

I love hole-in-the-wall joints. The fewer tables, the better it usually is. I stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon after checking out Red Rocks Park & Dinosaur Ridge, you know, touristy stuff. Place wasn't too busy, but it's nearly the end of tourist season in town. Becca was friendly & an efficient server. Burger was great! Good old American deliciousness. I sat at the bar & was able to see in the kitchen. I almost wished I had gotten a salad, almost-I'm a burger girl at heart. Salads were all chopped fresh. The toppings were all diced immediately before being placed on the greens. No soggy diced cucumbers that have been sitting in a metal pan all day here! Great little place for just a few people.
