A variety of offerings on the menu. We stopped in after working up an appetite exploring red rocks. The kids menu made our little one happy. I had Dave's Mother Clucker, my husband had Sam's Buffalo Chicken Wrap. The food was great and the portion sizes massive. The fries are so great! Five star for sure! read more

We came here for Sunday lunch today. There was 11 of us who showed up and our tables had to be split because it was so busy. It's comforting when a place is busy like that, you can trust the food should be good. It's a shame that it's a little cramped, no room for a stroller but they were quick to tell us that it wouldn't fit, just to bring the bassinet in and that there was somewhere we could store the base around the back. They have a sling for the baby carrier but ours is bigger than most and didn't fit so we had to use a chair. It got a bit complicated when we couldn't fit the bassinet next to us anymore because we now had to make room for another table behind us to be split and made into two smaller tables. There was a spare seat at the other table of ours which was a few feet away and we were asked to leave the baby at that spare seat which I wasn't comfortable with but one of our beautiful friends moved so we could fit him in with us. The manager/owner? was apologetic and thanked us for accommodating but it was a bit of a pain in the ass for a while there. The service wasn't too bad and the food came out quickly. I got the mango and goat cheese salad. It was pretty delicious but might have been better with some pine nuts or something sprinkled on top for some more crunch. My hubby had the steak sandwich and said he enjoyed it. The steak was thin but still good. If we're back in the area looking for a place to eat, I'd certainly come back but it would be much easier if we have an odd number of people at the table! read more

My friend and I stopped by here for lunch after hiking Red Rocks We got coffee which was good and the servers were friendly I ordered the chicken and waffles which were great My friend order the breakfast sandwhich but she said it was to dry maybe if they added a sauce it would have been taster Also we got fries but do not recommend. The Cow (formerly known as The Blue Cow) is a Morrison staple! Whether you're heading to a Red Rocks concert or just exploring the area, I would recommend grabbing some food or an ice-cream cone here! Although service is sometimes slow, The Cow is worth the visit. My last visit was a call-ahead/take-out order, but the burger I ordered was still hot and fresh when I picked it up. Can't say anything on service or food, but their online wait list is an additional "15+ minutes" to get a table. Put our name on at 10-15 minutes as we were that far out. Got in and was told it would be another 15-20 minutes. Sorry, what's the point of the online waitlist? Luckily we looked for another place down the road as we had two hungry and tired kids. I got the text that our table was ready almost an hour later, after we were quoted 10-15. Super sad, looked like a great place and I'm sure it was with how busy they were, and the reviews said nothing but great things. This joint is adorable, and a great place to visit. Surrounded by great shopping in a cute small town right outside Red Rock Amphitheater. The food was fantastic! The only problem was that they forgot about 2 of our group's food and said they'd take care of it, when we asked if they did. 20 minutes later it hadn't come out and we asked again and they apologized again. 10 minutes later it came out but we had to go in around 2 minutes, so they had to scarf it down. I understand this happens at places from time to time, but we came back to get ice cream later and they didn't come to seat us this time... maybe they were mad? I have no idea. We ended up leaving. So in conclusion, the food was great. The service? Not so much. read more

The menu looked great, the hostess was friendly, we were told to expect a 15 to 20 minute wait and that we would receive two texts. One confirming my number, and a second when our table was ready. We got their initial text that also directed us to Yelp to watch our place in line. I thought that was a pretty cool feature. However, after 30 minutes I still hadn't received their second text to let us know that our seat was ready, but on my second visit to Yelp to check our status, it said that we were removed from the waitlist. WTH?! We were seated quickly next-door at Tap on the Rocks which was great. Update: If you know that you have problems with your technology, you had my phone number. After a great and tiring morning hike at Red Rocks we popped into the most adorable town of Morrison to get some breakfast eats. Small, quaint place with plenty of seating and adorable decor! Looks like they have a full bar and patio seating for drinks later in the day also! The menu was a great selection and portions were huge! The avocado toast with an added egg was so big could definitely be shared If so inclined. The bowl of yogurt and granola was heaping with fresh fruit and definitely left enough for leftovers! Recommended by my oldest son who lives near here. Here in mid December with middle son for oldest son wedding, another 5 star experience in my eyes!! I had the breakfast burrito and the home made green chili on it was one of the best in recent history. So much flavor! I was gonna take some home but couldn't stop, so I finished it...Son had a dirty chai tea with espresso and it was really good as well (even though I hate tea).
