Vanilla soft serve dipped in cherry
    Cady N.

LOVED the soft serve here, as it comes in huge portions at an unbeatable price! I ordered a small (which appeared more like a large imo) for just $2.50. Even though there isn't a wide range of flavors (chocolate, vanilla, or swirl), there are some fun customization options: cherry or chocolate dip, sprinkles, or both. The location is incredible as well; right by a nice trail with red rock views!

Nestled in Morrison, this is a cute breakfast spot that gives mountain vibes despite being in the foothills. It is alongside a creek where you can walk or sit at a bench, which I love since I have a young kiddo. Food was delicious. We ordered a large pancake, country fried steak w eggs, and an egg breakfast. I took stars off my review because the food came out cold. I didn't say anything bc I'm not a fan of that. I'm a former server so I'm assuming it was a server issue (a nice younger guy) rather than a kitchen issue since a kitchen not dinging the bell or firing food once it's made is rare. Aside from that, the food tasted good and I enjoyed the ambiance. I have a sensitive stomach and the breakfast and the coffee all sat well. I will definitely be back as it's 5 mins from my house.

Emerald Scramble, pancake and Egg Breakfast

The Emerald ready to get a bill Scramble is literally one of the best omelettes I've ever had. Eggs, scrambled with broccoli, asparagus, brussels sprouts, spinach, zucchini, provolone, and avocado with home fries and a pancake was outstanding!!!! Literally maybe the best scrambled eggs I've ever had in a restaurant!

This was a disappointing meal. It came as a top rated spot on yelp for breakfast and in the local area. This was our first stopped after landing in Denver and we needed breakfast. This inside was a cute charming but freezing cold cafe. I started with an apple cider that they throw an entire cinnamon stick in. It was good but the entire cup was sticky for some reason on the outside. I ordered the build you own omelette with shredded potatoes and sourdough toast. First off the toast was not sourdough it tasted like stale white bread. I know sourdough because I have a small business at home in which I make sourdough and that was not it. The omelette was very watery and the amount of cubed ham inside was not edible. The cheese and spinach inside was not even cooked. The shredded potatoes were alright but needed so much salt to be decent. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast burrito it was horrible. The entire inside was undercooked unseasoned breakfast potatoes. There was maybe about two pieces of sausage inside and it was drowned in sauce. Conveniently all the waitstaff seemed to disappear after our food came out and we were starving so we attempted to eat about half of our horrible meals. Then trying to get a staff member to pay the bill was next to impossible as I tried to flag someone down twice and no one came to the table. It was maybe about 20 minutes before someone finally came over. Parking is a very small tight lot or paid street parking. Save yourself a trip and find a better spot for breakfast. This was such a disaster and not worth the experience.

We visited for breakfast after watching the sunrise at red rocks. It's just a couple miles away in Morrison so more than convenient. It's easy to find off the main drag, and although the parking lot is small, it's free and I had no problem getting my full size truck parked there. I had the spotted cow which was delicious, the coffee was good and we also got the omelette, which was tasty as well. The inside is kind of quaint and rustic with a lot of humorous paraphernalia on the walls, fun place for sure. Service was great and we would happily go again.

    The Colorado and tots!!!!

The Cow is a great place to relax, enjoy good food and sip on a beer! This last time we went up, we sat outside on their well covered (and very clean) patio next to the river. Beautiful! I had The Colorado, which may be my new favorite!! The grilled chilies were so packed with deliciousness! Did I mention the tots... perfectly crispy and amazing! Our server was wonderful! I think they only hire the friendliest people! Next time, I want to try the Macaroni and Cheese Grilled Cheese!!! (Wanted to order it this time but had a craving for green chilies instead!)

Really cute place, very rustic. It's the perfect breakfast spot for the area, decent prices for the portions and pretty good food. The people working there are really friendly too. We didn't order it but the breakfast burrito is huge!! Definitely a steal and can feed probably 2-3 people depending on how hungry you are.

Really cute place to have breakfast. I ordered avocado toast and cappuccino. Food was great. Service was great too. Fresh ingredients, nice presentation. I would certainly return if in area.

This place is right near the red rocks amphitheater and has a unique selection of food. From grilled cheese or Mac and cheese to burritos or tacos. It took a bit for us to get seated and make sure you have your ID because they card everyone. That also delayed our service for quite a while. The place is simple and there were quite a few people both inside or using the outside seating. I ordered the Reuben and my wife had the grilled ham and cheese. The Reuben was perfectly cooked and quite good. The French fries were a unique cut and also well done. We also tried their hot sauce and I purchased the garlic Serrano which was something different and very flavorful. Certainly a good option for lunch if you're in the area.

The experience was Ok. Definitely popular. People constantly waiting on a weekday for lunch. Service was friendly. Food, however, was a bit of a let down. While all edible, nothing was memorable.

We stopped in for brunch before hiking at red Rocks. The wait wasn't too long and the patio is dog friendly! It was also enclosed and heat which was perfect for the chilly morning on the day that we went. One interesting thing here is that the service is team service so you don't have just one dedicated waiter/waitress. Food was good though and good portions!

Stopped in before heading to Red Rocks. The Bloody Mary was interesting. Very pickle forward, in a really good way! The omelet I ordered was massive. They have their own hot sauces; and they're delicious! Glad to have popped in. The cow art in the bathroom is hilarious! An added bonus for sure.

It was great to see how young people (teenagers and early 20 years olds) were working at this local spot. They were also doing an amazing job being attentive. We got the tea of the Tillman drink to soothe our thirst after a hike and the summer heat. It was tart but refreshing. I have never had a drink like it before. I highly recommend trying it. We ordered chilaquiles, breakfast burrito, and the mushroom omelette. Everyone enjoyed their dishes and came away full! If you're in the area around breakfast or lunch time, stop in. The "hostess" met us immediately and gave us the schpiel about how they're a scratch-made kitchen and the wait time for food was 40 minutes. That we could "eat-in" as long as we were finished by 7, closing time. It felt really odd and unwelcoming. So basically, shove it down your throat in 15 minutes or get the food to go. I feel like a better approach would be after 6pm, all food is to-go. We're hurrying, deciding on a dish, and choose the 3 Flight, only to be told they don't serve that on weekends (then note that on the board!). Then, to top it off, they don't take cash. Sheesh. The same hostess was kind of a smart Alec about it. She must have had a date at 7:30. By the time we got our food, it was, indeed 15 minutes to eat what we could. The same hostess was cleaning and stacking chairs while we ate. The Mac was delicious. But the experience wasn't. It's been a few years since we ate at Mac Nation.
