My family and I love the Cozy Grill. This cute little breakfast nook in Warwick is always busy and once you try it you will understand why! I definitely would encourage visiting earlier on a Saturday or Sunday as it does get a bit busy, but if you're a small party the wait isn't usually more than 10-15 minutes. My favorite aspect about the Cozy Grill is there robust special menu that changes every week and their signature flavored coffee. They also just added numerous boozy beverages to their morning menu and all of the drinks look incredible. The Cozy Grill gives you great portions for an affordable price. The waitstaff is always fantastic and they're very knowledgeable about the menu. They'll let you know what you can substitute per each menu item and if you can't substitute they'll find a way to make sure you get what you want without paying an arm and a leg for breakfast. The diner is very cozy and has that typical diner vibe inside. There is ample parking around the building. There is a large breakfast menu, they had pistachio waffles which were amazing! I ordered the Northeastern omelette bit was disappointed that the veggies were not mixed in with the egg but instead were folded into the omelette. The coffee tasted great. Amazing little breakfast place. The staff is super friendly and attentive. We arrived at a pretty busy time when the place was packed, but we only had to wait about 5 - 10 minutes for a table. The food is great. Their specialty is probably their Eggs Benedict, of which they have like 10 different variations to pick from. Haven't had a chance to try everything else yet, but it all looks great. They are a little expensive compared to other breakfast places in the area, but the price reflects quality of the food. We were greeted by someone who was very friendly, but as I looked around I saw only two waitresses wearing masks. The cooks were not wearing masks (or hair nets or hats), none of the patrons were wearing masks even when they weren't eating, and the remainder of the staff were not wearing masks. This was approximately a week ago, when mask mandates were in place and the pandemic was raging through the state. I simply don't understand why this place was so crowded. The parking lot was full so I was expecting the place to be crazy and for us to have to wait for a table. I was pleasantly surprised when we got in the door and were seated right away. This location has a totally different vibe than the Coventry location that I'm used to. Parking here is tight, and the atmosphere inside is less cozy, more utilitarian, than its sister location. For instance, the grill is directly across from the counter, giving it more of a diner feel, than a restaurant feel. Nevertheless, the food (I've gone here twice, for breakfast) is outstanding. Both times, I've ordered a simple breakfast of scrambled eggs, home fries and toast (I might've splurged and ordered bacon one of those times). The eggs were cooked perfectly (over hard is not the easiest to order - they are usually still a bit runny or cooked to death- these were perfect) , hash browns, cubed into good chunks, not greasy but a bit under seasoned for me were good, sausage (link) good, bagel pretty good, the pancakes just ok for me. Maybe it was just too much food, but I chose to add syrup not confectioners sugar and the pancakes kept absorbing the syrup....not much pumpkin flavor. Service was great - my water was constantly filled up, and there was a definite flow. We did outdoor dining, and each table was set at a very comfortable distance, QR code's were placed at each table for quick touch less access to the menu. I got the cornbread waffle, and iced coffee.
