A last min pick because my friend needed to pick up something in the area. The food was amazing my Mediterranean omelette was outstanding. The drinks so good from the ice coffee to the cranberry mimosas. The place has a very welcoming vibe. The staff so helpful and friendly. Will be returning to try more of the selections.

Cute interior, solid food, and efficient service. The cinnamon roll pancakes were the standout and the reason for my 4 (not 3) stars - not too sweet, but full of warm gooey goodness! The rest of the food was solid, but could've been better: the toast was a bit burnt & the home fries were a bit under. A bit pricey with everything in that picture totaling to over 30 bucks - albeit it was a lot of food & lasted me more than 1 meal!

Came here for breakfast while we were in the area and the food was good! Large portions. I got the breakfast warp and it had eggs and three different meats. The home fries were a little brunt and not crunchy which I like. The service was friendly and fast. Lots of seating and lots of options. Good diner food!

First time at The Cozy Grill and I was surprised how much I enjoyed it! The smell of the food hits you as soon as you park. We waited about 15 minutes on a Saturday for a group of six plus a newborn, and the space was roomy enough for all of us. I had the Mango Tango to drink which came with (champagne, Malibu, mango & passion fruit juice) and it was perfectly balanced. For food, I tried the Cozy Special with ham. The home fries could use a little more seasoning, but I appreciated that they had salt, pepper, and Frank's hot sauce on the table. Overall, a great first visit and I'd come back if I'm in the area.

I would eat here every day if I could. The selection of egg Benedict's is amazing and always delicious. We also always have to split a cinnamon roll pancake stack or waffle, seriously unbelievable. They also always have creative and delicious specials which makes it super hard to decide on what to get. The service is fast and friendly. No frills decor, just cozy, like the name says lol. Feels like eating at a relatives home.

The first time I came here was early this year for my friend's birthday brunch. She had mentioned good things about it, and just based on the line of parties waiting to be seated, I started to believe she was onto something. I had the steak tips and the service was good, but it didn't leave much of a lasting impression. However, I stumbled upon a video on facebook of a guy who had their fig, prosciutto, and goat cheese benedict and their cinnamon roll with house made glaze pancake and it looked exceptionally good. I added it to my list of places to go, and finally got around to it. After going and trying that exact benedict, it's been on my mind constantly and I cannot wait to go back for more. When we arrived, there was a line (per usual), but they took down our name and number, and texted us when they were ready which gave us some time to explore the area on a walk. As the hostess walked us to our seats, I realized that the inside is so much bigger than the outside leads it on to be. The noise level was moderate despite it being so packed. Our waitress was kind and attentive throughout our entire time there. I obviously went in knowing what I wanted which helped us get our food a lot quicker. The first bite of the benedict was exactly what I imagined it to be - savory, sweet, salty, and creamy. I would have probably never picked this dish without having watched that video because the texture of prosciutto turns me off a bit, but when it's crispy, it's a game changer. The fig jam provides that sweet contrast but its not overpowering. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the hollandaise sauce was good. I wasn't a huge fan of the homefries but it didn't bother me. My friend ordered a basic breakfast with eggs, bacon, home fries and toast and it was also good, with a generous amount of bacon. I am very excited to keep going back to try more benedicts, and this is the first time I have heard of this combo, so it makes this place unique to me.

The restaurant looks small on the outside but once you go in it's big! Staff was friendly and accommodating, it's self seating and there were plenty of seats to choose from, we decided to sit in the back. Service was quick and food was quickly made and brought out to us. There's an electric fireplace in the room where we sat so I can see where the "cozy" name came from; there was also jazz music playing. I'd come here again! Ps: my husband wanted me to mention that they have REAL maple syrup here not just the high fructose one, so extra brownie points to that haha

Recently met a friend at The Cozy Grill and we had a wonderful meal. I was a little thrown off by the parking at first, but it was just because I came in from the back side. The lot is tight, but it was a weekday, so we were able to find a spot without a problem. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. They have an impressive lineup of benedict's, definitely way more options than you'll usually see. I always order corn beef hash at breakfast spots, it's my benchmarks. Their corn beef hash benedict was spot on and super delicious. Totally something I'd order again. Iced coffee was solid and I appreciate that they offer you a fresh cup to go if you'd like. Will definitely stop in again if I'm in the area.

It is a cozy little space. The food and service are fantastic. You know a place is great when people are waiting to get in. Had the Irish and Portuguese egg Benedict's and the Mediterranean omelet. All were great. Highly recommend this place. Lunch menu looks very goood as well.

A great spot. Fast, friendly, a well oiled operation serving up really good food. A full list of eggs Benedict, which did not disappoint! (There has got to be some back room deals going on to get perfect avocados in RI in December, but they were great) Full plates of good food, an long stream of obviously happy locals, so you know it's good. I was in the Providence area for Rhode Island Comic Con. I did a search for best breakfast places and came across the Cozy Grill. I figured the name, rating, and menu full of 20 types of eggs Benedict would make this restaurant a sure thing. My boyfriend and I arrived early in the morning hungry and ready for the convention. Upon arrival, a hostess/waitress said "sit anywhere you like." We picked the table right by the door. Some time went by and no one brought us menus. This got uncomfortable fast. I watch this server slowly bring other people food. She stopped to talk to a male owner/manager. All of a sudden this unprovoked man starts spouting off how liberals love to spend other people's money. The counter patrons agreed with him and started sharing their own political rhetoric. Still no one came to serve us. After about 10 minutes, it was obvious they didn't want our business, so we left. I can't comment on the quality of the food because, sadly, I didn't get to try it. However, I was able to make a few observations: 1- If you're gay, the Cozy Grill isn't cozy. Go elsewhere. They don't want your business. 2- The manager really likes the sound of his own voice. 3- The grill is out in the open. The kitchen staff did not seem happy. 4- The patrons are all locals that clearly provide a loyal following. 5- The restaurant is clean and has spartan decor. Who would've thought a marriage of Italian in a brunch favorite (Eggs Benedict). So today I saw something on the breakfast menu that I never saw before and it was known as Meatball Benedict. I thought this was kind of strange to mix marinara with hollandaise sauce. You know what. I was wrong! This will be one of my favs on the brunch menu. Misleading menu/pricing ... and no fries or coleslaw on Sundays???? This review is more based on the menu options, not so much the food itself, which was ok. My boyfriend and I went on a Sunday and both chose to order from the lunch menu, as it was noon. I ordered a hamburger club, which the menu said came with fries only to be told by the waitress that there are no fries or onion rings on Sundays because they don't run the fryolater. So home fries would automatically be substituted. I was not happy about that, nor was it stated anywhere on the menu that this was the case on Sundays but I said it was ok. My boyfriend ordered a tuna melt, which the menu said came with coleslaw and a pickle. He, too, had wanted a side of french fries, which we knew would be extra, but settled on a side of home fries. They brought his sandwich and home fries but no coleslaw or pickle. When we asked if he should have received coleslaw, we were told that they don't make coleslaw on Sundays and therefore it would not come with coleslaw. Only when I questioned why anything that was advertised on the menu didn't come with the sandwich with no warning or substitution did the waitress somehow "find" some coleslaw in the kitchen. Key takeaways: A. The tuna melt was the same price with or without coleslaw/pickle. We should have been offered a substitute or a lower price. Why on earth with the owners of this place think that we would happily pay full price for a partial entrée? This is insulting and makes absolutely no sense. B. We were not told by the waitress ahead of time that there was no coleslaw on Sundays. I'm not sure if we were supposed to just "know" this but we certainly didn't. C. The Menu does not make any mention of the no fries on Sundays, or the lack of coleslaw. This is misleading and frustrating. And frankly, neither of us really wanted home fries. But we were given no other choices. I've had good experiences here many times in the past, and it may seem like a silly thing to argue over coleslaw, but their food is pricy, and especially in this time of inflation and rising food costs, one expects to receive and pay for what is advertised on the menu. Probably won't go back. Also, I'm not a senior, but the only special offered for 65+ is two hotdogs and french fries for $9.79. The regular price for two hotdogs and french fries is $10.79. That is insane. read more

My husband & I had to run some errands first thing in the morning in Warwick so decided to hold off to eat breakfast until we got into town. I yelped the location for some breakfast options and this gem popped up. After reading all of the positive reviews it was a given. Boy are we glad we chose this place. WHAT A TREAT!!!! The atmosphere, service, and especially the food was top notch!!! We ordered the Surf & Turf Bennie as well as the Loaded Breakfast Burrito. We like to share our plates with one another & both agreed that these two dishes were phenomenal. This place was so good that we'll definitely be revisiting soon. Outstanding. Folks this place is the real deal. We got takeout. I got the Fenway breakfast sandwich. Scrambled eggs with sausage and peppers. Real good. My fellow traveler got a wrap with egg and sausage. These are grade A breakfast sandwiches. The lady from behind the counter felt like she was out of 70s movie with big hair. Couldn't have been nicer. This will be my first breakfast stop next time I'm back in the Providence, RI area. read more

My favorite breakfast spot, hands down! There is always a wait on the weekend, but it's totally worth it! They have great specials all the time and the seasonal cocktails that are delish! The minute you arrive you will be greeted by Auntie Mary. She is the cutest lil thing. Puts a smile on my face even when she has to tell me it's a 20-30 min wait. The staff in general are all very friendly! But she's my favorite! Today I had the surf & turf Benedict! Soooo yummy! I have also had the Portuguese Benedict which is also very good! You get a great serving of it all! All I can say if you are ever in RI check this place out! read more

Just to start off... why one person's opinion of a poor experience is at the top of the list is a disservice to this establishment... The person who gave this a one star really need to be ignored! I have been in food/hospitality industry for over 35 years! I was a chef for over 10 and been a GM for over 20... so I'd like to think I know a great restaurant vs a mediocre one... This one is GREAT! Aunt Mary met me at the door... amazing hospitality!!! Menu is not your diner menu... like 20 different Benedict options... eggs cooked perfectly! Hollandaise was awesome... server was great! We even went next door to meet Lynn at the gift shop. Will definitely make this an annual stop when I come home to visit family! Didn't get a chance to meet Tommy, the owner, but I was very impressed with how he handled that negative commenter. Class act in dealing with idiots! My husband and I went to the Cozy Grill, by recommendation from a regular at another restaurant. I had the Portobello Mushrooms and Steak Tips Bennie and my husband had the Cali Omelet. Both our plates were way more then we could eat. The service was quite and friendly. And, Oh, Aunty Mary, she was awesome!!! Excellent service, with a warm cozy ambiance befitting a diner. The food was amazing. The diner was pretty crowded for a Wednesday late morning, but there's plenty of parking in the back. As a Cape Verdean looking for some linguiça and chouriço in their breakfast... it warms my heart to see a Portuguese breakfast being served here! Literally. You guys are my go to place when I'm looking for something homemade with a bit of a fancy twist! Or even some creativity. And don't get me started on your muffins! Haven't been here for years so I figured I would give it a try. The parking lot was full and people were parking on the side street. Wait time never went beyond five minutes for a seat. Loved the warm welcome from Aunt Mary. Service was quick but we were not rushed. Food was plentiful fresh and beautifully plated. Loved the friendly atmosphere, and the good was great. read more

Great little breakfast/brunch spot. Staff is very nice and helpful. I came here with a few people and we were able to be seated right away. We put in an order and the food came out pretty fast, actually a little too fast as my chicken was still raw in the middle, so I sent it back and they were very apologetic about the situation, which I did appreciate. I think the price is a little high for this type of breakfast place but, the food was really good. read more

My Buddy and I have had such a good experience at Cozy Grill that this has become our regular Tuesday morning go to place. The back room is a quite, laid back change from the hustle in the always busy front of the restaurant. Rachel our server is fantastic! She know exactly what we are going to have before we ask for it. Great memory! The cornbread waffle is still my favorite and I have had it a half dozen times in the past few months. Rachel said the homemade tapioca was really good and she was right! I've been coming here for years!!!! I will go no place else for FRESH breakfast before work. The staff are very welcoming, knowledgeable and warm. Mark is AWESOME gentle giant, aunty Mary is SWEET GENTLE AND SHE KNOWS HER STUFF( tenda tenda steak) Steph is so nice and always wears a smile. This place is amazing! Auntie Mary was so sweet and so was all the staff. The food was amazing. The quality and the amount of food was awesome. Very clean and cozy. This is a must go to when in town. Not far from PVD airport. Will come back next time I'm in town. read more

Ok wow! This place is awesome! Came here for brunch with a couple of friends and it was amazing. I got the French toast because I was craving something very sweet but overall I think next time I would get one of their eggs benny concoctions because their menu was actually very extensive. They will celebrate 24 years in business this August.

When they remodeled they added a small bar to the back area if you prefer counter seating. They offer a variety of mimosa flavors at breakfast and beer and wine at lunch. Although I suppose if you want a beer with your eggs, have at it. The front and side walls have large windows making the interior bright. They offer so many specials. Check out all the white boards on the back wall above the counter seating. These are in addition to their standard menu. Breakfast items include egg based meals (eggs & bacon & toast for ex.), pancakes, hash and lots of al la carte sides. Coffee is good and comes with free refills. I looked on yelp and found some excellent reviews for Joe's pizza in Warwick. It was down near the airport and not far from where I was and so I decided to give it a try. I could end this review by just saying that this place is amazing. But then, that would not be true to form for me so here goes. This is a small place with a tiny parking lot. Few nice tables outside and a counter inside and the rest is where they make the pizza there is also a downstairs where they do the prep. The place is immaculate and all the ingredients are on display. Several pizzas in their case for slice reheats. If you weren't hungry when you came in, you will be when you look at these pizzas. They offer two types of crust, New York and New Haven. The New York Pizza is simply what most people just called pizza. New Haven crust is usually unique to the restaurant. I am used to the apizza crust of some of the famous restaurants in New Haven, so admit that I am partial to those. I still decided to order the New Haven pizza to see what Joe, the owner, had come up with. Joe worked at Jeff's Pizza in East Providence which for all those pizza lovers around here now some of the best pizza in New England. Personally I am not a fan of sourdough crust, which is the only thing that can't move from being a regular there. But they were meticulous about all of their ingredients for both fresh and flavor which resulted in some of the most outstanding pizza you will ever taste. That foundation, Joe opened his own place and has come up with his own recipe for crust, which I have to say is absolutely amazing in flavor. This will now be my go to pizza place whenever I am in the area. I have to start with the garlic knots and call them out. I have a garlic knots before, including some places which claimed to have the best garlic knots ever. They did not, Joe's does. These are absolutely delicious and they served with a Sunday sauce which just augments the flavor. The portion is huge for the price and they are so tasty. I could go here just for these. But I would not want to miss these pizzas. I can't yet say that I've tasted them all, but I can highly recommend the Polpette Rustica (Meatball Pizza). Freshly made meat topped with mozzarella, whipped Ricotta cheese and basil, this is, in my opinion, the penultimate of pizza. I personally could not imagine a better seasoned flavor and loved every bite. I also tried a slice of the margherita pizza. Completely different, but equally wonderful flavor. I have to say that I will be running back. The meatballs were so good. I am even stopping in for a meatball sandwich. This is without a doubt, the best pizza restaurant in Rhode Island and I look forward to many visits. Highly recommended.

I think service could use a bit more attention. Overall the place was good and food was excellent. They offer unique dishes you don't often find in other restaurants. The ambience is also nice and it reminds me of old time tree house. I would go back again m.

From the nicely steamed buns to the great quality weiner, served hot, to the perfect amount of mustard and tasty meat sauce with perfect texture to the finely chopped onions, this is how it's supposed to be. The onion rings were crispy and perfectly fried as well. Not greasy at all. Not homemade either but you're not really going to care that much because they are very tasty. The owner free handed and eyeballed the coffee milk right from a gallon jug into the cup to absolute perfect ratios. Much better than those places that have it on tap. This is a great spot for lunch if you're looking for some wieners and fries or onion rings. Super friendly service. Reasonable prices. Nice people all around. It's a great little, locally owned and operated business and those are becoming fewer and further apart nowadays. Support these kind of places or they will go away.

I've been here for brunch a handful of times, and it usually hits the spot--friendly service, generous portions, and prices that don't hurt the wallet. Today was a rare miss, though: our home fries came out burnt, which took the shine off the meal. Great Breakfast place! Used to come here every morning before my classes switched back in high school. Make sure to check out the Specials cause they rock! Only issue is parking and seating! Always jam packed so expect to wait 5 minutes to find a seat! I see this as a Pro though, means they are certainly doing something rihgt! read more

One of the best staple breakfast places in RI in my opinion. Everything they do there is delicious. They also have cocktails- which is pretty damn cool. And they have a cook who free hands any character pancake your child asks for...he's seriously awesome! read more
