All I can say is it was amazing enough for us to want to come back the next day and make sure The Crown was the one stop we made before hitting the road to the airport. Went back up to see how long the drinks take to serve and the guy who took my order just said "sorry, I wonder what happened?" Crappy service. Yummm. My boyfriend and I got paninis. I got the Lincoln and he got the ridge on a bagel. Mine was soooo good and the perfect food for brunch. How does thIs place have so many stars I'll never know. We've been here three times, because Im clearly insane and gave them two more opportunities it's to earn my business. They would benefit from some reminders about common sense and social norms. Hipsters camp out and lay down in the window (1person) at a 4 top table, people walk in and have no place to sit and leave. People walk in and have no where to sit First time, rude customer service. Second time, 10 am and closed for powder, grow up! Third time they didn't give us the locals discount after asking for it, ok fine, but then gave my hUsband a dairy latte when he asked for oat milk, then berated him insisting he didn't ask for oat milk. He did, it's a huge issue of he has dairy, it's the first thing out of his mouth. read more

My friends hot chocolate was luke warm and when he asked politely if it could be warmed up she gave a dirty look and said "what do you mean it's cold?" We discovered the crown in accident on our way to boring ol'Starbucks in search of a latte. This place is super cool!! The decor is really different and I like the antique mantle with the hooks for your coats! We got 2 breve lattes and they did not disappoint. This was one of our favorite places during our stay in Breck! We first stopped by to get some coffee to-go one day which was good but a little on the sweet side. On our last ski day we were wanting some lunch and I remembered seeing delicious food at The Crown! We looked up the menu and headed that way. The atmosphere is great and the people are friendly. My husband ordered The Ridge and I had The Lincoln. My husband said his was good and I loved mine (the goat cheese puts it over the top). Also, eventhough the chips are poured out of a bag they were so good! I had the jalapeño chips It was the perfect hot lunch after skiing! Finding seating is a little tough as it can fill up quickly in the small space but we lucked out. Since the coffee was a little sweet the first time we asked for it a little less and it was perfect. Super cute place to stop for something to drink and a quick bite after trekking around Breckenridge. I was with a group of six and we were able to find a table and sit comfortably. I ordered the Adams sandwich which was zesty and fresh, and comes with a side of chips and a pickle. I also got the iced chai which was pretty good, and you have a choice between a traditional or spicy chai.
