I came here once for an event and knew I had to get back! Welp, finally I did. We had a ball and watched the Formula 1 race while a really good band played in the background! If you have a huge group of people, this place is the spot you need to be at! They have private areas as well...even a little playground for the kiddos! While we didn't indulge in the volleyball pits...we definitely indulged in the drinks. My margarita was on point! We got there pretty early and our waitress seemed glad to have someone there with her. She made our drinks extra special!

I made reservations for 7:50 to watch NCAA championship game. The manager emailed me to confirm the reservation, but when I got there (7:45pm) I did not see a table with my name on it. My party & I tried asking for help but got nothing. Needless to say, the employees were useless. Luckily I found a table but the view wasn't that great. The speaks went out 3x during the game. Parking wasn't an issue. I found a spot in front of underbelly but I heard there's parking in the bank and you can park on the street. They have sand volleyball which was cool. I'm giving it 2/5 because they did not have my table ready or offered an apology.

Kayla and Chris were amazing. They took great care of us. Helped us with the menu and went above and beyond to make my cousin's birthday fantabulous. Make sure you ask for them when you come. The atmosphere was so calm and relaxing.

I love coming to the Decoy! It's a great place to visit with friends, family, after work etc: I usually go during the day and sit outside. However, it can also get pretty lively at night too. I've tried several different drinks here. The Aperol spritz, corona, margaritas (huge sizes and pretty strong) and mimosas. Prices here are very reasonable too and they have a lot of drinks specials throughout the week. Decoy itself doesn't sell food but they have a burger shop near by where you can grab food and enjoy outside as well as various pop up food/trucks throughout the week as well. The most unique thing about this bar is its volleyball court which I've played on a couple times. I really enjoy that it's nestled right in the middle of spring branch, so we can still get that fun neighborhood bar feel without being right in the city.

This place was packed!!! We went on a Friday evening for happy hour and there was a place for us to sit but we had to park a street away and walk across so I would suggest carpooling or ubering, there isn't that much parking. The food was pretty tasty! The wait was long for both food and drinks but it makes sense with how busy it was and there was only one bartender manning that one window we were ordering from. There's 2 sand volleyball courts. You can order food from the kitchen or from the vendor they have that day. They had a band too that played and it wasn't too loud to where you couldn't talk/hear to the person next to you which was a really big plus. The main sitting area with tables and chairs is under a large covered area. Family and kid friendly and dog friendly too!

The Decoy is a favorite spot of mine to chill with friends whenever the weather is nice. There's a good amount of sand volleyball courts if you're interested in playing. I recently went to watch a basketball game and I liked that we could reserve a table in advance. They have a big projector screen with good sound. The premises are always clean and it's never too packed. The parking lot can fill up quite quickly though if you show up too late! During crawfish season, they have a tent that sells crawfish on the weekends which is quite nice!

Man it was paaaaaaccckkkkked. All in fairness, there was a party going on. The place is chill with ample outdoor seating. The staff are pretty chill and nice, I didnt see any food available, but honestly I wasnt there for that :P Beer towers range about 35-40$ but honestly the best bang for buck seemed to be the fishbowls around the same price. Those were hella tasty! Come for the drinks, play some outdoor bar games, or play your hand at volleyball (yes they have not one but TWO volleyball courts with sand and all) Not my favorite bar, but it is a change of pace compared to other nearby bars.

Drink only establishment with nearby food joints and occasionally a birria taco vendor that pops up. Three sand volleyball courts. Tableside service through an app with some drink deals. They do Jell-O shots when the Texans score. Overall, a really fun spot to watch a sports game or hang out with friends.

Not against coming back, but also not pining to go back. First we couldn't find our table. Sure they have signs but nothings stopping desperate customers from just hiding them or removing them altogether. We tried getting help from the bartender and waited for a manager to pass by but no one came. So we got a table way in the back outside. So view wasn't great, because for whatever reason someone thought putting 2 space heaters right in the middle towards the front was a great idea. The better part of my experience has to do with the food vendors (the crafish social drinkers ones and underbelly). If you go on a day where an important game isn't happening you might like it more. It was a bit annoying how there were so many people that were playing volleyball throughout most of the game, leaving their tables with all their belongings on top. It'd be better if those tables in the middle were actually used by those who were watching the game the entire time. I do like that it's dog friendly. Parking is OK if you get there early but there is parking across the street as well. This place is 30+ minutes from me, so if it were closer I'd see it as worth going to more often. One employee I really encountered and liked was the guy going around and checking on everyone, swapping out crawfish buckets along with papertowels.

I will definitely have my next birthday here! The bartender was so nice, even though she was dealt with a drunken crowd outside . She had so much patience. The drinks were delicious I totally forgot which drink I had but I'm a brown girl the atmosphere was astonishing the volleyball sandbox,the mini games in the side, the sitting areas and I'm so sad I didn't get more pictures overall a well rounded place to have fun with friends and you can bring the kids in the day time.

I created a yelp account just to leave a review for Decoy, that is how bad our experience was. This was the second time we had a work event here. The first time was last September and we were disappointed with the court management. They let people on our court during our allotted time and we had to find someone to kick the team off. This year, we decided to give the Decoy another chance of being a good team building venue. This time was even worse and should be a warning to other customers. The wait staff threw away our work tote bag that was clearly not a trash bag and the biggest issue it had my keys and wallet in it. I could get past the mistake the waitress made but the true problem came from the manager who met me with such disrespect I was so personally offended. The manager didn't want to do anything about the missing bag which we later found out was thrown away. He wanted it to be a tomorrow problem something that he would get to later. Let this be a warning to anyone who wants to visit the Decoy. There are plenty of other sand volleyball places with more respectful staff. read more

Came here with some friends and booked a court. Ag first we had no issues until the entitled bouncer came and caused a scene with us. He told us that after 10pm only people 21+ would be allowed and nowhere in the confirmation email nor when we booked the reservation did it say anything about it being 21 and up after 10. The bouncer then cussed us out and started picking a fight with one of my buddies (keep in mind we're between the ages of 18-20 and this man is at least 50). I mean the disrespect was insane and he needs to be fired/dealt with.We asked to get a manager to help with our situation and the bouncer just had an ugly attitude. I guess he likes ruining kids fun since he obviously wasted his youth being miserable. We wrote an email to the manager to see if we could get a refund or some type of credit since we payed and didn't even get to use our full time and it's been WEEKS since that email has been sent and still no response. I will be showing up in person because this entire situation is unbelievable and unprofessional. We were also told we'd receive a credit/refund for the time we payed for and we have yet to receive any email regarding that. read more

I bought a tap beer and asked for the tab. It was handed to me with a tip already printed and at a pre-selected %. How arrogant and how presumptive. Tips by patrons are VOLUNTARY, not mandatory, let alone the bar pre-selecting the amount and printing it out. I call bull**** on this practice. The anticipation of a tip for good service is in place to encourage good service. I was there on an early Sunday evening and the place was almost empty. No wonder. I will not be back. read more

If I could go a negative star I would, we came in on a rainy slow day and the security was super rude. He refused to check our ID's inside and said "if I get rained on, you get rained on". We offer a variety of seating options including indoor seating with low and high top tables or outdoor seating in our covered patio. We offer a ton of activities including three world class sand volleyball courts, multiple cornhole lanes, brand new kids playground, giant Jenga and Connect Four games, arcade games, claw machines, beer pong, state of the art audio and visual system with multiple screens throughout the venue including a massive 185” TV in our covered patio area. We have plenty of parking available on-site. Our four sided bar and friendly servers make it simple and easy to grab a quick beverage from our selection of draft or bottled beers, premium liquors and specialty cocktails.

They don't serve food, but I think they have food trucks sometimes. You can bring in food or get it delivered though. I think kids are okay during certain hours.

The day before the game we hit up twin peaks after we arrived and checked into our hotel. Although it was cool there, we were looking for more football fans with vibes so we decided to check out Kirby Ice House and was so happy we did! The following day after we left our World Cup game, we went back to twin peaks to grab wings to go and headed back to Kirby's for the next 5 hours for the remaining games! It's a HUGE sports bar with LOTS of TVs and seating areas/options. If you don't mind the heat, they have a huge outdoor patio with plenty of TVs. Me?? We avoided that until the sun went down lol. Inside they still have a lot of tables and TVs or you can opt for the bar and there's plenty of TVs there as well. I love that the vibe in here is super chill! Everyone was very nice. Kim the bartender was the best! They don't serve food but they have different food trucks each day (they have a schedule on their website) and they also allow you to bring outside food just not alcohol. Their cocktails are pretty good and they have a big variety of beers and specials.

The indoor bar area is massive, and the patio is just as big, making it great for large groups or events. It definitely has that laid-back, social vibe, and it's also dog-friendly, which is a nice touch. Customer service was good, and the drink prices were reasonable, especially for a place of this size and popularity. It did get pretty crowded, which adds to the energy if you're going for that kind of atmosphere. There isn't a full kitchen, but there was a food truck on-site (I believe it was Hearsay). It was okay--not bad, but nothing standout. You can also bring in outside food or order from nearby spots, which is convenient. Nothing super fancy or over-the-top, but if you're looking for a casual place to hang out, watch a game, and enjoy drinks with a group, this gets the job done.

There's beer on tap ranging from the standard to the craft, and they offer a full bar if you're looking for something stronger. I haven't ordered food yet but everyone I know who's eaten here has said that it's above and beyond their expectations. If you're looking for a place in Spring Branch to enjoy a beer and have a casual chat with friends, Lazy Oaks will be right on target.

Came into this new place the other night with a few of my girls and had never been here before! Our bartender was Nancy She was super fun and had a great energy.. I'm not much of a drinker myself, but all of the drinks she recommended for me ended up being really good, and I was very pleased with her service and patience helping me find some thing I would like all while managing her other customers!! the place was pretty cool, not like anything I had been to before I do like the fact that there are volleyball courts outside, and a big area for people to sit and hang also the bar wraps all the way around which is sick because you can order drinks inside and outside!
