For breakfast, I am rarely ever found anywhere else but here. First off the staff is tremendous, they have always taken care of me. I am usually in there once a week, and once a month my whole crew from work meets there before work. They are very accommodating, and if anything is ever wrong, they fix it without hesitation or question. The variety is well balanced and the portions are good. There can be a wait, especially during the Sunday Church crowd, but that just goes to show you how popular it is. I love the huevos rancheros, and the French Toast Royale. I came here one day because it is close to work. I got the one egg special, which comes with 3 slices of bacon (or you can choose sausage or ham), hash browns and toast. The serving size of the hash browns was tiny! I was disappointed that I spent over $9 on such a small portion of food. Also, the service is mediocre. Not the most efficient and not very friendly. I got the Mexicana Omelet with toast and hash browns. oh yeah and a coffee. I was pleased with the omelet, but the toast was buttery and not toasted. The hash browns tasted like shredded raw potatoes. With my 2 sides being undercooked it kind of ruined my experience. Service was good but doesn't make up for non-cooked food. Probably one of those places I just wont go back to. If you are reading this and are going to eat there I encourage you to request your sides to be cooked longer. I went here on Sunday morning alone and put my name in. There was a 15-20 minute wait I was told. After 25 minutes, I asked where I was on the list. Yes, one was a party of 6. I understood this, as I was a party of one...but then, 2 other parties of 2 were called. Regardless, this place claims to be the "home of the denver omelet" being a transplant from the washington, dc area I figured what the heck! I'm in Colorado! One of my favorite breakfast spots in the 'burbs. The portions are all reasonable and there is a large selection of healthy options. Also, the healthy options are actually tasty. I can't say I have a favorite because its all so good. If I'm looking for something light I'll go for the simple Fruit and Yogurt bowl, otherwise one of the omelettes. The Delectable Egg is what Le Peep tries to be. It's a good breakfast and lunch restaurant with a diverse menu, great food, and fast service. I've enjoyed their fruit and yogurt crepes and California Eggs Benedict with great enthusiasm -- fresh fruit, good vegetables, perfectly cooked eggs. We show up, there is quite the line, so we elect to sit outside to get served faster. After making our orders and giving specific ingredients to leave out of our meals, and specific side dish request, we waited an entire 45 minutes to get our food. Several waves of people came in, ordered and ate before we received our food. But when we received our orders they were entirely wrong. This place has served us wrong food before, but not this badly, and never did it take so long to get the food to us. I honestly would not be as upset about getting the completely wrong order if I did not have to wait FORTY FIVE MINUTES. I got the most insincere apology, and to top it all off, THEY STILL CHARGED FOR HALF THE ORDER EVEN THOUGH IT WAS WRONG! WHAT THE HELL! Have been to this location several times, and the worst part of each experience has been trying to decide among all the great breakfast items on the menu! You have to love a place that gives you five French toast options (French, Truly French, Peanut Butter, Stuffed, Healthy), a dozen specialty omelettes, crepes, pancakes, waffles, and frittatas, all for openers. The portions are generous and a good value. This is a medium-sized place, and each time we've gone it's been packed. There's not much of a waiting area and it tends to spill into the small seating area, so you may find yourself jockeying for space or standing outside. However, the coffee, although was not supposed to be flavored, tasted like the "flavor of the day" coffee (must have been brewed from the same pot). I must say I was impressed, more so with how they bring out the beverages. They bring you a carafe and leave it at the table so you can refill your water (or even coffee) which I thought was very convenient.
