Such a great Saturday!!!!

How do I start...There are lots of places one can visit in Scottsdale, but fewer you can be convinced to stay at. We had an absolute BLAST here and stayed much longer than we'd have expected, all because of an incredible server named Liz. She was over-the-top with her service, and I can't wait to send all of my friends here. Liz, thank you for your energy and impeccable service. We'll be back to see you again soon!

'Tis the season for football and baseball, where Sunday, Monday and Thursday night's rule. Even better, is staying in Scottsdale just a stone throws away from Old Town and having all those fine establishments at our fingertips to choose from when we want to grab a bite and watch a game. The District is an open and inviting place, with lots of tv's, a large bar and a djay that was spinning during the commercial breaks keeping the vibe upbeat and fun. The menu is a solid bar menu consisting of mainly shakes and buns with a few extras like cheese curds and sweet potato fries. As far as bars go, this one is a solid A-Ok for me. Nothing I didn't like but also nothing that made us say, " best we've been to" just a great location with a big bar atmosphere. It will do and we will be back. The extra star is for their delicious District julep... I heart juleps.

LOL Wait for the last bar to ruin our vacation in Scottsdale (which I really enjoyed and totally will be returning to, just not here). My boyfriend and I ordered a turkey burger and then as we were waiting by the bar to get a drink apparently he "grabbed my boobs" (I have no boobs, so not sure what the bouncer was even talking about) and their GM "Peter" kicked us out. We even asked to see the cameras because that's was a total lie and he just shoved us out the door saying he wouldn't show us (aka it didn't happen. To everyone, totally check out Scottsdale, but skip this place. I'm updating my response, as the owner responded... if your "customers felt uncomfortable with our behavior" than be honest with us and say that. Not make up BS that he grabbed my boob. Literally couldn't be more disgusted by such an establishment.

Sunday funday! Best bar in Old Town. Fun atmosphere, cute waitresses, and good food. It's a Packers bar so during the season this is our spot for the games. Bottomless mimosas on Sunday for $25. Quality food too. This place is poppin' all day and night on the weekends. Great music - their DJ's never disappoint. It's always a good time at The District. 5/5

BLACK PEOPLE AND PEOPLE THAT HAVE A BLACK FRIEND DON'T GIVE THIS ESTABLISHMENT ANY OF YOUR MONEY! I tried to come here to meet friends to watch the OSU vs Michigan game and was turned away by security because I had on Jordans.... Yes JORDANS... I can understand if it was a night club and you say no tennis shoes/ athletic wear but it was 10 am and there were others wearing tennis shoes. To specifically target that brand of shoe explicitly says what type of demographic your trying to keep out. When I was younger I would've argued with security, asked to speak with a manager and tried to convince them to let me in, but these days I'm not gonna fight to give you my money. I'll spend my money with establishments who welcome me. My friends who were let in before I got there tried to speak with a bartender and they were told it's just the policy. No logical reasoning as to why the policy is in place. They were also told no camo amongst other targeted dress code restrictions yet she was let in... Interesting. The bar is trash and classless for this. Eric - Other bars and clubs in that area have a no tennis shoe policy that do not single out Jordans in particular. I obviously don't know every establishments rules so I am sure there others that have this discriminatory policy as well as the district. Because multiple places have it does not justify you having it as well, it just means your all trash for having it.

The band, called "Dayweather" was awesome and they covered all genres from Beatles to Weezer including a lot of mash ups, which were so much fun! The played three sets! We thought about going somewhere else but the music, dancing and overall vibe kept us there. There is table service and even for a busy night it was very good. There is a really nice patio too when it is not too hot out. This place doesn't feel too bougie like some of the places in Scottsdale -- this is where the real people of Scottsdale go to relax and let there hair down! I had a great time and will definitely be back!

It's a very not-Scottsdale Scottsdale bar, which is to say that it's down-to-earth, unpretentious and not too pricey. It has an incredibly strong live music program, with music at least once a day and twice on weekends during the summer, and twice daily during high tourist season. I've found that people--regulars and visitors--are friendly and easy to talk to. OTT is closing in this location and will be reopening in the old Back Door space directly behind it. The space will be larger, but I expect the cold drinks, great music and good vibes will transfer well.

However, the walls have a counter with the stools, so you can order food and eat there! It's super crowded all the time (this was our third attempt getting my inside across 2 days), but so worth it! Our drinks were made quickly, but ordering them was a little trickier. They didn't have many people working (2? 3?) so it was easier to order at the bar then flag down a server. With it being a small space, it was would've been nice to order from a server. We had the prickly pear margaritas and the house margarita. While they tasted good, I'm not sure how authentic they were. But they were served icy cold, so can't complain too much! They were also a decent price. We also had their red pork and green pork tamales. The red was my favorite, with a hint of spice and flavorful pork. The green one was good too. We also had their nachos, which were pretty classic and appreciated by the group! Food came out in about 20-30 minutes. Prices were reasonable too. The best was the live music-- It's free! Lots of country classics. I would arriving around 1/1:15 pm, finding a seat, getting a drink and ordering food, and listening to the well-played tunes. It only has 1 small TV, so I'd go somewhere else if you're looking for a bar/pub to watch sports. Make sure to check out popular, well-known Rusty Spur Saloon for cold margaritas, delicious Mexican food, and dance worthy live music!

Now I realize that the 2026 was a Summer Olympics and Curling is part of the Winter Olympics, but we didn't care Upon entry to go to the host stand and tell them what you're looking to do (activities vs bar/waiting). The space is relatively open and you can immediately see the fully stocked bar, the bowling area, the back axe throwing lanes, and the enclosed curling lanes. We opted for a package that got us unlimited games (any) for an hour. We started with curling and we didn't need any special clothes or shoes. We were lead to a lane and it's set up like shuffleboard (you can stand on either side and there's two separate color stones). There's ice where you glide your stones and you stand on rubber for traction. You can glide by hand or use a piece of equipment that is essentially a stick to help push and guide your stone. There's an attendant on duty to help any stones that are stuck or that don't make it down the lane The experience was awesome. We've always wanted to try curling, but it's difficult to find somewhere that is set up to let you do that. We were amazed that we finally tried it in a desert of all places. There are no brushes like in typical curling, but you still get a sense of the Olympic activity. The bowling was fun too, but it's a smaller version like you might see in some novelty bars. Axe throwing was that of typical ax throwing. You had a couple different sizes of axes, there's lanes and you throw at a wooden target. They had computers to input your name and keep track of points. It was sometimes difficult to stick the wooden target, but it was fun We didn't try the food or drink, but everything looked good. The staff were very helpful. It was a weekend, and it wasn't overly crowded which was nice. Overall it was a fun experience Some tips: If your stones seem to be getting stuck down the lane, ask the attendant to move you to another lane. That's what we did and it made all the difference Explore the rest of bustling Old Town Scottsdale. There's literally something for everyone, and definitely check out the Frybread Lounge for some great Native American fusion cuisine Chee

I Ubered but like most of Old Town Scottsdale, there's plenty of free street parking. You may need to circle around during peak hours, but you'll find a spot. Ambiance (3/5): Pour Decisions is an open air bar, and a pretty expansive one at that. Beyond the open-air area, there's also a spacious patio and a rooftop. I love a good rooftop. With it being Phoenix, when the weather cooperates of course. The aesthetic of the bar was too "Instagram culture" for me with neon witty quotes and such, but some people are into that. Service (2.5/5): It took us about 10 minutes for the bartender to greet us while we were sitting at the bar. It got to the point where we were wondering if anyone was working. Luckily, after a slow start, service was pretty decent after that. Food (N/A): I was on a liquid diet on this visit. Drinks (3/5): The menu matches the vibe. The cocktail list has some pretty fun options, but of the overly sweet variety that lacks sophistication. I couldn't help but order a cocktail that was served in a cowboy boot-shaped glass with a popsicle in it. Fun for the novelty of it but it was a mediocre drink. While I am being a little critical, Pour Decisions has its purpose. If you're looking for a spot to hang out in a big group, Pour Decisions is solid given how large of a space it is.
