We landed on seeing the closest show to 1 PM and planned to buy tickets once we arrived. It's in the same plaza as Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream and The Cheesecake Factory. There are lots to park in, but depending on when you go, especially if it's lunch or dinner time, keep in mind that you could have challenges finding a spot. I carpooled with one of my friends and we found a spot closer to the Ulta in the same plaza. The theater has a bar, a small arcade, and machines at the front for buying your tickets, versus the old school way of buying from an employee. The kiosks work well, but I do think the organization of the films and formats isn't perfect - we had to scroll through to find the movie and the time we wanted for a couple of minutes and that took place during the trailers. Once we bought our seats, they checked our tickets and had one of the employees do a quick check for alcohol being brought in. (Guess it's been an issue in the past.) We were fine as we only had regular water bottles and I had a snack I bought at the stand for the film. We picked a theater that had recliner seats, which were pretty good. The aisles had decent room in the recliner theater I was in. Overall the experience was pretty good. I definitely suggest buying further in advance before you go to the theater if you have more than one friend or person you're attending the film with. We realized that it was difficult to find 3 seats together because we waited to buy at the theater and had to split up in the end. (Not a big deal, but if you prefer to sit with your friends or family, better to buy in advance.) I'll admit it's a theater I can consider in the future if I'm in the area, but I'll likely go somewhere closer to me.

The atmosphere was buzzing with chatter of patrons standing in line, ordering popcorn, getting movie tickets. They even have a bar area for adults 21 and older. There were about 8 new movies I believe maybe more I'm not sure , actually we went to go see scary movie six with the Wayans brothers anyway the decor is cute is fun is busy. You could smell that wonderful popcorn in the air after standing in line to order our BIG BUCKET OF POPCORN AND DRINKS we find our theater we head down they have the most comfortable recliners I've ever been on at a movie theater. The seats were so comfortable, but the screen was ACTUALLY wide enough if you could see it from anywhere in the theater.

They normally start at 7pm or 8pm (depending on when the sun sets) and you'll always see plenty of people with their picnic blankets, lounge chairs, or whatever comfortable devices you sit/lay on! It's hosted by the Enzian, a non-profit movie theater in Maitland (also highly recommend going there and supporting the arts, the theater is really nice there). They provide the vibes, as well as popcorn, so what excuse do you have to not go?? I love how they play a lot of popular but older movies that I probably wouldn't select on my Netflix rotation, so it's always a pleasant experience finding myself enjoying the movies more than I would have thought. They also rotate some more popular and modern movies as well (Shrek is playing this May!) so go find a nice spot, bring some friends, and enjoy!

I asked about the Mexican Street Corn Gourmet Popcorn. This popcorn option is served in a single or a double size. I decided to try it and ordered a single. I then ordered a large fountain drink. We got the popcorn and were given our cups. The fountain drinks and Icees are self served. There are Coca Cola Freestyle and Icee machines available on both sides of the concession stand. The Mexican Street Corn Gourmet Popcorn was delicious. It was coated in queso and had a hint of jalapeño. The queso did stick to my fingers while eating. Having hand wipes or sanitizer with napkins are helpful to clean fingers until they can be washed. The IMAX auditorium was clean. The seats do not recline but were comfortable. While we were there, we observed a medical emergency. The AMC staff responded quickly and administered aid until Fire Rescue arrived.

The Fashion Square mall is, unfortunately, permanently closed now as well. Joy K's review hit the nail right on the head by recommending that a movie producer use this abandoned mall as a film set for a dark/horror/backrooms movie while it is still standing. The comfortingly eerie atmosphere of this theater gave its customers a secret place to escape to when they wanted to watch a movie. Its hidden entrance almost made the movie theater feel like a speakeasy. I feel like only locals knew about this movie theater, and based on my conversations with them, they attended movie screenings regularly. I am so sad that I can no longer go to this movie theater when I need to escape from the world, and even sadder that I only found out about this place in December of 2025! It was very well hidden, after all. Please enjoy some pictures that I took of the movie theater on one of my last visits, and if you're reading, feel free to share any pictures or memories that you have of the Fashion Square mall or Premiere 14 theaters.

Yes, we all know that Fashion Square Mall is a dead mall that's literally operating on a skeleton crew and held together by duct tape. BUT the movie theater here is honestly the best part about it. Everything about it feels like it's been frozen in time and coming here feels like a blast to the past. From the fun neon signs and bright colors to the checkered ceiling -- this is the 90s! Given how everything is trending, I'm surprised this place isn't more popular. Plus, prices here are very reasonable compared to other movie theater spots around town. The popcorn and soda here can sometimes cost more than the actual movie tickets (crazy enough). The chairs here don't lean back or recline, but they're really plushy and feel comfortable. And the whole place is remarkably well maintained and pretty clean. In a world where people complain that more places are losing their character, this Premiere theater literally has all the character. You do have to park on the third floor of the parking garage and walk through some pretty liminal hallways, but it was kinda fun tbh. Service is very friendly and efficient. You buy tickets at the popcorn counter. 10/10 experience. Highly recommend!

Parking is free and and so is the short tram or bus ride to the event. The experience begins on the ride as you're greeted by the bus driver; (Ours was named Splatter and his energy set the mood for the night) and his assistants who may give you a fright as they give you the lore/theme of the houses and their names. The premise of this event changes every year, and after our experience we are excited to see what they cook up next year. In the front yard of the event there are many food trucks to choose from, some with themed menu options, a few shops with an array of goods, and a DJ playing some Halloween classics. This area is a relatively small but we never felt crowded, and we're able to find seats at tables to eat, despite it being Halloween Night where we expected a peak number of visitors. The smaller area also guarantees that you'll have many encounters throughout the night with the scare actors who roam this open space. Screams from guests filled the air sporadically all throughout the night. The houses were extremely impressive. There were 3 free houses included in your ticket and 2 experiences where you pay for an extra ticket. These tickets also work as fast passes to the houses. We found that the lines went by quickly. The houses are not so much houses as they are trails through the wooded area in the event lot which added a lot more to the fear factor than your typical indoor haunted houses. Every scene was filled with props and scares. It was obvious how much effort was put into the designs of the sets. This year's premise to put it simply was an abandoned mall and the houses reflected that. What really made this night for us were the employees. This experience was very interactive and the scare actors all had great attitudes. They were in character but when we had questions about the event they answered us seriously and it showed. We got the impression that they enjoyed their work, and that helped keep spirits high all night

There were families taking a walk while others were fishing or having a picnic. A pair of photographers were out taking pictures of the wildlife in and around the park. The park grounds are kept and well maintained. There are plenty of parking spaces available with multiple access points to the park. On our walk, we came across a food truck that was stationed near the park. Culinary Concepts by Chef Pierre offers a variety of food options from burgers, fish sandwiches to shrimp and ribs. Chef Pierre can be found on Thursdays and Fridays at different locations/apartment complexes. We ordered the Fried Fish, French Fries and Coleslaw combo. We did, however, opted out of the French Fries. The Fish was fried golden brown and was crispy. The Coleslaw was fresh and delicious. Chef Pierre and his staff were friendly and welcoming. We have been searching for new parks to frequent since we recently moved to the area. Crane's Roost Park is definitely at the top of our list and now our go to park. We will also keep a look out for Culinary Concepts by Chef Pierre next time we visit Crane's Roost Park.
