If you are looking for a cinnamon roll fix for everyone/anyone, then this be the place. You got your basic Duffeyroll, then you get wacky and come up with at least six other mouth watering combinations, and then you make them available in midget sizes for the calorie challenged. This to me seems like the perfect recipe for success. For those people that want to balance their carbohydrate intake with some protein, there is the Rising Sun - toasted ciabatta bread with scrambled eggs, bacon, cheddar cheese, and chipotle mayo. There are many other breakfast sandwiches to choose from. This was just the one my husband and I split. The very pleasant waitress brought it out to our table when it was prepared, and they had already cut it in half so that we each had our own basket of mouth watering yum. Very thoughtful. Portions are ample. A whole one would have been too much for me alone. I opted for the chai hot tea. It went wonderfully with the Duffeyroll. It seems like no matter what you order around this place, they pop in one of those fabulous mini Duffeyroll. So don't forget to take that into account when you order to protect your diet, or use that as an excuse. Just letting you know your options upfront. Stopped in bright and early to pick up a dozen and a half mini rolls to ensure I would be the most popular gal at work today (I was). My favorite one is the Irish Cream and I'm not just saying that because I'm Irish. It is like a little crack cake topped with gooey icing and green sugar- deee-lish. Definitely need to get them when they are warm and I was lucky enough to be there for a brand new batch. They do taste different cold. The dozen came in a box and the other six were placed in a bag - this made me sad because the rolls in the bag were on top of each other and the icing melted all over. Finally stopped into this legendary place. I enjoyed a breakfast sandwich with Mini Duffeyroll included in the sandwich price. First off, let me way that we like the Duffyrolls themselves. It's the service that's terrible. Today I had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. I ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches to go and asked how long it would take. Was told 5 minutes. I paid on the Square-like credit card machine and was told that the Tip button was on the screen. I didn't tip. The woman at the counter mentioned the Tip button again. Somehow, magically, my order was lost. 20 minutes late, after many others had received their orders that had ordered after me, r I asked where my order was. Turns out they lost it. Then when they remade it, it sat on the counter for 5 more minutes. And, when I got it home, the bread was mushy and wasn't toasted even though I had ordered it toasted. We stopped in here while visiting from out of town, and the woman at the counter couldn't have been nicer. When she found out it was our first time, she gave us each a Duffy roll for free. Wow they were delicious! We subsequently ordered more Duffy rolls as well as some of the breakfast sandies. The small sandwiches on brioche buns were the perfect size. I have been stopping for coffee at Duffeyroll a couple of times a week for four years. The rolls are superlative, the sandwiches are very good, and I like their coffee. What prompted me to write a review, though, was their customer service. The shop has always been friendly, but I brought a service issue, to the attention of Nick Ault, the Co-Founder of the company. This is hands down the best breakfast place in Denver! The sandwiches are all amazing, and they all come with a mini duffeyroll on the side! I stopped in here to kill some time before a meeting. The rolls and coffee are decent but nothing that I would come back for. The best part of the Duffeyroll Cafe was the staff who were very nice and even offered me a small sample roll when they found out I had never had one. I am wondering how many shills are writing reviews for this place. I mean come on! - does any coffee lover like their stale, bitter coffee? (and I do like strong coffee) I live waking distance from this cafe and I'll drive to Stella's, or Wash Perk, or even Einsteins to get coffee. I've tried it 3-4 times. The original roll I had there was rather mundane. I have had a decent wrap there however. I really like the ambiance of the cafe and it bums me out I have no reason to go there. I'm new to the Duffeyroll experience and I wish I had these years ago. The cinnamon rolls are so delicious. They have different flavours of rolls, the Irish Cream is my favorite. If you go an hours before closing, the rolls are half off. Not as good as getting them fresh baked, but still the best around. read more

This place is soooooooooooo good. We weren't even looking for it and we found it on accident: what a wonderful accident. My husband loves cinnamon rolls so of course we had to go in. But, these are better, so much better. The original is my favorite, and his is the maple. They also have an orange one and I think a pecan one. YOU GET ONE FREE with your expresso drink!!!! That was the best, it's a mini but still, totally delicious. The breakfast sandwiches are not bad either. We got the Rooster and it was yummy! The Duffy rolls are great but don't come here expecting friendly service. The staff has an attitude and are very slow to understand you order or incapable of communicating what they mean. If you ask to clarify they become annoyed. They really need to either better train staff or hire more capable staff. read more

Their rolls are yummy, but way overpriced. You can get a huge roll at. Wholepaycheck for 2.50. I wouldn't mind paying it though if it were a comfortable place to hang out and nosh but it isn't. It is dangerous living right around the corner from this place! The sticky buns are to die for and the Duffeyrolls are equally delicious. I love the cinnamon roast coffee they have as well. Met someone here for coffee on a weekday morning. It was pretty empty, which made it easy to get my cup of coffee and an original Duffey roll. Both tasty. I had a fairly easy time finding a parking spot right out front. I'm curious if finding parking would be harder on the weekends or when they are busier. There are Duffyroll Cafes at several locations around Denver and they are all pretty good. I mostly go for the rolls, they they also have a good selection of sandwiches. The rolls are different from others in that they are lighter and sweeter. I normally buy the original and maybe one with special icing. All are terrific. The service is walk-up counter staffed by friendly neighborhood folks. I go once or twice a month and will continue to do so. It's nice to have something in this baked goods category that is really unique (as far as I know) to Denver. read more

I have yet to find a quality place for pastries, which is quite a shock when moving from the East Coast.
