Went here for breakfast with a friend on a Friday. It was very busy and crowded, had to wait 40 minutes to be seated. The menu items all sounded decent. Inside the cafe is okay, it was just so crowded we didn't really get to enjoy the ambiance. We were also sat at a table in the middle of the room which was wobbly. Did ask for a booth, but were not given one upon request. Started with some drinks, I ordered the One Love (6/10) it was alright but nothing too crazy and my friend ordered an Irish Kiss (8/10) pretty much a spiked coffee and it was good. The drinks did take a long time to come out so we waited at the table with nothing for a few. For food we both ordered the country fried steak with gravy, eggs, hash brown and a biscuit and my friend ordered the same but with home fries, toast, and bacon. We both gave it a 5/10. We also ordered a Banana Nut Bread French Toast (4/10) and Cinnamon Swirl French Toast (7/10). The food just took too long that by the time we received it all, we didn't really care to eat much. In addition, it all tasted just "ok." I feel like if I return I definitely would go during the week Mon - Wed instead of Friday/the weekend. We're visiting our daughter and decided to try it with good reviews and positive comments. While service was great, atmosphere was nice, the food left quite a bit to be desired. Good enough for a return visit, but without a great 'redo' nothing to write home about. Everything was hot enough so you could tell it hit a flattop, but nothing more. Both our hash browns had barely any browning, and the result was effectively mashed potato strings. My corned beef hash was smashed to the grill, again with just enough heat to warm things up. There was no differing textures such that you didn't know if you were eating potato or corned beef. Bacon was cooked enough to call it cooked but limp as can be. The coffee and lemon ricotta pancakes were good with plenty of flavor and no complaints. Again in summary, this visit is very average at best. We're hoping for a better showing on our next visit. read more

The one about brunch was calling my name because is exactly how I feel about it! The service, Alexandra was my server she was on point worhbher communication while the area was loud. She should had warned me about the portion. I was not ready for those big waffles, a huge serving of hash brown potatoes and eggs. The food was delicious... I took the waffles to eat for the next morning. I saw the serving size for other people's order for the price you get a lot of food. The mimosa, that was a good way to start the day. I was aware through the reviews they are known for their bloody Mary but their mimosas specially the lavender lemonade one... I always order a mimosa flight, it comes with 4 mimosas, they have many combinations of flavors to choose from! Their Margaritas are only $6 so hubs had those along with the housemade corned beef hash which is always a tasty choice! I had the citrus cream crullers which were delicious, they came with choice of eggs, potatoes and bacon or sausage links! We were there 2 years ago while on vacation and were so impressed with the menu, we made sure to go back today before heading back home. Found out that if you sit outside on the patio, all drinks except for Mimosa flights are 1/2 price! I got the Blood Orange Mimosa and my hubby got one of the biggest blood May's and I've seen. Our server Trish was phenomenal! She was so friendly and gave great dish recommendations. I got the Mediterranean omelet and hubby got the banana pancakes with over easy eggs & bacon. She even taught us that if you want your hash browns extra crispy, ask for them "scattered & chopped". Everything that we got was on point and we're so sad there isn't one closer to our home. A very welcoming environment as soon as you walk in the door. Everyone was so nice. Anytime I go to a new breakfast/brunch spot, I always start with the corned beef hash if it's on the menu. Although it wasn't up to MY standard (I'm just very picky) it was good but, the home fries were perfection. Definitely worth the order. Our waitress, Victoria, was really sweet and helpful. Everyone's food came in super fast which was nice as it was getting pretty busy for a Sunday morning. One thing to note was the French toast, it looked really good appearance wise but as far as taste it was quite dry. It had a lot of potential to be good but I wasn't able to finish as it was too dry for my liking. There could have been various factors as to its dryness but it would be great if it would have been a little more soaked to reduce its dryness. Our seating today was not the best, we were right outside the kitchen so it was pretty noisy although our wait time was not that long so I am grateful. Our server Joanna was very pleasant and quick with our drink orders of coffee and ice water. Our food orders went in very quickly and the turnaround was a very short 15 minutes. This place is really busy even on weekdays, but the food is mediocre. The server we had was serving like 8 people next to us and was being friendly and chatting with them, but at the same time, we waited for our drinks longer than expected because she was busy with other customers (I hope she got a good tip from them as they were talking her ears off). She was very attentive to us after that and has no complaints. The food they're serving is okay, not good enough that I would come here monthly. The food was bland that I had to cover my food with hot sauce to finish my food. Their menu is overwhelming, there's like 8 pages of food on there. I was surprised because usually restaurants with this amount of food on their menu usually have the best food to serve. Wonderful experience! We had a large group of 18 people, two dogs, and came in on a Sunday for brunch but they were so accommodating and kind! Even brought out water and a treat for the pups which is a small gesture but so thoughtful and appreciated. Aubrey and Savannah were our servers and they the best, so attentive and hard working! The outside patio is so cute and clean and they had fans ready for us on a hot day. I then told nathan I am so sorry but I would like something else and we are then greeted with the manager, who then told me he will not be taking it off of the check and all I can do is pay for more eggs to add to my blended veggie mash disaster. Service was impeccable! Both the gentleman working the front desk and our server were super attentive and caring. We came on a Monday morning around 11:00am and although it was quite busy, we only waited about a minute for a table. Their menu is extensive, with options for literally everyone. My parents are in town and I knew that they would both be happy with the variety. We all had waters, which were filled throughout our meal and my Dad had coffee, which he said was good. I ordered the steak bowl, my Dad got the chicken and waffles with a side of country ham, and my mom got the fried green tomato appetizer which was a special. Everything was good. Starting with the steak bowl; it was a hearty portion and my eggs were cooked perfectly. The steak was also cooked well and seasoned nicely. Not sure exactly what it was from, but the bottom of the bowl was filled with liquid, which made the entire dish a bit soggy and unappealing. Luckily, I was able to salvage some great parts and filled up happily, but the potatoes ended up being very wet. I did love the mushrooms on the dish and wish there was more. Same with the lovely green sauce; delicious but not enough. I would actually probably order the dish again, in hopes that the liquid was a fluke. Chicken and waffles... YUM. The waffles were super soft, the chicken was flavorful, but the damn caramel sauce was the winner of this dish. I couldn't get enough of it. In the future, we would ask for the chicken to be crispy. Ham; super salty just like the menu states. Fried green tomatoes-- best thing on the table. Super flavorful and such a great combo of ingredients. That gator sauce is insanely good! read more

I met some friends here for brunch on a Monday morning. They were pretty busy but I was able to snag a booth for us 5. Our server was very kind and patient with us. I love the spaciousness of the restaurant. It's really bright inside with natural lighting. I love how they have flavored creamers at each table awaiting us. I ordered the 2E's breakfast, this came with 2 eggs, I had them scrambled with cheese, 2 bacon wrapped bundles of asparagus smothered with hollandaise sauce, dressed greens, and a grapefruit. Everything was delicious! My friends loved what they ordered. Their banana bread French toast looked great. And my friend's crab omelet looked amazing. The only thing that threw me off was the fact that everything was served on a separate plate. So we ended up having like 20 plates on the table.
