820pm in LaConner = limited choices. So glad they were still open. And, grateful the timing pushed me toward trying their food. It was- divine. It was like home and hope had a baby on my plate! But- less graphic and gross than that actually sounds. The roasted squash - sweet, savory, and smart. With nuts and goat cheese and arugula !! The Caesar salad - it isn't a boring experience. The giant cheese crisp and the peppercorn make it above average. The ambiance- perfect playlist that shifted from jazz to Tony Bennet to rock... seamlessly. Staff cleaning up but helpful and welcoming. Clean, creative, thoughtful, and cool.

Went to dinner here last night. Service was great! Very cute vibe and the food was delicious!

A wonderful lunch in a sweet waterfront town. Drove up to La Conner to look for Trumpeter Swans. Found hundreds! Strolled art galleries, boutiques & was happy to find its much more than touristy t-shirt shops & tulip posters. Beautiful woodwork, jewelry, high end clothing & international goods. Lunch was delicious fish & chips for him and shrimp & grits for me. I don't enjoy spicy so the chef was kind to turn down the heat for me. Very impressive wine list. Relaxing cozy setting with teeny fairy lights all around. Waitress was extremely attentive. Highly recommend.

We had an incredible experience here. The restaurant is one of a kind and matches the atmosphere of La Conner. We were blown away by the level of care and style in the food. We will be back!

Clams and gravy. ????

This was our second time here. We thought the first was a one-off, but we didn't care for it this time either. There was nothing on the menu that sounded good enough to spend $50-60 on, so I had a glass of wine, my husband had a beer, and we shared a plate of clams with "bacon balsamic vinaigrette," which was actually gravy (see photo). This was weird, but tasted okay. It was served with one thin slice of toast, about 3x4". This is ridiculous. Sorry, but bread is cheap and this dish NEEDS a half a baguette. Last time we were here, I had black cod with squid ink pasta. The cod serving was minute and I really disliked the pasta (as did my husband). He had bouillabaisse, and said it was "pretty good but not great." Service is friendly and the space is nice, but the price, menu and portion size make this a "nope." Edited to add that we actually got sick from the clams a bit later that evening!

Fried house-made bread and butter pickle with a smattering of hot sauces of 'yo choice.

Get in here for a great HH menu and down South service in LC. Looking forward to trying the new game hen on the dinner menu!

We stopped in for lunch. The berry spritzer is a light and refreshing cocktail. Had the baked Brie and fish and chips. All very good. I left very full and probably didn't need to eat all my fish and chips but ilI regret nothing. The unique to this restaurant standouts for me were the Brie and the berry spritzer. Yum!!

Patio at about 11:30am, accommodated our two aussies as well :)

To preface this review, we live in Bellingham and have been long term patrons of The Fork at Agate Bay. The town of LaConner is so adorable, and the new location here just fits in brilliantly. Initially we were a little disappointed to not see a brunch menu available, however that disappointment quickly turned to high satisfaction as we perused their lunch and cocktail menu. Long story short; exceptional ambiance in a prime location, lovely staff providing top notch service, and the food was truly divine. We will for sure be returning for more!

Delicious steak. Generous wine pour, and a Caesar salad large enough to share. Staff was engaging, and we really liked the atmosphere.

Food: Very good food. I ordered the brisket plate with creamed corn (brisket 9/10. Good flavor, good ring on it and flavorful + it wiggles which a good brisket slice should. Corn was pretty sweet but good). My only issue as a Southern spot it please include a slice of bread (white or texas toast + pickles with the meat plates.) the bbq is a homemade bbq sauce thats sooo darn good! Id buy a bottle or two! My wife ordered a brisket sandwich with fries and coleslaw. The brisket sandwhich was of course good with a buttery bun. The coleslaw (was lacking good flavor; not a fan personally). The fries were frozen fries and descent. We also had hush puppies; pretty good. Service: AMAZING service from Mia. Such a sweetheart and gem. She helped us make good picks from the menu. Ambiance: a very large building! When we went it was empty and during early day. Very clean, clean bathrooms and music playing. The look/feel gives more "country" vs southern. I was expecting to hear southern soul vibes on the music, and photos or items throughout that gave "southern bbq vibes". A dope touch would be dope photos of black or southern cowboys, and etc. lots of opportunity for a real down south vibe to be created. Overall- very pleased. I hope they have another 50+ years of business while stay true to their southern roots. Love love lovee

Hot chicken was hot but not too hot and juicy. The slaw tastes refreshing with cilantro, and it was just the perfect amount of food. Highly recommend it. The service was 5 star thanks to Annie and at least 4 others who brought us our food and made sure we were well taken care of. Our food was great despite the lack of warning about how hot the hot chicken is lol. From what we were told it is also NOT their hottest dish. Receipts come with 20% Mallard ice cream which we quickly redeemed. I throughly enjoyed my 1 Piece Fried Meal (fried chicken cutlet) which had the most amazing (only slightly spiced) warmed honey which I drenched everything with. The biscuit was DREAMY!! If I could offer one bit of advice be sure to check out the side dishes on the backside of the menu. I think the macaroni would have made an amazing appetizer. Next time!

The first was my birthday last year, chosen by a friend (I'd never heard of it). This year I was asked where I wanted to go. I did not hesitate to say here! I couldn't be anything other than delighted in my decision--from the pleasantness inside, the wonderful view from our window, the delightful staff and the incredible food and drinks, this place is wonderful. Lucky me that my birthday was on a Wednesday so I could be totally influenced to have oysters-on-the-half shell due to a generous Wednesday night special. I do love raw oysters--and these were so tiny and briny and so incredibly good, I could have eaten five dozen! (I am kicking myself for not finding out what kind they were, but no matter. I would be happy with any they are serving here, I am sure.) I had already planned on having the Oysters Rockefeller (known here as Manor Rockefeller), and so, despite having just downed some oysters, I went ahead anyway and am glad I did! They were wonderful. And there was no real reason for me to pause for a moment in my decision, having already had oysters, because these were soooooo different. It was almost like eating a delicious oyster casserole in a shell. The Mediterranean Mussels were wonderful! (Notice, I was having a dinner of appetizers...) The broth they came in was beautiful (and drinkable, if one were so inclined). I loved the surprising tastiness of the Mama Lil's Peppers swimming around in it. At first I wondered if they would be too hot and compete with the flavor--overwhelming it--but no! Not at all. They were a perfect and flavorful touch. Absolutely wonderful. (And having said that, I know that "pepper heat" is an individual thing--I can tolerate a goodly amount, fyi--I just didn't taste these as hot at all.) Our server, Drew, was immensely helpful (and always charming!) He paired our food with a delicious wine. I guess we would assign my bowl of clam chowder to the dessert category--very thick and creamy--along with a lovely after-dinner cocktail, made by the wonderful and delightful bartender, Sherry. She made me a lovely mocktail to start--I asked Drew to have the bartender just make something up on a whim. It was pretty, colorful and delish with what in it, I have no idea. But, not only was it delectable, it was a vision! All festive and fuchsia, with a "bartender's cherry," and a hot pink umbrella. When I learned Sherry made it, I was so happy because I remembered her from last year--very skilled and very fun to chat with. A wonderful birthday--I highly recommend the Manor.

For the prices you would expect a 5 star cuisine. We've…read morebeen here for dinner several times and lunch a couple times. The dinner menu is far superior but still lacks options. No matter the time of day you come here I wouldn't expect very many meals to choose from but you should expect a substantial bill to follow it. Example, The fish and chips from the kids menu is exactly the same as the adult lunch menu. Kids, around $15 Adult, $35 3 fish sticks with probably 15 fries.
