A Colorado gem. Thoughtfully and imaginatively prepared food presented in a unique historical setting. The drinks program is great fun.

The restaurant wasn't fooling around when it comes to garlic. You could smell the enticing aroma of it as soon as you walk through the door. The ambience was quaint. It is connected to a hotel which I'd check out if I were traveling through here again. We arrived at the restaurant around 530pm. The happy hour menu had both drinks and some dinner items on it. My companion ordered the Spaghetti & Meatballs from the happy hour menu. We were told the portion is the same as from the regular menu. It was $14. ($18 on regular menu.) It was a generous portion with three large meatballs. I opted for the Picatta Pasta at $12 and added four shrimp for an extra $6. They gave me five so I'm not sure if the chef made a mistake or was just feeling generous. I'll say the latter! The dish had tomatoes, capers, lemon, and white wine. The only thing I'd add to my taste would be pine nuts! We both totally enjoyed our meals including the bread! I forced myself to leave a little for lunch the next day and it was even better then! Comments I heard from around the dinner were equally enthusiastic about their meals, especially those who ordered the mussels. We're in town for a week and I don't usually go back to the same restaurant twice when I'm visiting a new location but my companion and I are definitely going back again before we leave. It was a Fri and a bit of busy night when we were there but our server Jillian did a great job and was super nice.

Switched to happy hour Montepulciano wine. Much better choice. The wife had the muscles, lots with good garlic bread. Also the Caesar salad with anchovies. She loved both. I had the chicken marsala. A little different from what I have had before but good. Would like to try a tomato dish but they are closed the next couple of days. Sorry no photos. PS. The Tiramisu was 5 stars!!! Very good.

The service was wonderful and the attention to detail was remarkable. Th staff had up on the back patio. It was covered and there were heaters. They checked on us to make sure we were comfortable or if adjustments needed to be made. Would definitely recommend and look forward to the opportunity when we can return. Well done.

Service was outstanding, it felt like a choreography with how well our server took care of us. The space itself is part restaurant, part bar, with that odd almost-purple lighting that every spot for locals seems to emit. It's a bit noisy inside as a result, but it is what it is I suppose. The burrata starter was delicious. The burrata itself was so fresh, and the accoutrement were similarly tasty. For mains, the insalata with octopus and shrimp was really good, packed with seafood and balanced with citrus from a light dressing. The ravioli pueblo was interesting. The chile in the sauce was a really nice touch, adding some interesting spice to the dish. The sauce itself was very thick, the heaviness took away from the dish a tiny bit. But all in all, a great sit down meal in Pueblo!
