Food and services was really good! First time I came here I had chicken and waffles and the second time I had the shrimp tacos.

Honestly the food was great. What this place lacks is the service. Everyone just acts like they are extremely busy. It took forever to get acknowledged when we first sat down at the bar. We weren't even given menus, napkins, waters, or utensils.. the couple beside us gave us menus, and then we gave it to the person who sat down beside us because no one was acknowledging him. The managers just sit and watch and don't seem to offer any help. It seems very unorganized and that this place still has a few kinks to work out. Again, the food was great! We loved this place. Great hospitality! The hostess was funny when we walked past the check in table. We were seated at Tara's table. She was great with suggestions. The hand made tots were amazing! My daughter loved her gyro and my husband's smoked chicken wrap was great, but he'd get the smash burger next time. It was really good! Plenty of TVs for sports fans like us, too. The Goat Pizza was excellent and the drinks were delicious. We went on a very busy night in a large group, they were a little backed up with our reservation but they treated us so well and the service was spectacular! The wait list on your phone is great. The staff at the bar were exceptional!! We had the mimosa's great deal and they are generous with the juice. It's really loud and hard to hear the people you are sitting next to. The food was ok. The biscuits with strawberry jam were really good. read more

Food was good and the service was as expected considering how busy they were. I did find it weird they brought my wife's food out about 20 minutes before the rest of us got ours. She was done eating when we were served. I also had an issue with the server reading across the table to put plates on the table. She did the same thing when refilling the drinks. The proper way would be to walk around to the person you're serving this preventing you from spilling/dropping anything on the table or people. read more

On 8/12 around 7pm John had to display the worst customer service I've ever seen from a manager, after sitting outside because there was an wait I had to ask John was it possible to get the table I was sitting at cleaned before my guest arrived mind you there was an employee cleaning the tables around me instead of the one a guest "myself" was already at after making John aware of the situation he responded the kid was only 16 give him a break as if I was asking for to much, I look at him and also informed him I hadn't been greeted by a waitress after being seated for almost 10 min I asked what can he do about the situation being that he's a manager that seemed to have no concern for what was explained to him he smiled and said I'll make sure you enjoy your time here with good service but as time went on John never came back to check on me and my guest like he had said which isn't a problem but the waitress didn't either I seen john several times look my way talking to other guest and didn't even bother to stop by to see if the rest of my experience was nothing like the beginning I expected more from this restaurant being that it's a chain of several other locations with Superb food and costumer service! I'll be following up to see that this doesn't go unnoticed because I would like to think John was jus having a bad day and this isn't how he usually deal with customers so I have the peace of enjoying my experience in the near future. read more

Pflugerville has been missing a place like The Goat! This place offers a little bit of everything from Coffee to Cocktails, they've got your covered while you sit on the back patio overlooking the pool. We had the nachos for HH and they were very tasty and came in a large portion. We will definitely be coming back to enjoy this new hot spot. read more

Service is super slow-even when they have 3 bartenders. Upstairs is still not open-something about the elevator. Also, neither of the hand wipe containers had paper towels in bathroom yet there were paper towels sitting on the wet counter. You need better management to lead. Id like the preface this review as I am 22 and work in a restaurant myself so I know how it works ( not a Karen) . My family and I visited for my brothers birthday, but it turned into a nightmare due to the unprofessional behavior of a manager named Megan. While my six-year-old brother was having a bit of fun and threw a bowling ball upstairs, Megan marched upstairs and rudely confronted us. Instead of addressing the situation calmly, she used inappropriate language, cussing "God d*** it" at us. Let alone, no one had informed us that the games weren't to be played since the elevator wasn't working. Mind you, this is our first time so we did not know about an elevator at all and two we could've gotten informed that we weren't allowed to play the games. This outburst was completely unacceptable, especially given that we were not made aware of any rules beforehand. It's disappointing to see a manager handle a situation so poorly and disrespectfully. I hope the management team can address this issue and improve their customer service. That being said, our server was amazing and we loved her and the food was actually really good and I loved the atmosphere. Yet I left feeling super uncomfortable because of Megan's behavior. read more

So decided to try this place, and let's begin.. the water brought to us smelled like creek water, it was disgusting, smell and taste was nauseating. In ordered a smash burger expecting a SMASH burger and it was far from it it was 2 big thick patties nothing close to a smash burger, no flavor, service was super slow and wasn't very busy. Upstairs where the games are is closed. The worst part was by far the water and smash burger, just change the name to burgers because that is not a smash burger. Great spot offering a walk up coffee counter and bakery options. Tried the lunch menu and the burgers, chicken sandwich wraps along with the sweet potato fries were delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive to our questions, food orders and service. Coffee was served hot with a coffee creamer and a coffee spoon. Would love to return to check out the upstairs bar and games once the establishment fully opens and staffs the second floor. The server took 15 minutes to bring over water, if she had said she would be with us shortly we wouldn't have minded. Understandably you were busy, but three servers kept walking by and it was like we had to stare someone down to get service. She never came around to ask how our food was. When I finished eating she just grabbed the plate without saying anything and never offered another drink. When the bill came, another associate came by and grabbed the card, couldn't have helped provide service throughout the evening but could sure help when the check came. We understand being busy and overwhelmed, but we had high expectations being our first time and wanting a special date night. Teach your staff basic customer service skills, will not be back. I went here for an Anniversary Brunch with my husband. The place is EXTREMELY loud. Our waitress A. didn't even know what was going on, wasn't attentive, not nice at all, when I told her that I didn't like my food she said " ok I'll bring a box". Didn't ask what was wrong or anything. I ordered the chicken and waffles and I never ate anything more disgusting . I was so excited to try this place and I'm never going back. Not good for large parties. There is sufficient seating just poorly managed in terms of making smart decisions when taking large parties. After 50 min we were offered to sit outside with 5 young children. Please let that be your offer in the initial checkin not after 50 min of waiting. This will be my first and last visit . read more

Wow I've been to a number of restaurants who newly opened for several months and have to say, I'm IMPRESSED. The Goat has been opened for 5 days and they are running like a well oiled machine. Food is bar food but good and decent portions. If you live in the area, it's a good spot to go. We came from Manor to check it out so not really worth it for us since dogs are only allowed up front and mine goes everywhere with me. The food was great, the environment was outstanding. Management seems lost and very rude towards customers and can not handle pressure. The bartenders you can tell are new to bartending by how slow they work and the servers lack serving experience and look as if they don't want to be there. Other than dry service the food was great.
