Super cute and delicious spot! The overall vibe of the restaurant was charming and welcoming perfect for a casual get-together or a special night out. We came with a party of 10, and they had a lovely table setup ready for us. The service was fantastic. Rib eye (7/10-could have been more saltier and rib eye was medium rare in one side and medium in one, fries on side were good. We tried the baked Sicilian eggs ($19), hot honey chicken and pancake ($25), and lobster enchiladas ($35). My fave was the hot honey chicken. It was crispy, and the honey was sweet and tasty and not spicy. The lobster enchilada was solid. There were some good lobster chunks (not the most tender). The staff was friendly and we were able to bring a cake which they did hold for us until it was ready to be served. To start our brunch adventure, we ordered the bottomless mimosas with a side a fresh peach juice and guava. We kicked things off with Brussels sprouts, and I can honestly say they stole the show! These little guys were perfectly roasted--crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They had this amazing caramelization that made them sweet and nutty. The crispy pecan bacon sprinkled on top added a delicious crunch and a smoky flavor. And the gorgonzola? Wow. It brought this creamy tanginess that paired so well with the sprouts. To top it off, a balsamic glaze drizzled over them added just the right amount of acidity. Seriously, I could eat these all day--they were that good! Next, we tried the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice Stack, which was such a fun dish. The crispy sushi rice cakes were lightly fried and super satisfying. Topped with fresh spicy tuna and garnished with pickled cucumbers, this dish had a beautiful crunch and zing. I've been dying to try Goldfinch! Every time I drive by, I'm obsessed with how the bar looks--it just gives off such a cool and inviting vibe. Today, my boyfriend and I finally went, and we were not disappointed! We started off with mimosas, and they were delicious. I have to come back for the bottomless mimosas because they're not only amazing but also pretty affordable for bottomless. We stuck to just one this time, but next time, it's game on. For food, I got the steak plate with chimichurri, arugula, and fries--and wow, it was so good! The flavors balanced perfectly, and the steak was cooked just right. I also got ranch on the side for my fries, and let me tell you--it was top-tier ranch. Would 100% order this again. My boyfriend got the chilaquiles, and he loved them. Quick note, there is parking validation but it only covers 90 minutes so you'll have to cover any additional time. My friend and I shared the Roasted Bone Marrow and each ordered an entree, which I got the Atlantic Salmon. Roasted Bone Marrow | $26 | fresh herb salad & toasted baguette - This was perfect for two people to share. The bone marrow was a good amount for the price and what surprised us both was the fresh herb salad. It was super tangy and refreshing, which helped balance the decadence of the bone marrow. Atlantic Salmon | $36 | grilled broccolini, asparagus & garlic butter - The salmon was cooked perfectly with the crisp top and tender middle. The garlic butter was a nice touch. Also, appreciate that they offer two types of vegetables on the side. The ambiance was modern and very comfortable. We got a booth seat, which was great for conversation. We did notice the lunch crowd pick up around noon so if you are looking for a quieter vibe, highly recommend visiting early. Our server was very kind and attentive and the staff in general are all very efficient. All in all, it was a good first time experience eating here. The only gripe both my friend and I had was with parking. I think I'm finally back to life. I was at a Business School reunion last night. I ordered shrimp and lobster linguine. Everybody got their food and was halfway through their meal before they came to check on me and ask "why I didn't order?" The food was very good - I highly suggest the Stuffed Artichoke Blossoms and Thai Curry Sea Bass - however, the wine list is severely lacking, and the service was strange at best. Our server was quite awkward and didn't have a lot of 'hospitality' experience, it seemed. He wasn't able to properly open our bottle of wine and he didn't seem to understand proper steps of service. I found it difficult to classify this restaurant. On its surface it is New American cuisine but I would also add a touch of Asian Fusion. For my meal I ordered the prime rib. The portion was huge! I loved the horseradish cream and the au jus served on the side.
