Food was alright & ambience was fine but the wait time for our food was excessive. Just be prepared to wait. It took an hour plus to get our order on a Sunday 11a-12:30 with NO wait time for seating. Server was was a bit forgetful too. Had to remind her to bring water & she never did ask us if she could get us anything else since the food was taking so long or inform us that the wait time for our food would be long. We would like to try again on a different day & time & try the sandwiches instead of the breakfast items. Maybe prep time is faster for those?! read more

Honestly this place really pays attention to detail!! I loved it! Not only was my quiche delicious, it was gluten free! They really cater to the gluten free guest and it's refreshing. Every table has pure maple syrup, my favorite Trader Joe's salsa, and the coffee comes with cute raw sugar cubes. If that isn't attention to quality idk what is! I'm impressed with the side of fruit (not the cheap melon with cantelope). They put strawberries, pears, blueberries, and grapes. The server was on top of it too. read more

My cousins and i visited this cute establishment just before a shopping excursion at Birch Run. The God was so fresh and delicious. We loved the look of the place and the bathroom was so clean. I loved the retro look and the variety of the menu. The owner is so friendly and helpful with making reservations. We will be back. So happy to have found this treasure! read more

I wish I could flavor zero stars. The menu is so called house made, however it is a pre-made frozen foods for the most part. I ordered the Greener Pastures sandwich and asked for it not to be grilled. Turns out that was needed to remove the frozen 'fresh' ingredients. Added negative is the attitude of the staff is not polite and the chairs are duck taped together. I would not recommend this place. read more

Fantastic farm to table eatery with a friendly vibe and quirky charm. My husband and I were finally able to try this little gem of a restaurant for lunch and I had the turkey rueben and my husband the Not Your Mother's Grilled Turkey. My husband absolutely LOVED his sandwich and kept commenting on how good it was! My rueben was just as wonderful and I really liked the healthy portions! We topped it off with some craft beers on tap. Noticed there were a lot of regular customers that were greeted warmly by the staff. Love this place!!! read more

The inside was very cute and rustic - perfect for brunch. The server was very friendly. However, the wait for the food was forever. My dad ordered the turkey croissant and said it seemed like the bread came from Walmart. His tomato basil soup was good although we were given no spoons. I ordered the daily quiche with fruit and although it tasted good the portion was extremely tiny for $10. For fruit I was given two slices of apple and two slices of orange. Absolutely love restaurants like The Grafted Root Eatery that are unique, healthy and have great customer service. I enjoyed the Quiche Lorraine and I also ordered one of their organic hot teas. The restaurant is on the smaller side but it has a comfy feeling. On weekends they have entertainment where certain artists come in and perform. I appreciate the lower prices. Breakfast, lunch and dinner items are available all day. There is also a bar in the restaurant as well. I would highly recommend it! read more

Very tiny and very friendly. I was a bit worried because I'd heard the place has an emphasis on vegetarian food and I've been disappointed in vegetarian restaurants before. Simply Amazing. I'm a native of this area, and when we decided to grab breakfast this morning instead of going to our usual Cracker Barrel I said let's see what's around and oh boy we were pleased. After finding the building which wasn't labeled as I thought it would be, we walked into the restaurant greeted with a warm hello and open seating. We sat next to the window because the sun was beautiful outside. From our seat we could see "Grandma" in the kitchen making deliciousness. Most of Everything is home made, and purchased locally and it's mentioned on the menu where the items come from (local farms) I got the blueberry French toast and she got the pancakes with sausage. Slow service - waited almost 40 min for breakfast in a 1/2 empty restaurant m. Overpriced as well - $1.5 for 1 extremely small piece of toast. $3 for 2 pieces of bacon. Main courses were tasty, and hot. Served on ice cold plates though. All in all, I'd say they're good for a cocktail, but maybe avoid brunch. You'll get more, better, faster, elsewhere. read more

It's so awesome to finally find an eatery in Grand Blanc who utilizes local suppliers to make creative food. The prices are a little high but if you are looking for a unique experience in this area it is worth it. A full bar with several MI beers on tap is a plus! I will be coming back. read more

This little gem is in a small plaza off the road, quite easy to overlook it, but you wouldn't want to miss it. A small restaurant with an eclectic collection of only 8 tables, a couch, and 2 chairs, and a full service bar. The China is mismatched to add to the unique style. The food was excellent, lots of breakfast and sandwich choices, along with salads, and a large variety of gluten free items. I had the Baja eggs, and it was delicious. Service was great, too. Had our anniversary breakfast there this morning. The food was fresh and delicious, service was personable, and very reasonably priced. I had a Frittata with spinach, mushrooms and peppers, and half order of French toast with Slow Jam BlackBerry and ginger jam. Yum. And a latte. Both the latte and coffee were great. Desperate foodie from Shelby Township! My scattered brain mixed up a medical appointment time and with 20 minutes to spare and half mile from this Yelp worthy spot I HAD to stop. I'll be back to get a full taste of their menu. The quick glance of the menu made me wish the oats options may be a quick grab and eat. Think the owner helped me? She said they were out of oats!! Nooo!! But I am GF thankful I'm not celiac and just gluten sensitivity that I can't wolf down bowls of standard pasta or slices of standard fare pizza without causing me big troubles but I can manage cross over touching or cooking or anything that's wheat free.. she had the cook make me a cheddar and egg breakfast sandwich on Gf bread!! 1) what top notch service 2) THANK YOU 3) for sure I'll be back and just a quaint cozy home feel that was welcoming. I dinned on a Friday afternoon with a good friend. We were seated in a rather stale manner. It was obvious that the workers were busy, but we were not greeted or given menus for a good 10-15 minutes. After waiting again, we were finally given our drinks, and our order was taken. It took 45 minutes for me to get an egg scrabble with home fries. While the food tasted great, the service was very poor. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, but I may second guess my choice in coming back due to lack of service. read more

We really like to support local business, especially after the hard hit of Covid. We were so happy to be the first guests since reopening today. We ate outside so we didn't have to be bothered with a mask if we walked around or anything. Plus it was nice out. I had a nice Greek salad and my fiancé had eggs Benedict. Usually everything is quite fresh here. I had only a few pieces of greens that were a bit wilted but hard to keep veggies 100% fresh. The salad was very good. The chicken was cooked nicely. The dressing I believe is homemade. The eggs have a really nice white cheddar for the Benedict. The staff is usually great!! read more

I saw this restaurant on a list of vegan breakfast places. So me and my wife went there for breakfast and to our surprise they had NO vegan options for breakfast. The people seemed nice and the environment was cozy but it was NOT a vegan friendly restaurant.
