If you don't pay attention you'll just pass through this place everyday and not know it's actually a fast food/winery. I usually go to another place with the same name in Downey (not affiliated) but they both serve the great food. I really hope this place makes it because I like their food but it's in an awkward place. I usually get the meal with 3 items. The meats are tender and their rice is great. The only thing I'd say I don't like is the price. It's a bit expensive for lunch so when I order the meal it's usually for two. read more

Everything was OK except their pita bread didn't taste fresh at all! More like it came from a bag from the grocery stores. The owner is nice but this is mainly about the food. Update: we previously dined inside and not the greatest ambience. Like the food and like the people so this time we decided to have delivery. Yelp says $20 minimum and when I called they said it was a $30 minimum. What I wanted ended up being $26 and they still refused to deliver. Was in the area and happened upon this place! What a wonderful surprise in a little plaza and shares the space with a rather nice liquor store maybe more a Bodega. Ordered the mixed plate and boi oh boi a ton of food! So delicious! The meat was all so tender and the hummus and green sauce was wonderful too. The parking is rather tight here has another popular restaurant just across from them in same plaza and all parking spaces marked with what restaurants or business can park there. read more

Absolutely delicious. I've been coming to the liquor store here for years, and I was initially confused about where this new delivery place on Grub Hub was. So happy to see a local business branch out. I can't think of a single negative thing about anything we ordered. We expected the kabobs and the kofta to be dried out, but they weren't. The hummus tasted freshly made. The hummus, saffron rice, and bits of beef kabob scooped up in a warm pita shell had the perfect blend of cardamom and nutmeg. SO GOOD. They are some of the rudest people ever. A simple order took more than 40 minutes, and was more than 20 minutes later than promised. This place is a bit of a hidden gem. It is a shared location with a liquor store. The food is pretty good. We ordered the salmon and chicken kebab plates. Both were served with rice, small side salad, and hummus. Good sized portions. The rice was not evenly cooked, which had some crunchier pieces. There was limited seating inside, but some more seating outside. The additional bonus is the beer selection from the liquor store. It is quite extensive. You have to pay for it at the other cash register. We were with a large party and they brought the beer over to drink with our lunch. read more

Omg so I've only checked in once but I've been here a handful of times. I'm obsessed! I literally cannot get enough of this place. I always get "The Works" and a side of spicy potatoes, delish! It's a lot of food so unless you have big appetite plan on taking some home. The employees and owner are very kind. Only thing that may throw off the whole thing is that it is located in a liquor store however once you try the food you really don't care. My friend and I love the food so much we have a ongoing joke when we recommend new places to eat to one another we always say "is it liquor store good?!" What a nice little find. There food is exceptional. I tried the hummus, gyro, chicken kabob, beef kabob and their potatoes. All were delicious. Only flaw with the place is their sauces, payment method and the setting. They are were skimpy with their tzatziki sauce and will charge you $0.50 if you ask for more. They also like to charge $0.50 for charges less than $5. I'd rather they hike up their prices then charge the fee. Who pays cash anymore. Lastly the setting is in a middle of a liquor store. The food here is great! Very bold spices and the portion sizes are more than enough. The workers are very nice and helpful. It's very creative that the restaurant is inside of a liquor store! So good! If you're looking for ambience, go somewhere else (this is in a liquor store), but if you're looking for delicious, inexpensive food with friendly service, this is your spot. I considered not posting a review so that it doesn't get too busy (I come here probably once a week), but that wouldn't be very nice. I usually get the Greek salad or eggplant wrap (which are cheaper than the fuller entrees, and wonderful vegetarian options... although occasionally I'll add chicken to it, and the chicken there is so good), so my knowledge of the menu is limited. But those dishes are always so flavorful that I can't imagine the rest of the menu not being great, too. Before finding this spot, I really didn't eat much Mediterranean food (maybe once a year, if that's what a friend wanted). But that has definitely changed! read more
