Just got home from NYC but I didn't have enough, The Greenwich hit the spot right! This is the cutest little spot, I absolutely adore the decor (peep the wallpaper and New Yorker puzzles), great service and friendly dinner mates and the pizza was *chefs kiss*! We had the bread with the tomato jam which was great but be beware it's spicy, the mushroom pizza is a mushroom lovers dream, and I always love a good olive oil cake. Overall a great experience for a date, dinner with friends, or to indulge in food for by yourself. I'll be back soon! read more

Wow. Went with a group of six so we got to try a lot of food and not one thing was disappointing. We started out with the bread and butter which seems basic but the butter is a green mixture of goodness and the bread is definitely homemade. We also got the olive knot and the flavor is indescribable. The charred prawns were packed with flavor. We ordered two pizzas- the meatball and the margherita. I'm not sure what or how they are making their dough but anything bread related was to die for. The pizza, while expensive was worth the not so ordinary tasting Za. We were all blown away. Entrees we got lemon roasted chicken, swordfish, and the anchovy steak. We had the carrots, thrice baked potatoes and creamed spinach for sides. It seems vague to say they were all incredible but-they all were just that. Seems like you can't go wrong with ordering here. Our server Michael was pleasant and prompt at getting our food and drinks out. We had an amazing dinning experience and I highly recommend taking a group of friends here to share as much food as possible. The ambiance is perfect with dim lights and good music. Uuuf what a dinner! At first it was tough to convince my husband to check this out. The menu didn't seem "interesting" to him but we randomly ended up here with friends and we loved it. I love the family style idea. Definitely better with a big group, if it was just me and my husband, we wouldn't have been able to try so many things, my favorite were thrice-cooked potatoes, Roasted carrots, Smoked salmon and Bread and butter. All the flavors were so good! Fantastic drinks, great service. We sat outside on the patio, very nice and you're able to talk. Most places in RiNo are very loud but this place is perfect. We were really excited to eat here as it has been so highly rated and talked about, but honestly we left so disappointed and felt scammed for how much we paid. Burned bread entree. $17 for a side of potatoes, $44 for short rib with no sides, $17 for a cocktail that tasted like juice. $220 for two people and one of the main entrees was pizza. I know it's set up as family style but even then, the prices aren't sustainable. Especially because there are so many better places to eat in Denver. Let me tell ya a story about ... We had guests visiting and I made a reservation weeks ago on Tok for Saturday night. When we arrived, they could not find our reservation and after a bit of confusion, our reservation was canceled. I would love to blame the cancellation fairy, but I must have canceled by mistake. Instant panic set in because trying to get in a restaurant at 7pm without a reservation on a Saturday night is more difficult than opening a produce bag at the grocery store. I was ready to burst into tears, but the extremely kind hostesses let me know they would try their best to shuffle things around to seat us and they did!!! STAR 1 (please do not try this, leave begging for a table to the professionals). While we waited, we ordered cocktails and STAR 2 for kind, understanding and fabulous mixologists behind the small and well lit bar. I think the smelled the fear and knew a libation was in order. As the hostess promised, we got seated within 30 minutes (I tell you these people are magic fairies, STAR 4). We now were able to breath, sip our delicious martinis and check out the ambience. The restaurant is small without feeling packed which is fear in itself. The space is warm, modern with texture. The lighting was dim (we had to use our cell phone flashlight to read the menus, but we are old with old eyes). I loved the vibe which felt lively and inviting. It looks as if there is outdoor dining space. The food, THE FOOD STAR 5. Let's get the NY comparison out of the way. For me NY restaurants embrace progressive dining with food that is elevated so that it is food you would not or could not make at home whether a cafe or a Michelin star and Greenwich delivered. This chef is a sauce wizard. The dishes we had were layered with flavors and technique. I always take a day to think about what I have eaten and I am craving everything we ordered. The dishes are meant to be shared so consider this when ordering or not. An incredibly well curated wine list - standard mark up and the cost to dine is reasonable. Not cheap, but priced fairly. This place has a very nice atmosphere and super nice waiters. However we started to order a rhubarb spritz without alcohol and that drink was not tasty at all - no rhubarb taste and had a bitter aftertaste, we also ordered the bread and butter and that was also far away from good. It was a little bit to burnt and had a bit of a sour taste that didn't seem to belong... it was also $9 which was way to expensive for this type starter. Maybe $5 and not burnt. We ordered the margarita pizza as a main course and that one had fresh ingredients for sure but the crust was to doughy and didn't taste good. I would not come back to this place and the only reason it gets 2 starts instead of one is because the tomato sauce on the pizza tasted extremely fresh and was very tasty. read more

I'm so excited to leave this review for The Greenwich. My boyfriend and I live a block away and being the foodies we are, we're always excited to see new restaurants pop up in our neighborhood. We patiently waited to see what would replace Julep, and The Greenwich did not disappoint. I'm from NY so the name of the restaurant spoke to me immediately. I did some research prior to making the reservation and studied the menu a few hundred times as I always do. I was excited to read about the owner and her story and couldn't wait to give her new place a try. I'll start with the drinks. We are big wine drinkers, so I was very pleased to see such a great wine list. You can tell they chose their wines with care, and we appreciate that. My boyfriend started with a few of their cocktails though, which he said were great. One he particularly liked was The Bowery. For apps we shared the lamb meatballs and the chicory salad. My boyfriend is Greek and loves lamb. I've had so many bad experiences with lamb that I usually hate on it, and it's rare we order it out. After reading about the restaurant and the owner and her story, I figured if I'm going to try lamb again this will be where I try it. I am SO glad I did. These meatballs were incredible. We learned that they partner with local farms to provide local ingredients, and made sure things were done the right way at these farms - and that really showed through the quality of this lamb. 10/10. The chicory salad was also great. I'd say it was a twist on a Caesar salad, but really shouldn't be compared to one. It's different in the best way. For dinner we shared the roasted chicken and the whole market fish. The chicken was incredible. Surprisingly, the squash ribbons were a huge highlight for me on that dish. They look simple, but they are delicious. I wished I could've ordered a side bowl of just the squash! The whole market fish dish was very well prepared. The ginger jalapeño sauce was light, refreshing and it was overall a great dish. We shared a side of roasted cauliflower which was also amazing. The hazelnuts and the golden raisins really kicked it up a notch on what can sometimes be a boring vegetable side. Everything we ordered was so great. We really appreciated the owner taking the time to come to our table and chat with us, too. Even if the food sucked (which it definitely does NOT) I'd still want to give a place like this business because you can tell how much thought and care went into this place - from the atmosphere to the menu. Moving here from NY made me realize Denver doesn't have many places like this where you feel "at home." Not many people stop to say hi or really care whether you're having a good experience or not. The Greenwich brought me back the memories I have of all the lovely people and restaurants in NY, and I could not be happier to have this just a block away. Stopped in last night for dinner with my son. I guess I don't get to this area of Larimer too often because it felt brand new to me. I had made reservations and we were seated promptly. I didn't have any trouble parking. The space is welcoming and the patio outside is so cute. We sat outside enjoying the weather. Our server was attentive and walked through the menu for us. We ordered the bread and butter app which was okay but nothing special for $9. We ordered a Margherita pizza with pepperoni. The pie was good. Thinner crust, crispy pepperoni and perfect cheese. Pros: New American digs, they are serving up seafood, pizzas, beautiful seasonal veggies, and some meat-heavy entrees (for those of yas who are into that). The clams and the roasted fennel were my top bites! Excellent wine selection and at a fair price. Great ambiance. Cons: The server rushed us a bit. They were often there when we weren't ready and then never there when we needed them. They did not have the most inviting attitude. Each time we asked a question, they would basically just read the menu back to us. I am not sure if it was a manager or who, but they came to check on us and gave us the run-down of how the restaurant got started. They cleared the table, were fun to chat with, and helped change our perspective of the service. To be clear, we did not bring up our crabby server. PS: The entrance is not super easy to find! Hidden gem in RiNo! This place was amazing. We went for happy hour on a Wednesday and we're sat right away. Our server Demetri was absolutely amazing and helped us with the menu and what all to order. Everything we ordered had very unique tastes and we loved everything! The little gem salad was extreme refreshing and the popizze app was interesting and very tasty! The white pie was to die for but the cheesecake definitely was the best thing we tried all night! The cocktails were extremely tasty and a great price during their happy hour (mon/thurs 5-6pm) The place is new, clean, and modern. They have indoor and outdoor seating plus a full bar. It took me a while to try the Greenwich. The neighborhood has so many good spots I tend to stick to the same ones. We ended up trying it last week and it blew me away. The patio was such a good vibe and the staff very friendly! The food was sooo fresh and exactly what I wanted on a summer night. We had the bread and Brussels sprouts to start, the Margherita pizza, the chicken, and roasted carrots. Didn't love anything tbh, but maybe that's just Denver? The Brussels were not what I expected but probably the highlight. The pizza was super salty and just ok. Chicken was fine (it's chicken). Carrots were burnt. The biggest disappointment was probably the cocktails. Not sure what happened, but neither of us liked our drinks. Never have I ever left a drink behind, but this one was worth deserting! Came here for my mothers birthday and it was an absolutely horrendous experience. Let's start with the service. We came with 4 adults and an baby with a car seat (warned ahead of time) and a stroller; they gave us a tiny 4 top that didn't fit the stroller at the table. When we asked them to move our table in a mostly empty restaurant (this was 4:30 pm) to a booth for 4 (give us an open side to tuck the stroller in) they gave us so much attitude. I'd be ok with the 'tude if they had food to back it, but the food was awful. Like, really bad. The vegetables had wayyyy to much vinegar and tasted so sour and their pizzas were just meh. Did I mention that our server was so rude, making unnecessary comments to the table next to us about our stroller and by extension our baby "being such an inconvenience". Fortunately those people were unbothered by our presence and mentioned to us after the severer left not to worry about it. Absolutely awful experience. read more

So excited that we finally got to eat here, but I felt like maybe I expected too much and was slightly let down. Portions are generous! I loved the bold flavor combos and the service was excellent, but feel like their menu could use some fine tuning. I wanted to give it 5 stars, because there are so few restaurants in Denver that do this type of cooking, but they just need time to perfect their craft. Both our bread and carrots came out very burnt and some flavors were a little out of balance. We had the Brussels sprouts pizza, grilled carrots, thrice cooked potatoes, bread with the spicy tomato jam and the mushroom conserva. Both condiments were lacking a little but of salt, but the tomato jam is def the better of the two. The pizza was very good conceptually, but I wish there was less Meyer lemon relish or just a light zesting of the lemon. The chunks of Meyer lemon peel were too big and I felt like it overpowered everything else and clashed a bit with the bacon jam. The relish was more sweet than tart, rendering the entire pizza a bit too sweet and floral. The carrots were definitely the star of the night. I loved the sweet carrots paired with the creamy, nutty pepita sauce--these are a must get! The thrice cooked potatoes were good, but less special. I felt like the nduja mayo was a bit salty. I don't know if I just came on an "off" night , but this place definitely has so much potential to be the next big thing. I would definitely return to try their entrees and other items. read more

Came here on a whim, without much thought and this is by far one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at in Denver. The portions were substantial, way more than the traditional high end restaurant. The steak was incredible, definitely an unusual presentation, but it was cooked perfectly. The pizza was also quite delicious. Definitely not a traditional Neapolitan or New York slice, but the perfect twist on US style pizza. 100% will go again. I came here for dinner on a Sunday. Dare I say The Greenwich has not been discovered? This restaurant would likely be a highlight of any foodie's recommendation list in any city in the country. The service was impeccable, and inside was laid back/casual with a very mild hippie pretentiousness (that's a good thing). I started off with a rhubarb spritz since I was coming into high elevation and needed to drive. It was delectable! Food is served family style and has large portions. The sourdough dumplings were splendid and not what I expected. Full of flavor, slightly fried, these were delightful. The charred brussels sprouts were done right. Prefectly cooked, they had a wonderful flavor that didn't distract too much from the earthiness of brussels sprouts to begin with. The anchovy garlic steak was one of the best steaks I have had. Sliced already when served (which made family style easier), each bite was pure heaven. Not for the cow, but for my taste buds. Lastly, the cheesecake was great, and the ice cream - I'm a sucker for good ice cream, was perfect. Anyway, if you're looking to impress, this is a good spot to take someone. read more

This place is AMAZING! The ambiance, service, and most importantly the food are all top notch! We went on a Friday night and sat at the bar. The bartender, Josiah, was extremely nice, had great recommendations, and gave great descriptions for all items on the menu. We started out with two cocktails - both were fantastic. The High Line was a winner - although I do think they change their drink menu frequently. The food was the biggest selling point: the roasted carrots, the smoked cabbage, and the white pizza were all phenomenal in their own way. The carrots were perfectly seasoned with a delicious tahini sauce with pomegranate. The smoked cabbage was my favorite - it was savory/smokey/ and salty all in one (will definitely be back just for this). Also, I typically am not a fan of white pizza, but I gotta say this one blew it out of the park - perfect mix of cheesy and lemony and it comes with an amazing hot sauce on the side. The dessert was also phenomenal - we had the chocolate semi-adffogato and the baked Alaska. Both were fantastic. I think I am a tough critic, but this place is easily a 10/10. Food was delicious I recommend the Short Ribs (my favorite) however everything was great. Perfect for a dinner with friends, family or a great date night. They have small dishes and large dishes that are perfect for sharing. We ordered almost all the small plates and no complaints here. Having never been to Denver before, I was excited to be in this city for the first time! I was meeting clients for a work dinner, and they chose the Greenwich. My Uber ride (and I!) had a hard time finding the location, but after a few tries, found it (and the correct door to enter - it's on the side!). What a neat restaurant. I loved the vibe, cozy & dark lighting and decor. Our server was quite personable and always around when someone was in need of another drink or water refill. We ordered a plethora of items, and most were absolutely fantastic! One big tip: If you're sharing, I'd suggest asking serving size, as not all items are created equal! We asked how many salads we should get, and one of the salads was quite large (Winter Spinach Salad), but one was small enough for each of us to eat two individually (Torn Cucumber) - though both delicious! Likewise, the prawns came with one prawn less than the number of diners, which is always a pet peeve of mine. We skipped on the entrees and stuck with the pies, ordering three: Roasted Mushroom, Brussels sprouts, and the White. The Roasted Mushroom was out of this world!!!! I could have eaten the whole thing, twice. Absolutely incredible! The other two were great, but the Mushroom was the clear winner in my book. As if that wasn't enough food, we indulged in the Cheesecake, Pistachio Olive Oil Cake and Apple Strudel. The Cheesecake IS that good - don't leave without it! I was looking forward to the menu with so many vegetable options....but I was disappointed with the two I had. Just to be clear, I like rich vibrant flavors and crave salt. But the Chicory Caesar Salad was incredibly salty. Anchovy usually provides the saltiness in a Caesar dressing, but this seemed as if it was liberally salted in addition to a generous portion of anchovy. The lovely greens were completely muted, and my palate was in shock for the rest of the meal. The Roasted Carrots were highly recommended by other reviewers but again the sauce, lemon tahini, and the spicy pistachio topping, were so dominating that the carrots themselves might have been sponge slices. This was my second time visiting and both times were equally as great. I took my parents here this past weekend and we were talking about the experience for the rest of their trip. To start, everything we tried was fantastic. The dishes I'd like to call out specifically would be the short rib, thrice cooked potatoes, and the broccolini. I would also recommend getting a few orders of bread as it is great to enjoy with all the different dishes. All of the flavors were fresh and well put together. You feel like you're in a New York restaurant when here with the decor and ambiance. Somehow I knew when this place was opening, I saw something on Tock, i think. I could tell the lighting was beautiful and and I liked the concept. My partner and I went on a date last weekend and decided to check it out. The service was wonderful, from the host stand to everyone who served us. Warm smiles and approachability all around. I only tried one cocktail-- they had me at "four roses"-- and it was nice, but the wine list is where it's at I thought. As far as food, everything was good. There wasn't necessarily a great balance to the dishes we ordered, everything felt a little salty and heavy/rich. We got the Israeli greens, carrots, potatoes, chicken, and bread to start. The butter served with the bread was too garlicky for me but husband loved it. Bread was excellent though. Israeli greens/spinach was on point flavor -wise. Carrots and potatoes were really similar dishes as far as how they were served, but both yummy. Chicken, perfectly cooked. I think my only disappointment with the food was really that everything we ordered (which was probably 30% of the menu) was the same kind of dish, like a plate of one thing laying atop a thick spread of something else. And each dish was heavily garlicked and salted, there just wasn't a reprieve. We ordered the cheesecake for dessert-- best decision of the evening, and we never get dessert. Great space and fun vibes with good "DJ" type music. We sat outside and had really good service. The menu all looked interesting and appealing. First course was the salted beets which were delicious and turned out to be the best thing we had. The happy hour chicken sandwich was very good but also greasy and overdone. The salmon was cooked nicely and served with a very overdressed but still good side salad. We had potatoes on the side. The salmon and potatoes were very good but also something was way too salty, I think it was the sauce that came with the potatoes. The food was priced fairly and the bill included 18% service charge and 3% service charge. I always tip 20% so I didn't leave additional because 21% was included. Am I supposed to leave more? A+ all around. This was my second time at The Greenwich. The first time I sat at the bar and had the friendliest -- but not overly clingy -- service I could ask for to accompany some truly great cocktails and a couple of the smaller dishes that shocked me in how well-thought out and tasty they were, even if they read pretty simply on the menu. This second visit I brought a group of 5 with me and I have to say it was one of the best nights I've had in Denver. The pizza was incredible (and I consider myself a pizza snob,) the salads were a perfect balance to everything, the meatballs were basically To Die For, and the chicken was the kind of thing you could attempt at home for a lifetime and never perfect. Went in Sunday As we walked in we were hit with the smell of an unflushed toilet. The staff was very nice and service was great. One of our guests ordered a coke. It was a can, a bit tacky unless you're at a food truck. The cocktail selection was better than the food. We ordered the citrus fish appetizer that was over spiced We were recommended the cabbage that was under cooked and overly smoked masking the other flavors ....if their was supposed to be any. The carrot dish was the better of what we ate and would suggest those The pizzas were just ok at best. The dough was tasteless. The pepperoni was very low grade making it boring. With some great meat curators in Colorado this could be so much better The clam pizza was covered in chili flakes that it made it extremely spicy and covered the clam and other flavor.
