    Super Breakfast Burrito

I was craving a breakfast burrito. Not being from the area Yelp was my best. I found this cafe and I love it. It's so nice, clean, calm and easy to find parking. The customer service was A1. I was greeted the second I hit the door by a beautiful sweet young lady. The cafe has nice soulful music playing in the background as well. My breakfast burrito was a HIT 5/5 or 10/10. This is a great cafe to lounge chill and get some work done if you are in the area. Check it out. It's worth the trip. #Vibe

I love this Black Owned establishment. They believe in the Lord and have a church in Vallejo as well. Coffee is good but the food is FIRE! I had several things but the best thing was the Philly Cheese! Why does the coffee shop have a bomb Philly!? Plain and straight to the point but FIRE! Make sure you pull up!

I've been seeing and hearing about this place on social media, so after getting my nails done today, I decided it was finally time to try it. As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the barista, who stopped what she was doing to come over and help me at the register. When I told her it was my first time there, she encouraged me to take my time because they have so many great options. I ended up choosing a caramel macchiato and, surprisingly, a hot link sandwich. Then I grabbed a table in their very cute seating area--total coffee shop vibes. A short time later, the barista brought out my drink and sandwich, and I was thoroughly impressed, especially with the hot link sandwich. It was made perfectly. My coffee actually tasted like coffee--not watered down like at some places. They've definitely gained a repeat customer. I'm more than happy to support this great Black-owned business!

Had Lovely Jury Duty and the Grind Cafe is right across the street. Very friendly staff, I was greeted as I came in. Plenty of seating inside, they play great music and it's really clean inside. Ordered a chai latte with oat milk and their toasted tomato sandwich. My chai was perfect with the right ratio of chai and milk. My sandwich was yummy, I really liked the pesto and garlic butter spread. Would def come back to try their jalapeño popper burrito. If I get chosen to serve another day of jury duty tomorrow, I'll be back here for lunch.

Looking for the chill, vibey, spacious coffee shop where you could cuddle up on a date, cozy up with a book, or just take a nice food/bevy break from the ebb&flow of life -- then the Grind Cafe is where it's at. My fiancé and I have been exploring more spots in Vallejo and this one did not disappoint us. Folks were super friendly, the menu options endless, and plenty of indoor, electic seating. We love that this a black owned business, the food is on point, and they even hold events in their stage area -- super communal! We got a favorite of ours, breakfast burritos and it was so so good. The only downside about my order was the lemonade. It's not fresh squeezed or homemade; they use country time powder (saw it with my own eyes). Other than that I would return again for some more food and good ambiance. What's not to love?

Stopped for a breakfast burrito after a long flight from NY & wow what a delicious breakfast that was! The staff was friendly and the place itself is beautiful. Of course I had to try their coffee & it was a 10/10 experience

    Matcha Dubai Chocolate Latte

Always love an excuse to drop in here. Haven't visited since before the expansion. I walked in and saw a special for Biscoff Latte and Matcha Dubai Chocolate. I got the Dubai and stopped everything to post that IT TASTES JUST LIKE THE DUBAI CHOCOLATE CANDY, but well balanced with the coffee. I had mine with almond milk and it goes really well together. Don't miss this fun new drink or always lovely space.

Omg!!! My coworkers told me about this location and I am so glad I decided to come. All I kept hearing about was the bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich. All I can say is, PERFECTION! The owner and her staff were top-notch professional. Personable and full of smiles. You can feel a peaceful vibe in the air. Not to mention the scriptures throughout the building, one being my favorite "THE JOY OF THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH". I told the owner she will be getting all my money lol. I work around the corner so it's going to be hard not to come often. I also got a Chai tea and it was so delicious.

The Grind Cafe in Vallejo is a hidden gem! They have the BEST biscotti frappuccino I've ever had--so delicious and perfectly made. The service is always warm and welcoming, and the people there are truly wonderful. Highly recommend!

The cashier was friendly and helpful recommending the Grind Sunrise and Banana Cream Freeze which were Amazing!!!!! We also had the Philly Cheeses team which was awesome. The roll was soft and buttery, meat, cheese, and veggie ratio was perfect. The breakfas burrito was a winner also. Our new go to breakfast spot!

The interior is chill, clean too, loved the outdoorsy pics along the wall. The men who served me were hella nice. I told them it was my first time and one recommended me the Caveman so I got that and the Italian. Both sandwiches were great, I personally liked the caveman more though, we upgraded 1 sandwich with a combo and the jalapeño heat kettle chips went great with it. The bathroom was clean as well. I will say, I went and it wasn't busy but I could see them getting backed up with a 3 man crew. Just call ahead to check before ordering rather than give them 1 star. Honestly I have no complaints, would definitely come back here. ^_^

The sandwiches are good. 4 stars for the sandwiches…read more 3 stars is for an issue my family experienced a few months ago, where we were promised to get one free sandwich after spending a certain amount. We ordered many sandwiches for a party, and they tasted amazing. My dad went in not long after the part to redeem his free sandwich and they said they were not able to give it as promised. This was a let down considering we used them for catering and then the promise of 1 free sandwich would not be honored. The issue is not the price of a sandwich but the lack of follow thru and the way the issue was handled. More recently I DoorDashed a Mesquite Turkey sandwich from then 30 min to closing. The sandwich was really good. TLDR: sandwiches are good, and perhaps we had a communication or customer relations issue.

Deli Only Review:…read more Finally got around to trying the deli for a sandwich after all these years and hearing all the good things about them. Previous attempts were met with 30-45min. wait times that a quick lunch break would never allow. This time, I got lucky with a quick in & out visit on a Friday during lunchtime. The store's an almost comical-surreal throwback to the old food co-op's from the 1970's (for all us grown folks that were part of that era). Like stepping back into a time machine. But, the wonderful smells from the deli hit me when I walked in, which was great and got the appetite juices flowing big time. A two meat cold cut sandwich w/ cheese will set you back $17, tax included. Which is about the ceiling of what I'm willing to pay currently for a similar take-out sandwich anyplace else. Adding that 2nd meat is what kicks the price up a few more bucks. A heated sandwich request adds .50c and extra meat is another $2 on top. Truth be told, most other deli's and sandwich shops have an equivalent option for slightly less $ it seems. Would be gravy if they threw in a can of generic soda pop (Shasta, Cragmont or the like) and maybe a mini bag of chips for this pricepoint, but whatever. Not a deal breaker. Sandwich was very good and they advertise using Boarhead brand meats. It's a winner, if not an everyday lunch option based on price. Check it.

The best fries I've ever had anywhere. Fantastic drinks including an amazing bloody mary. Indoor and outdoor seating and a beautiful multilevel patio area. And the cleanest, most pristine bathroom I have ever seen, that bathroom is spotless. Kat remembers our kids names, even between long stretches where we haven't come in for dinner in a minute. David and Kat promised our daughter they would make her a special Very Berry Mac and Cheese for her birthday. Something off menu, made to order just for our 5 year old, and just asked us to call the day before so they could be sure to have the berries. She felt so special and loved by these wonderful people who went out of their way to be kind to a neighborhood kid. AND Kat surprised us with mini berry cupcakes at the end of the meal.
