This place is amazing. You've probably seen my review for the other nail bar, but this one is even better. Laonnie did an awesome job with my nails and they were super affordable. This atmosphere was fun and my nails turned out perfect! Enjoyed my choice of beverage, while there. Also, there soak off was insanely fast! I had an acrylic overlay done on my natural nails & it's been a great decision! Definitely recommend! Late review so no other photos & a little growth, but doesn't chance my review! Book today, but make sure to ask for Loannie! She's the sweetest and is great at her craft!

I will say I have never had a nail experience quite like this before. On 10/28, I asked for a pure black shellac mani pedicure as Halloween was around the corner. My total came out to $126 plus a $25 cash. Also parking was $7 per hour after the first hour. My nail shape was done well, however upon getting home, I noticed my shellac polish was "wet" and had certain nails already pealed from the center as through it was not cured all the way. (Pictures 5-7) Since they were closed I called the next day as was told to come in to fixed the issue, and paid $7 for parking again but by nighttime the polish had done the same again. (Pictures 1-4). After calling, I was texted from someone in their business telling me they would refund me $30 for the polish. And then they asked me to come in again. To which I thought was unfair because I would have to pay to park again and have another shop fix their mistake. Up until this point, I could excuse the service as a polish issue, but this is where the business completely disrespected me. I walked in and was immediately met with yelling ( when I was very particular about not yelling or blaming anything, but attempting to find a solution that was fair to the point that I had spent almost $165 at this point to have a terrible experience and having improperly cured nails is associated with fungi aka greenies). After yelling at me and saying that it was my fault for choosing a polish that would not cure... but it was a polish in their shop. I was offered a $30 refund and for them to take my nails off. The point that got me the most was that I was treatened by a woman who I presumed is the owner, that I left a review being HONEST, with pictures, they would end my $30 refund. Despite what this owner might think of me as a young woman, integrity is worth more than a disrespectfully offered $30 when $165 had been wasted. If I can save one person from the experience that I had here it would be worth it. I came here hoping to have an hour of two to feel like I could take care of myself and was instead met with disrespect. Lessons learned

I left and paid for this manicure done by the owner! Don't get her!

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! The owner is so rude and she is so rough that she will damage your nails!!!!!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! First the smell is terrible! Second I accidentally left my Fanny pack and sunglasses on a chair. When I called they denied having it and hung up on me. TWO minutes later I got an alert from the TD fraud department that someone was trying to use my card on cashcard!! They kept my bag and sunglasses, stole my cash and tried to use my atm card!!! Don't trust they won't steal your personal info!!

Came here on a Saturday with my 9 year old for mani/pedi day. The location is amazing Right in the middle of the Gulch within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. When we walked in, we were quickly greeted and welcomed. I explained to the receptionist that I'd booked the appointment for a gel mani, but was considering tips. She said they could do that, but I'd have to wait on a specific nail tech. No problem! I sat at the bar and my daughter was in the pedi chairs directly behind me. The space is laid out well--very efficient. And very cool decor and light fixtures! HOWEVER, it was dirty. The bathroom is pretty gross and there's a weird smell throughout the place. I showed my nail tech what I wanted and she was confident that she could do it. She ground my real nails down pretty aggressively and cut my cuticle with the drill, drawing blood in three different spots before she was done. Honestly, the process was painful and I should've spoken up. The end result looked pretty good, but I ended up paying $95 for tips and dip. Three days later and the top shiny coat is peeling off. Also, their website listed a child's mani/pedi for a reduced price, but when we arrived, they told me the old owner won't release the website to them and wouldn't honor the prices. I would never return here.

Stopped by Gulch Nail Bar on a Saturday morning while visiting the city. The salon is cute and trendy as well as conveniently located near restaurants and retail. The place was very busy when I arrived, and I didn't have an appointment. I was informed the wait would be 20 minutes. I walked next door to Starbucks for that time. When I returned I was immediately seated, but I waited another 20 minutes before I was served. My technician was Kat who was lovely! Great attention to detail and very polite. She also immediately offered me a drink(Chardonnay or merlot). This is probably the most expensive nail salon I've been too($35 for gel manicure and $45 for a regular pedicure + tip). I wouldn't recommend it only because of the price, but otherwise the service and quality were great! Parking is in the same building as the nail salon. It's free the first hour(and they may validate after that but I didn't ask).

DO NOT GO HERE. I have open sores on my hands from this manicure. Not only that, but it's the lumpiest gel manicure I've ever gotten. These pictures are from 48hours after my appointment and my hands are still pink and irritated. I read some poor reviews on yelp and decided to go regardless because I was in the area already. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place -- there are plenty other nail salons in the gulch that are worth $70 for a manicure, and someone will actually be gentle with your hands...

The WORST manicure I have ever had. My cuticles are damaged and bleeding. Shape is not what I asked for. I showed the owner, she agreed they were bad and gave me 6% off. Wow. Horrible experience that still cost me $60.

Definitely recommend if you are looking for something custom. We were a walk-in and got sat right away. The staff was very friendly. I showed them a picture of what I was wanting to do and the guy said okay and got all the colors needed. He didn't have one of the colors, but brought two other options and even gave his recommendation. Everything was seamless and quick. Judge for yourself

Kat was an amazing nail tech. I flew in yesterday from LA and needing my nails done before the wedding and rehearsal dinner. I read the review from another girl who also was from LA and got her nails done there so had to check them out. The atmosphere was super calm and had a glass of Chardonnay while Kat finished my Nails. I did powder dip with gel chrome on top and love them! 10/10 recommend for anyone visiting or coming into town and need a quick nail appointment.

They offer Dazzle polish for a $10 upgrade (and I highly recommend it). I love having dry nails in 5 minutes and I can put my socks and shoes on without worrying about it smearing or getting ruined. They are in a charming old house that is comfortable (reclining chairs for pedicures) and cozy. There's always beautiful flowers or some type of floral arrangement. I love their music selection and browsing their items for sale. I'm not big into makeup but they have jewelry, hair things, and rotating items. I usually have no problem finding a parking spot even though it is a busy area. I've been getting a pedicure here almost monthly for 5 years and it's worth every penny. The front desk is always so welcoming and professional. I love it here!

I happened to mention to a friend how I wished I could have my head massaged by a professional and…read moreshe turned me onto the concept of "head spa," which I had never heard of before. Well, I went down a rabbit hole and found Poppy and Monroe! A head spa is more than just a massage. At Poppy and Monroe, they give you a scalp analysis, massage, and essential oil treatments, with plenty of warm, rushing water to rinse and finesse. My treatment, which was pretty pricey at around 300 bucks, also included a facial (the esthetician rubbing my face was divine), foot massage, and hand/arm massage. At the beginning of the head treatment, Anna (who was AMAZING, by the way) showed me what was good and bad about my hair and scalp--my scalp was some of the best she'd seen, but was a little pale and needed more blood flow. She then showed me what my scalp looked like after that treatment, and there was indeed more blood flow, and looked more vibrant and less anemic. Anna was professional and kind and told me what she was doing every step of the way. She made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Everything felt wonderful. The vibe was calm. I felt relaxed. After the visit, Anna gave me pointers on how to care for my scalp and recommendations for returning for further treatments, but not in a gimmicky-trying-to-sell-me-stuff way. The space is warm and welcoming and also offers pedicures, manicures, and makeup sessions. The pedicure/manicure spaces are a little close together for my taste (I prefer private rooms), but they are stylish and clean. I plan to come back and see Anna again to work on my self care regimen. And there are lots of cute restaurants and shops in the area, so you can park and make an afternoon of it!
